Prologue
"Yue-sama!!! Mattekodasai!!"
"Nana! Tell mother and father I'm going out!!"
Yue Sonohara is a Berefice in the land of HOPE. Berefice are very rare to the point that no one can distinguish a Berefice. The only sign that a person is a Berefice is a birthmark. A birthmark that no one knows where it should be and what it looks like. But Yue's foster parents knows right away that she is a Berefice base on her actions. And they confirmed it when they saw the birthmark on her shoulder, a birthmark that looks very unusual.
It looks like a normal birthmark from afar but it looks like a bird if you go near it. The Sonohara couple researched a lot about their foster daughter. But even after knowing that Yue is a Berefice, they still love her and supported her.
"Yue-sama!! Your father has an angry visitor and he wants you to stay in your room"
This cofuse Yue. Why would her father not want her to be seen by that angry visitor of his? Does it have anything to do with her?
"Nana, what does my father's visitor looks like?"
"A fat old man with a goatie of a beard. Why do you ask Yue-sama?"
Yue suddenly remembers something.
"Nana, let me through, I think that old man has some business with me"
"What had occur in your mind Yue-sama?"
"I once judge him and a citizen from Lost ones. It was the Lost one who had been wronged by that old man and he got angry at me for "siding an 18". So obviosly the Lost one was freed for he has done nothing wrong and that old man was exiled from the land of HOPE for his business partners left him and he become a Lemenia."
"Yue-sama!! I think that is the heaviest case you have solved!!"
"Ugh... I know that is why I think that old man's so angry at me because he's the only HOPE who had been exiled in the whole history and he finds it embarassing and disgraceful."
As Yue and her maid continue to talk they suddenly heard her father's angry voice booming in the walls of the mansion.
"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE MY DAUGHTER'S JUDGEMENT TOWARDS YOU!! I KNOW MY DAUGHTER DID THE RIGHT THING AND SHE IS DOING HER PART BEING A BEREFICE!! AND THIS IS MY HOUSE!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO STORM IN IN ANY ROOMS OF MY PROPERTY!! NOW LEAVE BEFORE I DO SOMETHING YOU DON'T WANT TO HAPPEN!!"
Hearing her father's words, Yue immediately went downstairs to talk to the old man.
"Mr. Salvador? Can I talk to you?"
Hearing his daughter's voice he look up the stairs and find his calm and composed posture of his daughter.
"What is it that you want Mr. Salvador? Why did you visit my home?"
"Take back what you said you filthy Berefice!!"
With the old man's statement, Mr. Sonhara's brows furrowed as he felt his anger building up again. But calmed down when Yue speaks.
"I would not take back what I had said back then when I pass my fair judgement. Witnesses states the truth which is the complete opposite to your statement. Your statement have no sense or what so ever. It only shows that you are giving excuses. If you have no other business with me please leave before something bad may happen."
With this, the old man leaves fuming but not before saying something bothersome.
"I WILL KILL YOU!! JUST YOU WAIT SONOHARAS!! YOUR BELOVED DAUGHTER WILL DIE IN THREE DAYS!!"
Three days later, Yue Sonohara has gone missing. The Sonohara couple immediately suspected Mr. Salvador but it turs out he has nothing to do with it.
Yue Sonohara is gone. It's as if she doesn't even exist in the first place. Her name beacome a great topic in history classes.
The land of HOPE rises even further and many Lost ones had died due to the wrong doings of HOPE citizens or I'd rather say monsters on HOPE...
