Twenty-First Date: The Tale Of The Demon Ancestor

"Eons ago, when the world was first created, there was only heavens and all souls will be sent to heaven whether they are evil or good.", Bai Hua began.

" A young boy named Li Xiao Yao, who was raised by a family of a mother who is a con-artist and a father who is a master thief, wanted to walk the path of cultivation and went to heaven to live the life of a god. Even though his parents are criminals, the Xiao Yao didn't get affected by their influence. When his parents saw this, they immediately know that there is no way their son can be a criminal like them, but instead maybe..just maybe he can have a normal life without being afraid of being captured or killed everyday. One day, a daoist visited the village where Xiao Yao's family live and saw that the boy has the potential to cultivate the path of immortal. The daoist then ask Xiao Yao's parent if he can take the boy as a disciple, they ofcourse agree immediately. Xiao Yao's life has began to change from that day.", she continued.

"Although he started off as the weakest disciple, Xiao Yao's effort in his training has not betray his master's expectation. Within one year he was able to become an inner disciple of Sword God Sect and two years later he was able to become an inheritance disciple, the highest and most respected position a disciple can have. This position means that he is a candidate to become the next Sect Master. The rule of the sect state that an inheritance disciple must spend 1 year in the world erasing evil in the name of the sect and the one with the most contributions and reputation will be chosen to be the next Sect Leader. The boy, who was 16 at that time, went down the mountain and walked the world eradicating evil like his master order. In his path, he met different types of people. He help the one that needed help and killed all of the one that contaminated this world with their sins. Some was thankful to Xiao Yao, but some fear him due to him being so emotionaless when he's taking someone life. Even though Xiao Yao know what some think about him, he doesn't care because he know that as long as he still has some kindness in his heart then there's no way he'll walk the wrong the path. After one year, Xiao Yao returns to the Sword God Sect and get chosen as the new Sect Leader. No one oppose the former Sect Leader since he earned this fair and square. The boy then cultivate for hundreds of years while raising the sect name as he go. When he reach the stage of immortal, Sword God Sect was the number one sect in the entire continent. The Heavenly Emperor has seen all his great deeds so he decided to appoint Xiao Yao as Heaven first God Of War." Bai Hua said.

"Wait so our great Demon Ancestor was once a God?", I interrupted.

