"You have to do better than this, princess." Liu Guanyi spoke with a smirk.

The only response Liu Guanyi got from Adori, however, was a hard kick to his chin and his solar plexus, staggering and sending him back away from her, freeing her sword, though the kick didn't do any harm to him as he instantly recovered.

Adori readied her sword once again, now, she knew that direct attacks wouldn't work on Liu Guanyi, he was too tough and powerful to make them work. Knowing this, she moved in front of him once again, sending a powerful, wide horizontal slash at his shoulder.

Liu Guanyi quickly sidestepped before it connected. In this split second, Adori already moved to his flank with her sword magically returned to the perfect state to attack after the wide swing, and without waiting for him to recover, swung her sword at his exposed lower leg.

Sensing the attack, Liu Guanyi calmly responded. He lightly kicked the ground with one of his legs to change his position and used his other leg to kick her arm that held her sword, ridding off the momentum of her sword and stopping her attack.

"Not bad, princess." Liu Guanyi spoke still with a smirk plastered on his face.

"However, you have to put your all if you want to fight… me!" Liu Guanyi exclaimed as he drove one upward, making a high kick at Adori's face.

Adori put up her free arm in time to block the kick, protecting her beautiful face. However, the force sent her flying back a dozen meters away and tumbled on the ground. She only managed to get up a few seconds later.

Adori felt an immense pain coming from her left arm. Looking at her arm, she could see from the tear of her robes that her arm was badly bruised and bloody. When she tried to move it, it didn't respond as it should be.

Most likely, the attack had even affected her bones, something that should have been considered outrageous as her physical strength was thousands of times greater than a normal human, however, Liu Guanyi had done it casually.

Indeed, an irregular wasn't someone who could be messed with.

Even in just a few decades, Liu Guanyi had grown exponentially. From just slightly stronger than a regular member of the ten great families to be this powerful, someone who could beat defeat a powerful princess of Zahard in sheer strength and inflict a significant damage in a single attack!

Adori pressed his hand on her wounded arm as she flowed shinsu into it. She ignored the pain and forced her wounded arm to stabilize and recover just enough to be able to move.

Adori knew that in a fight, one couldn't hesitate even a moment. Because in a fight, even a split second could determine the direction of the whole fight.

Adori gripped her sword tightly. Her sword started to shine as white light sheathed it. It quickly became brighter and brighter as she channeled more shinsu into it. Finally, it stopped when the sword was seemingly encased by a blazing white flame.

Rushing forward, Adori's shining golden eyes made a brief contact with Liu Guanyi's black eyes before his vision was suddenly blinded with a bright white light.

Arie Sword Style: Twin Incinerating Rose Petals!

Two bright burning white sword slashes were coming at him at an extremely high speed. Relying on his extreme senses and immense physical abilities, Liu Guanyi reacted and moved very quickly to the side, dodging the attacks with fluidity and grace.

Adori had expected this, however. She had intentionally created the attacks to force him into dodging them and moving into her trap as her blazing sword was already coming downward toward his neck, ready to sever his neck.

Liu Guanyi didn't have the time to dodge this one, so... he would do something that was even more outrageous. He flowed his lifeforce for the first time in this fight to drastically enhance his already superhuman senses and maximize them to their fullest.

Then, everything appeared and seemed to be much clearer and easier for Liu Guanyi to sense. While his vision was blinded by the light, he still could sense the speed of the sword and its course. In less than a split second, Liu Guanyi had predicted where its vector would stop at a certain point.

With that, everything became much simpler. His body instantly moved without even the slightest delay as his nerves sent the information to the muscles, much faster than the instinctive response by the muscles of regular humans. With all of this combined, his hand moved sideways, deflecting her sword outward, making it pass Liu Guanyi harmlessly.

Even with her precise and prepared attack handled so easily, Adori wasn't disheartened. She had already expected this outcome and adjusted her attack quickly.

Adori kept her sword swinging downward, while it didn't touch Liu Guanyi, there was still a massive amount of shinsu within the sword itself ready to be unleashed.

Arie Sword Style: Great Rose Petal!

As Adori swung her sword downward, the shinsu inside it surged up and created a long and great white slash that flew toward Liu Guanyi. Since the distance was incredibly close, even with all of his capabilities, it was impossible to evade or deflect it. There was only one option, to block it.

He used his other arm to cover his head as the sword slash struck him. However, Adori knew that such an attack was nothing for him, hence, she had saved most of the shinsu for her next attack. Her blazing white sword suddenly calmed down as its energy condensed.

Gripping her sword tightly, Adori slashed her sword with a mighty swing and unleashed all of the torrential energy within her sword into a mighty and destructive sword slash.
