The greatest hunter 4-3

Her mind was like a still lake, no disturbances whatsoever affected her extremely vivid daydream. Bits of her memories were projected into her mind and she watched them comfortably as if she was in a massive movie theater alone with popcorn at hand.

(ah.. I remember getting my first stylus, drawing with my fingers was such a pain) she gleefully thought

The earthquakes intensity grew large, not only that but the space inside seemed to distort in image, similar to how a blackhole distorts its surrounding area. Her Mana also began to go crazy but even after all that she was still day dreaming her memories without a much care for her surroundings.

(sorry... I should've done better...)

...

...

Suddenly, a humming noise snapped her back to reality. Her expression a bit wider than usual as what she saw was a cave system that was way different than the one she was just at a few seconds ago.

(hmm?)

Without a second thought she began searching for a way outside which didn't took her long to do it.

"this..." she mumbled in disbelief

She was right one the side of a mountain overlooking a massive plains of grass, the sky was painted in a deep blue to purple and orange. The cold breeze woke her up even more, along with breathing air that was clean and fresh. Lara stared at the painting like landscape till her body was hit with a familiar feeling and her body reacted immediately.

As one of the top hunters she clearly saw the mana beyond the horizons, she saw cracks and ripples of Mana moving throughout the skies in the distance.

(there's a fight.... It looks like the mana presence of the other person is dying)

*boom*

In an instant she released her Mana and made a quick jump towards the fight, the floor she once stood on became nothing more than dust because of the power behind that jump.

She flew like a speeding bullet and the sonic boom generated disrupted the herd of animals grazing on the field while the flocks of bird suddenly flew in shock.

(shit... This beast won't flinch even if I strike it with all I got) the man thought as he bled from the side of his stomach

A man stood alone, wearing a magnificent silver armor that almost sparkled despite the damages it took, in his hand was a two handed longsword that was almost beyond repair as it was bent and its edge practically gone.

The atmosphere of the battlefield was filled with dust and debris scattered around, even if you squinted your eyes you wouldn't have been able to see what was Infront of you but even so, he didn't need his eyes to see that there was a massive presence of Mana Infront of him.

Beyond all the dust and smoke, you could barely make out a silhouette of a massive dragon and slowly it expanded its wings, each were the size of a small cruise ship, just the tiny movement of those monstrous wings alone teared through the air like butter.

With a massive burst of energy it flew to the skies, blowing away all the dust and smoke in the process, the dragon slowly went up and up as it slowly gained momentum like a rocket ship taking off, but it wasn't only that, the winds quickly picked up speed as it gained hurricane like power becuase of the powerful flaps of the dragon's wings.

(damn, now its flying? It's ganna finish me off..)

The dragon's neck glowed in a dark crimson color as it's eyes burned like the sun, flaming arcs formed from its mouth and the surrounding Mana became extremely suffocating due to the sheer concentration of Mana that the dragon was building up.

The man shivered as his very own mana shook due to the mana build up from the dragon, regardless he gripped his sword even tighter despite having no plans for a counter attack, let alone surviving the impending doom before him.

"..... here it comes- !!???

A streak of light quickly appeared and dissappeared in a split second, following that was a knight gracefully landing In front of him.

As she sheathed her claymore, the massive and now headless corpse of the dragon fell behind her like a mountain crashing down. Just in time for day to finally break as the sun began to arise behind her, Lara looked at the man who was dumbfounded by her appearance.

She inspected the man, looking at him from head to toe. White hair and topaz like eyes, and quite...

(he's quite handsome...)
