1 Beginning

Reaper

Since day one I always knew who I am, and I am the Reaper. Well not the main Reaper, just one of many. Many of one, so many, to many to keep track of. Nothing more, nothing less, just all the same. After life comes death, and who else to come to the call. Me, the Reaper, you know the guy one of all the same. However, but I am not the same, I am different and this is my story on how I became, someone else, someone different. One day, I hope this story will help others become someone different. But to know how I change we must start from the beginning, and my beginning starting from the day I was born. But I was born like you were, I wasn't made during the connection of two lovers. I was born, more so reborn after I left the world, and become the next reaper, this happens every ten years or so. Maybe more, maybe less. Time is different here. I don't remember my life before. Or at least I wasn't, until I met her. I was the last one born, and since then there hasn't been anymore. I was told I was born from the Water element. There are four elements to be born from, Fire, Earth, Water and Air. After I was born, I can't remember what happened after.

"Rea, are you in here?" asked Earth Reaper.

"Yes, in here, Sorry I got lost in my thoughts again." I have replied back even though I know what she came in here for.

"Grand Master is wanting your presents." She replied before slipping away. Grand Master of the Earth Element wants to see me, lately all of Grand Masters of elements want to see me. I don't know why all of sudden they want to see me so frequently.

"Grand Master?" I asked before I entered the Grand Hall. Grand Hall is where all the Grandmasters meet, and discuss important matters or so I am told.

"Ah, Rea I am so glad to see you," Grand Master announced.

"Rea, What took so long?" demanded Dawnbreaker.

"Dawanbreaker, that's quite enough out of you," replied Luna, without even looking at her direction. As I stood there, completely dazed. Bliss finally spoke.

"Rea, we are sending you to the land of the Dust Fairies, as it is time to find your other half." said Bliss without skipping a beat.

"But only the Grandmasters, find their other halves, why am I being sent to find mine?" I question.

All of them at once replied with, "Before the Eclipse ends there will be a new element born." Before, I could ask anything else, like always I was rushed out of the Grand hall. I might have over packed, however no one has ever gone to land of the Dust Fairies. Meeting my other half, another element, everything is just so overwhelming. There is less than a year left until Eclipse happens. And traveling just to get there will take half of the time. Walking is longer, I have been walking for the past week, I am losing my mind. I miss my old desk job, yes I did say desk job, my job before I got to bring the souls to the other side. Have to, need to keep moving. Keep moving.

"Hello, are you awake," said Someone.

"What is this Reaper doing out here?" asked another. Once again I blacked out. I don't know how long I was out, could have been minutes, hours, days, weeks, months. Even then, I still was blacking in and out. When I finally I awoke, I came face to face with Dust Fairy. She doesn't look like the fairies I read from my books. But the dust like substance coming from her long black hair tells me else wise. Every thing about her is strange. From her gray pale skin, to her purple eyes. Her skin and eyes matches like mine. But we are different, how can that be. "My name is Rea," I spoke, not knowing what expect.

"My name is Thea, What are you doing here?" Thea Demanded.

"I am looking for the Land of the Dust Fairies," I responded.

"Well, Welcome to Land of fairies with no element," Thea replied while she bowed.

"What do you mean without a element everyone is born into a element?" I asked.

"It means, I don't have a element, I was born differently, Grand masters in dust fairies, told me that one day I will create a new element. However they never told me when or how. So here I am waiting for that to happen," She replied and walk out of the hut. But before she completely left, she turn to me and told me to change into the clothes on the desk next to me, it will help from the energies around us.
