Breaking the loop

"Wake up, you lazy pig! Emilia-Sama has returned, and she brought a guest with her. Tanuki, you have a lot of work to do."

His clothes drenched with water, Tanaka looked at Ram in confusion. He shifted his gaze towards his desk, the system that allowed him to recharge his phone was still there.

Tanaka sprang up from the bed like a startled cat and rushed to the window, greeted by the warm rays of sunshine. He spun around to face Ram, a bewildered expression on his face." Hey, today is not the first time meeting you right?"

Ram tilted her head, with her usual indifferent expression," Did Tanuki hit his head or something? Quit wasting Ram's time and get dressed up, we have a lot of work today."

Repeating her order for one last time, Ram exited the room leaving him pondering in his thoughts.

Kazuki Tanaka didn't leap again in time.

'Why?' That's the first question that came to Tanaka's mind, he wasn't complaining but he was just curious.

In any case he was relieved that he's able to see the next day, if by any chance the loop thing kept going with his exhausted physical state adding to that the accumulation of mental stress without any signs of it stopping, he might consider ending it.

'Okay, let's not get back to those dark high school days'

Shaking off his suicidal thoughts, Tanaka picked himself up and wore his butler outfit. Regardless of the current situation, he still has to work.

Leaving his room behind, heading downstairs in order to meet with the other two maids. As he was walking down the hallway, he spotted two figures which he wasn't familiar with, as he approached them the appearance became more clear.

The first figure was a stunning lady with long silver hair cascading down her back. Her eyes held a captivating hue of purple-blue. She wore a combination of white and purple attire, and a white flower accessory nestled delicately in her hair.

The second figure Facing her seemed to be a child, a small girl, appearing to be around eleven or twelve years old. Her pale cream blonde hair flowed down in long waves, fashioned into playful twin tails that resembled frilly vertical drills.

'Wow, everyone here looks so odd to the point where it makes me look like the unusual one'. With his typical Japanese traits, he had slightly messy, shoulder-length hair and deep, expressive black eyes. Standing at a height of 178cm, he possessed a moderate stature amidst the unique assembly before him.

As Tanaka approached, he couldn't help but overhear the heated argument between the two individuals.

"Hey Beatrice, why did you do that to Subaru? He is my savior, you know." The silver-haired lady, who seemed concerned, addressed the blonde little girl named Beatrice.

Blonde little girl: "That has nothing to do with Betty, that annoying man is the one who entered Betty's library without permission, I suppose."

The silver-haired lady: "that doesn't make it right to.."

Before the white-haired lady could continue, her sentence was abruptly cut off as they both noticed Tanaka's presence. There was a moment of hesitation as they glanced at each other, unsure of how to react. Finally, the white-haired lady spoke up.

White-haired lady: "Um, hello. Who are you?"

Tanaka, maintaining his composure, responded politely, "Hello, my name is Kazuki Tanaka, I'm a new butler here and I just got hired yesterday." He then added, "And you are?"

The girl was momentarily taken aback by his answer, but she quickly responded, "My name is Emilia."

'This is the Emilia that Ram mentioned.' Trying to recall his conversations with Ram regarding Emilia, Tanaka crossed his arms. But his train of thoughts was cut by the little blonde haired girl comment whose name was Beatrice.

Beatrice: "Great, another bug with a weird name."

Tanaka, feeling triggered by her remark, couldn't help but retort, "What's up with this cocky brat? A lost child, perhaps?"

During his life Tanaka had a lot of ups and downs. But he would never fall as low to the point where he would let a little brat he just met mock him, in fact he doesn't let anyone get the better of him without showing a bit of resistance.

His words shocked both of them as Tanaka's unexpected response caught them off guard, especially the little girl who had a deep frown on her face, "What a rude human I suppose, Betty is far older than a human like you."

Tanaka: "Your words aren't convincing anyone, and my birth certificate will say otherwise."

As Beatrice's eyebrow twitched in response to Tanaka's behavior, she began extending her hand, ready to teach him a lesson. However, Emilia swiftly intervened, calling out to Beatrice with a stern tone.

Emilia: "Beatrice!"

Beatrice halted her actions upon hearing Emilia's voice, reluctantly retracting her hand. With a huff, she turned away and started walking.

