15 Mana storing magic?

"Nice to meet you, my name is Kaji, and I'm a new employee of the magic clown mansion." Kaji said with a straight face.

"Why are you here?" The spirit asked.

Beatrice could have closed the door with magic, making him be unable to find her, but because it was a child she didn't do so. She was a bit surprised by the sheer amount of mana flowing through the boy's body. She didn't really care that he insulted Roswall, by calling the man a magic clown, after all, it was true in a way.

"I'm here because I need your assistance in a certain matter, I would be grateful if you could spare me some of your time." Kaji said while bowing his head a bit in her direction.

"I can do that, but you will have to give me something in exchange, I suppose." She said while looking at the boy.

"That's fine, can I enter the forbidden library now?" He asked, he wasn't dumb enough to actually enter the library that was protected by the artificial spirit. He asked for permission while staying at the doorstep without stepping inside.

Beatrice looked at the boy and nodded. "You can enter I suppose." The loli said.

Kaji stepped forward and looked around, he didn't expect the forbidden library to be so vast, he could only see books shells filled with books in every direction it seemed never-ending. But he didn't look around long, he stepped towards the girl sitting on a chair, while an open book was in her hands. Of course, he didn't forget to close the door behind him, while entering, it wouldn't be good if others overheard him. After all, this conversation might cause a misunderstanding, if someone overheard him.

"Alright, I'll go straight to the point. Do you know where I could find, buy or get an item or a stone that could store mana inside it?" Kaji asked her.

"There are stones that can store mana, but why would you need something like that, I suppose?" Beatrice asked him.

"I want to try, and use them to store mana so it could be used later on." Kaji said.

"If that's what you want, there's no reason to search for stones, you could just create a magic storage for mana, I suppose." She said while looking at him like he was stupid.

Hearing her words Kaji felt really stupid, after all, he could create a separate storage to accumulate mana over time, he could even create a spell that would suck the mana out of the air around him. He didn't know why he didn't think about it before but he was thankful to Beatrice for pointing out something I should have thought about.

"Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!" He bowed to the girl while his mind was going in overdrive to think of a spell he could create.

"Hmm, you're welcome, I suppose." She said while showing a small smile.

After giving some of his mana to the spirit as compensation for her time, Kaji went out of the library. Beatrice looked at the boy leaving, she was thinking why didn't the boy ask her what spell it was or how to cast it, after all, even if a spell of this kind could only store a small amount of man. Even her mother, the witch of greed, couldn't increase the capacity, so why was the kid looking so happy all of a sudden. She could have thought about the boy more but she didn't bother and returned to reading her book.

After Kaji left the library, he hurried to his room so he could concentrate, he didn't bother with anything else, as his mind was occupied by new magic spells. After a couple of minutes, he was in his room, he found some ink and smiled, it was time to create a storage for mana. He started chanting words that no one could have understood, after he was done he picked up the bottle of ink and poured it on himself.

After everything was done Kaji had some tattoos on his body, Black colored one covered his wrists, they looked like circles made of flames. While one more was on his neck it looked like some sort of black necklace. Kaji had created black tattoos on his body, which will absorb mana from him and form the air around him. Now all he needed to do was wait for them to absorb enough mana, for him to travel to another world.

While he was at it he removed the contract spell he had with Roswall, He actually transferred it on a rock so the clown didn't notice. He was able to do so many things, just because he had adaptive magic, he was really happy that he picked this instead of anything else, after all, in this world everyone who used magic needed to chant words and they had to follow the laws of magic. But he didn't, after all, it was all possible because of his skills, he was able to create any type of magic he needed or wanted, and he could comprehend it too because of adaptive Learning. If only he realized how broken his skills truly are, he could have saved his village, but now there was nothing he could do.

After calming down his rising excitement, Kaji went out to do the rest of his work while smiling. And this was only the beginning of his journey.