"Yes he was. He was the greatest god who is loved and worshipped by many, but this came with a cost. Many gods was jealous of his talent and reputation and wanted him to dissappear. That is why he doesn't have any friends except for the Goddess Of The Moon. Not only is she beautiful, she is also kind and caring. It was obvious that they have feelings for each other so the Heavenly Emperor decides to arrange marriage them. Both of the happily agree and got married. They soon have a son whom he named Li Wang Lang. Wang Lang was talented like his father so the Heavenly Emperor decides to appoint him as the next God Of War if something happened to Xiao Yao. Since the emperor doesn't have any relative himself, he saw Xiao Yao as his own family and decides to appoint him as the next Heavenly Emperor. The other gods, ofcourse, didn't agree to this so they plot a plan with all the evil souls that has been sent to Heaven. They told the evil souls that if they killed the God Of War family then they'll help the soul earn a position in Heaven. Due to their evil and greedy nature, all those souls agreed to committ this unforgivable sin. The gods first told the Heavenly Emperor that the Mortal Realm has been contaminated by evils so they recommended the God Of War to go and eradicate the sinners since he is the strongest god in the entire Heaven. The Heavenly Emperor doesn't have any suspicion toward them since they have been so kind to Xiao Yao lately. Under the emperor's order, Xiao Yao once again walked the Mortal Realm to eradicate the one that contaminated this world, yet he didn't know that this was part of the scheme that other gods set up. That night when Xiao Yao left Heaven, the gods sent all the sinners to the palace where the Goddesss Of The Moon and Wang Lang resides and murder them. The sinners couldn't beat the goddess and her son, but they were just scapegoats. The God Of The Night, the mastermind of the scheme, stabbed The Moon Goddess from behind and killed her. Wang Lang know that he wasn't a match for The Night God, but out of anger, he attacked the Night God with all his powers. The Night God easily reflect Wang Lang's attack and killed him. The following day, The Night God report that some of the sinners went out of control and went to murder Xiao Yao's family. The Heavenly Emperor couldn't believe it and sent the God Of Nature to investigate for him. The Night God knew that he needs to cover his tract since investigating is the God Of Nature best skills. He then capture the God Of Nature's family and use them as hostages. The Night God threatened that if the Nature God leaks out anything about the murder or else he'll kill his family. Having no choice, the Nature God lied to the Heavenly Emperor about the murder and the case was close. When Xiao Yao return from his mission, the Heavenly Emperor told him about the death of his family and Xiao Yao was both in pain and anger. He didn't believe that this murder was cause by the sinners alone so he secretly investigate without letting anyone know. He approach many sinners and interrogate them. If they lied to him he would immediately cut off their head. From tens to hundreds and thousands of heads has fall during his investigation. He killed and killed and killed until he reach the last sinner who told him that it was the Night God that order them to kill the God Of War's family and how the Night God threatened the Nature God to hide the truth. He smiled and cut off the sinner's head, but he wasn't aware that someone else was there. It was the God Of Fire, one of the gods that participate in the murder of Xiao Yao's family. The Fire God then report to the Night God and the other gods that participate in the murder and all of them were afraid. Before they could do anything, Xiao Yao kick down the door of the Night God's palace and gave each of the gods a slow and painful death especially the Night God. The emperor has heard this and immediately went to stop Xiao Yao, before he murder anymore Gods and bring unbalance to the two realms. When the emperor arrive with the rest of the gods, Xiao Yao has already accomplished his revenge his sword was dye in blood of the immortals. He then turned and saw the Nature God and immediately rushed toward to killed him. The Heavenly Emperor then sent a few low-grade gods and sinners to block Xiao Yao path but all of the ended up dying in his hand. Xiao Yao finally slaughtering every soldiers and Gods that the Heavenly Emperor brought and cut off Nature God's head. This has finished his revenge. He then told the emperor that it is unfair to let the one with the evil heart stay in heaven so they need a place where they have to be punished for their sins and he know that a god killing other gods is a sin as well and this means that what inside of him right now is also consider evil. So he gather all his energy and release the amount of black cloud inside his body and some of his magic to create a third realm where the sinners could be punished, this was later known as The UnderWorld Realm. Xiao Yao then cast himself out of Heaven along with all of the remaining sinners in Heavens and brought them to his new realm and became the First Demon God and The Creator Of The Underworld. As for me, I was the sword he used to killed people and gods during his young days and time as the God Of War so I myself was contaminated with the black clouds that are release from them. He then later named the sword Twilight, which remind him that I was the only light by his side when his world became dark. He also so named me, the sword spirit, Bai Hua which means white flower and this flower represent death. Since he became someone new he decides to give himself a new name. He called himself Salamander Von Devil. Salamander is suppose to represent a Dragon and Devil is what he called his race. From that day on, all of the one who committed great sins was sent to the UnderWorld. The ones that still hold grudges in their heart eventually got possess by the black clouds and loses their mind and became what you now know as demons and the one that want to make up for their sins and wish to stay in the underworld to help guide and punished souls became what you now know as Reapers. The black clouds is later called Demonic Qi by Salamander because they are what created the demon and the evil in a person's heart. As you may already know, Salamander later created two more powerful relics. They are Eclipse and Blood Moon. The reason why all his powerful relics named are related to the moon is because he couldn't forget about his wife. It was her that gave him the idea to create these two relics. And you know the rest.", Bai Hua ended.

"I..I didn't know that the old man's life was so tragic.", I said as tears are falling down from my eyes.

"Now that you know his past, its time for us to save him. Time to wake up, leave this hospital, and take back Blood moon. You will need it to beat Raphael.", she replied.

After she wave her arm, my eyes opened and I was at the hospital again and it seems that the absorping the Qi from the sword has help me recovered. Time to do some smashing to get out. I reach for the emergency button and press it. :)
