"You are almost at your limits so let's just wrap this up quickly. Let's end this in a single attack, so show me the best you can do, Xin." Said Liu Guanyi.

Hearing that, Xin nodded and put up his stance. His left hand was in front of his body while his right hand clenched and rested on his abdomen.

His legs, with his left leg in front and the right leg in the back, spread apart not too far nor too close from each other to maintain the best flexibility while keeping them strongly rooted to the ground.

Xin stared with a tunnel vision on Liu Guanyi, completely focused on him as he prepared his every fiber of being for the eventual clash. There was no room for any distractions nor errors, he would put up what he had painstakingly learned over the years on the next attack.

Liu Guanyi also put up his stance, though he looked much more relaxed than Xin with a smile plastered on his face, his eyes also looked at his opponent with focus.

As they stared at each other and studied their intents and movements, the forest regained its silence as no words nor any noises were exchanged between the two of them, making the situation even more intense, yet somewhat calmer.

The soothing and moist light breeze of the forest brushed their faces as the deadlock between them continued to last longer. Even after a while, neither of them seemed about to break the already long silence that ensued between them.

However, considering that everything would be decided in the next single attack, it was a hard choice to be the one to break it as their opponent would have the advantage to be able to react and easily counter their attack.

Without enough confidence, advantage, or a good plan, no fighter would willingly choose to take the initiative to attack first.

However, since the deadlock created a very tense situation, their bodies would be on a constant edge that could easily stress and exhaust them.

But looking at Xin who had calmly stood his ground unwaveringly in the tense deadlock, Liu Guanyi smiled with appreciation. To be able to stay calm even to this long against an enemy that vastly overwhelmed him, it was quite admirable.

Therefore, to respect his improvement as a warrior and individual, Liu Guanyi decided to break the stalemate and take the initiative.

He stepped forward, and one of his legs sprung forward powerfully, forming a strong front kick toward Xin's groin.

Instead of dodging the incoming kick, Xin rushed forward, bending his body low to the ground and his shoulder inward, letting the kick to only graze his shoulder and pass him harmlessly, and launched his clenched right fist along with the momentum as he unleashed all of his energy in the attack.

Shinsu Control Style: Yellow Iron Fist!

Xin's fist glinted in yellow light as it suddenly appeared in front of Liu Guanyi's face, and struck him, sending all of the power contained within the fist outward, creating a powerful shockwave that destroyed everything in front of him.

However, instead of feeling the crushing sensations on his fist, Xin only felt a strong grasp clamping down on his hand as he couldn't pull it back.

Coming out of the dust, Xin saw Liu Guanyi standing without moving an inch from his previous spot as he casually grasped his fist with his hand while he had an indifferent look on his face.

"Not bad. You are improving quite well, Xin." Commented Liu Guanyi.

"let's stop the training, and just call it for the day. Your body is already exhausted to its limit, and we don't want you to take a long break just to recover, do we?" Asked Liu Guanyi casually.

"Now, just close your eyes and rest peacefully, Xin." Liu Guanyi spoke as he moved behind Xin very fast far beyond what he could respond and react, and chopped his nape using his hand with a moderate force that wouldn't inflict any significant and lasting harm.

The sudden attack took Xin unconscious as his body became limp and started to fall before Liu Guanyi held him and carried him on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Uncaring whether the person on his shoulder felt uncomfortable or not, Liu Guanyi began to briskly walk away out of the forest.

After a few minutes, Liu Guanyi managed to reach the periphery of the forest as the number and density of the trees became much lesser.

Looking ahead, he saw a beautiful white-haired woman in bandages that was sitting on a blue box in the distance, just outside the forest.

As Liu Guanyi finally exited the forest, the white-haired woman glanced at Xin on his shoulder before turning to look at him and spoke with a smile. "As expected of you. You've never really gone easy on him, haven't you, Liu?"

Liu Guanyi looked at her as he continued walking while Adori followed him by levitating on her blue lighthouse, and spoke without care. "Well, we can't exactly improve without really pushing our limits, can we? Plus, it's not like that he didn't expect something like this either."

"When you are the one who says it, it becomes more unbelievable than believable. As if you have ever been pushed to your limits." Said Adori.

"Well, to be fair, I did have been pushed to my limits, especially on the lower floors when we were still unranked regulars and E-ranked regulars."

"Also, didn't you effortlessly manage to defeat me at the floor of tests, Adori? Even I had to resort to my dangerous techniques just to be able to match you." Retorted Liu Guanyi.

"Yet, now you have become extremely strong very quickly, especially considering your status as a mere C-ranked regular." Said Adori back.

Liu Guanyi smiled. "That's just the natural result of my hard training, isn't it?"

Adori stared at him plainly, if it was a natural result of casual training, wouldn't she have achieved the same as she didn't slack far behind him in terms of training either?

"Anyway, how's your condition? You look pretty much recovered." Said Liu Guanyi.

"Well, you are quite accurate. My body has recovered significantly thanks to your medicine and ointment. Probably I won't need to wear these bandages in a few days." Adori spoke as she casually jumped off her lighthouse and gracefully landed on the ground.

"Not really, it's your body that's quite amazing. It seems your body is quite tough, you really need to give yourself a little bit more credit." Said Liu Guanyi.

"Not as tough as yours obviously." Adori snorted.

Liu Guanyi simply smiled. "Anyway, since you will fully recover in a few days, let's prepare ourselves. We will resume our climbing after you do not need to wear bandages."

"Let's show the world the power of the prodigious princess of Zahard." Liu Guanyi said with a grin as he offered his fist to Adori.

Adori smiled and bumped her own fist to his. "Yeah, let's show them."
