Liu Guanyi picked up the hint from the serious look and solemn tone of the guardian, however, he still decided to answer honestly.

"Of course, I will use that power to my benefit. Maybe I will create another empire in the tower, maybe I will become the most influential figure in the tower, maybe I will use it to do whatever I want."

"It doesn't really matter isn't it, God of Guardians?" He said with a smile.

Hearing the answer, the guardians' expression didn't change much as he touched his chin and pondered over his words.

After pondering for a while, he turned to look at Liu Guanyi again and spoke with a neutral tone. "You are truly different from Zahard and those kids, you are extremely selfish but you are honest about it, a very odd human being."

From what the God of Guardians saw, Liu Guanyi was very distinct from Zahard and his companions. Not only did he see Revolution as only the means to gain more power rather than actually realizing his own fate, but he also didn't even hide his selfish desires to use that power only for himself and whatever he wanted.

Seeing the little human in front of him which looked completely harmless, which was true since the guardian had tested his might and felt that he was weaker than Zahard at that time.

However, the guardian had a premonition, that Liu Guanyi could be more terrifying than what Zahard had become unlike what he appeared to be at the moment.

This feeling wasn't merely a false alarm for the God of Guardians as he could somewhat feel the threads of fate itself from his experience of guiding many irregulars to walk on their own fate.

If such a dangerous being undergoes Revolution, what would happen to the tower?

What would Liu Guanyi become after undergoing the Revolution?

Since Zahard, tempted by power, had changed into a tyrant king after going through Revolution from what was originally a good-natured adventurer, what Liu Guanyi would become if he was already a power-hungry individual whose goal was only to further his own benefits?

Would he stay the same just like what he had said or would he become much worse?

Whatever the result was, it wasn't the God of Guardians' business to care. He was merely created to guide those who opened the door not to determine whether they were eligible to receive their true powers or not.

Furthermore, though it was unbefitting of him, the guardian wanted to see what would the interesting human become in the future, he was a peculiarity that interested the guardian.

"That's right, they indeed achieved their true powers after going through Revolution. As I have said before, when undergoing Revolution, you will meet your "true self", the true power within you. There, you will learn about your fate and uncover your latent power." Said the God of Guardians.

Liu Guanyi smiled and spoke politely. "Then, God of Guardians, please help me undergo Revolution just as you did to Zahard and the ten great families' leaders."

"Alright, Liu Guanyi. Then, brace yourselves, for you need to be completely alone to find your true self." Said the guardian as the shinsu inside the rice pot suddenly surged up.

Feeling the chaotic surge of shinsu which began to cover him, Liu Guanyi didn't resist it and quickly positioned himself in a lotus position instead. Drowsiness started to set in as he closed his eyes.

His consciousness became more and more weakened, and finally, he completely lost the control of it and delved into the darkness.

. . . . . .

Liu Guanyi felt his consciousness had returned to him. However, he sensed that he was in a different place as he felt his body was floating underwater.

He tried to move parts of his body. It seemed to be successful as he could feel the water passed around his body, though the world was still dark, however.

Since he could move his body, Liu Guanyi figured out that the darkness was because he hadn't opened his eyes, so he tried to open his eyelids. It was hard to do so, but after some time, he finally successfully managed to do so.

When Liu Guanyi opened his eyes, he couldn't see anything as his vision was blurry despite his eyesight being many times better than normal after being refined with his inner energy.

Fortunately, his eyes turned better quickly, and he could finally see everything clearly. His first impression was, blue, extremely blue. What he saw was an extremely vast blue space that stretched so far and wide which seemed to be boundless like heaven as he couldn't even see its ends.

Seeing this, Liu Guanyi instantly knew that this place was related to shinsu, or probably even created purely with shinsu. The blue color and aquatic characteristics couldn't be mistaken as shinsu was the sacred waters, just like what Headon had described it for the first time to him.

Liu Guanyi looked around, finding nothing but himself alone in the vast expanse. He tried to move forward, unfortunately, his speed was very slow, and with the size of the space, he probably would take an eternity to explore even a part of the place.

Knowing this, Liu Guanyi stopped the futile attempt and thought to himself. This place was related to himself. According to the God of Guardians, he was here to find out his true self.

Thinking about it, what was his true self actually was?

His mouth curled into a smile, for Liu Guanyi, this was extremely easy. He had lived for more than three hundred years, now, he was nearing four hundred years. He had experienced so many things from big to small and even experienced death for a few times.

Now, he had even been reincarnated in a massive tower full of various creatures, from human-like animals, people who easily live for hundreds of years, and even the ancient monsters who had lived for most likely dozens of millenniums who possessed heaven-defying powers.

And even the more terrifying entities that stood above all of them, the floors' guardians, the ones who had existed since the beginning of the tower.

However, there was one thing that stick out to Liu Guanyi and defined him more than those things, even shinsu, the magical and mysterious force capable of creating unlimited miracles which persisted in the tower.

Liu Guanyi had lived to walk and explore its greatness.

It was the Martial Way, or more specifically, the inner energy.