Beatrice: "Hmph! Betty is busy and doesn't have time to play with you, so I will let you off this time I suppose."

Tanaka, not one to back down, couldn't resist adding a sarcastic remark as Beatrice walked away.

Tanaka: "Yes, good kid I suppose. Study hard, and maybe I'll consider playing with you later."

His comment hung in the air as Beatrice continued on her way, leaving behind a mix of annoyance and curiosity.

With Emilia and Tanaka now alone in the hallway, Emilia let out a heavy sigh, still recovering from the surprise encounter with Beatrice.

Emilia: "Hah, that really surprised me. You shouldn't provoke Beatrice like that. She can be quite scary when she's angry."

Tanaka smirked and shrugged nonchalantly.

Tanaka: "Oh, don't worry about me. I can handle a little mischief. Besides, kids shouldn't be spoiled too much. I have a sister around her age, and she's adorable, smart, and respectful to her elders."

Emilia couldn't help but chuckle at Tanaka's praise for his sister, her beautiful smile momentarily catching him off guard. It was an unexpected reaction, but he took it in stride.

Tanaka: "Well, she definitely has her moments. Anyway, do you happen to know where Ram and Rem are? It's only my second day, so they can guide me."

Emilia nodded in response, her silver hair swaying gently.

Emilia: "They are waiting in the guest room to greet him as soon as he wakes up. I was actually heading there myself. If you'd like, you can come with me."

Tanaka smiled, appreciating the offer.

Tanaka: "Yeah sure."

As they continued walking, Emilia brought up a topic.

Emilia: "Um, should I address you as Tanaka-San?"

Tanaka: "Tanaka is enough. I'm just a butler."

Emilia hesitated for a moment, her eyes darting to the side as she seemed to gather her thoughts.

'Is she feeling shy?' Tanaka wondered, observing her subtle struggle.

Emilia: "Well then, Tanaka, I would appreciate it if you called me Emilia without any honorifics. Just Emilia would be fine."

Tanaka nodded with a small smile.

Tanaka: "No problem, Emilia."

Despite the peculiarities of this place and the encounters he had, she was probably the most normal person he has met since his arrival to this mansion. It was a breath of fresh air in this

As they proceeded down the hallway, Emilia suddenly came to a stop in front of a particular room.

Emilia: "This is the room. Ram and Rem are inside, Let's go in."

As they were about to enter the guest room, strange noises reached their ears, causing them to hesitate. The voices were a bizarre mix of desperation and humor.

[???]: "Oh no. I'm currently being indecently humiliated in our dear guest's head, Sister."

[???]: "Oh no. I'm being violated right now in the head of our dear guest, Rem."

[???]: "Don't underestimate my mental capacity. You're both fodder for my fantasies, ladies."

[???]: "Please forgive me, dear guest. Just let Rem go and go defile Sister."

[???]: "Please don't do it, dear guest. You can let Ram go and defile Rem instead."

[???]: "What kind of sisterhood is that?! Selling each other out and making me look like some kind of evil villain?!"

A look of confusion crossed Tanaka's face. Emilia, on the other hand, wore a visibly surprised expression. Sensing their curiosity, Emilia took the initiative and pushed open the door. With a thump, the door swung open, revealing an unexpected and rather chaotic scene before them.

Inside the room, Ram and Rem were frantically running in circles, while a figure with black hair, noticeably taller than the maids, chased after them. The chaos unfolding before them was both amusing and bewildering.

Emilia couldn't help but express her exasperation.

Emilia: "Couldn't you have woken up more quietly, Subaru?"

Just then, the silver haired girl who had softly knocked on the door earlier stepped into the room. She glanced at the three of them from the doorway, observing the scene with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

As their eyes met, Tanaka and Subaru both screamed in realization, pointing at each other with shock and disbelief. The sudden outburst of their screams caught everyone in the room off guard.

Tanaka: "Aaaaaaaaaa!"

Subaru: "Aaaaaaaaaa!"

Tanaka's voice carried a mix of surprise and irritation. His expressionless face briefly contorted with a mixture of frustration and recognition.

Tanaka: "You're that dropout brat!"

Subaru's voice was filled with a mix of astonishment and annoyance as well.

Subaru: "You're that delinquent who works at the convenience store!"
