"Yoona there's something wrong with Morris's condition!!!" Alerted by Gale's voice the two of them saw a large amount of mana surging directly into his palms

By combining the two separate elemental spells that reside within his hand he releases its power which results in a loud bang. It was loud and even powerful to boot, the noise could be heard from a mile away and seen as an explosion from afar 

"What did that idiot just do!!?" Shin along with the rest had their ears ringing for a second. Whilst they saw a such horrific sight to behold

The smoke had finally dispersed in the area which revealed the corpses of the infected ripped apart. Three individuals were stunned at what they'd seen, an ambush that could've killed them was instantly wiped out. A spell originating from Morris who resided in the center of the crater was badly wounded in the process. He tries to stand back on his feet to avail, but his hands suffer a major injury, his right hand was burnt. And the left one was fried until both of them had the smell of a perfectly cooked flesh

"Graaahhhhhh!!!!!" The crater grew so much larger than it was before, and an explosion that came from Morris's body. The worst thing that his deity warned him to have occurred has become now his present matter. When he received such a horrific sensation that came from his chosen outcome

'Shit, it stings my body's burning up from the mp recoil, what's that you may ask? imagine that in this world a magician is like a walking mortar. This is the reason why why I didn't want to use magic even if it was powerful, if I use too much I'll be comparable to a suicidal maniac,'

"Morris, don't worry~~~," His eyes were in perfect condition, however, the explosion made it harder for him to hear. Whilst he slowly realizes that his vision is blacking out, the pain that plagued his body was disappearing 

'Huh, my visions fading away…? I can't hear them what are the hell are they talking about…? Forget it, I'm too injured I don't care anymore…! There's no reason for something like this to occur, it might be a simple guess but I can bet on the outcome,'

He noticed that his vision turned black until a light flashed before him, he saw a familiar place. Which made him assume he currently has a lucid dream about his childhood. Since this place was a playground of his childhood home, he wasn't able to move his body with his thoughts. The strangest part was the fact that it moves on its own, he guesses it was reenacting his previous movements 

'I'm dreaming? When was the last time I had a dream concerning my past? This playground is the one that was close to my house when I was a kid!!? I wonder what I'm doing here, don't tell me I have that sort of past!!? A scene in every novel where I will make a promise to a childhood friend? Now that I'm thinking about it, that sounds like a luxury, I'm too much of a loser and a sickly brat to ever have one. There's no chance, let's just enjoy this dream of mine,'

He shut his mouth and enjoyed the soothing dream. He can only see and hear the things that are happening but he can't act as he desires. It felt like he was possessing his body, whilst it acted without his permission. Looking back he never remembered any kind of memory like the one he's currently dreaming about. He was curious to know more after his body walked for a long time. Which led him to view a crying child

"What's wrong, why are you sad?" His body said as he never remembered anything like this in his memories

Soon as the child sees the young Christoper Morris, a smile is seen that changes the child's sorrowful mood. Into a bright and cheerful expression, seconds pass and the child jumps at Morris's young body. Landing on top of him before it uttered a single word

"You came back I thought you would have forgotten about our promise," The child said while Morris's head started aching again and again

'It's you, you're the one who's making my head, like this!!!! Who the fuck are you!!!'

His voice couldn't reach the child, he could only gaze at the sight of the child whilst it constantly repeated the words. That gave rise to his headache until he woke up in bed. A different atmosphere, environment and to make it worse his body was butt naked. He never had any recollection of his current situation, and wanting to unravel the mystery he stands up. He forced his injured body to move whilst he feels a surge of pain that rises back when he awakened

"Argh, my body's aching, I need to know where I am," His deity steps in and interfered him from taking another step

Suddenly, his body flew up into the air, unable to react to what was happening. His body regained its weight when he arrived on the surface of his bed only for his weight to increase. It was to the extent of making him powerless to struggle, and later on when he tires himself out. He accepted his condition while his deity spoke when he finally accepted his fate

"Where are they…? I need to look for them, where's Yoona and the rest," He said whilst checking his status

There was a pitcher filled with water which she dropped when she simply overheard Morris's lies. She quickly left after the fear of being caught had risen from her mind, and she slowly stood back up. And fled before he would notice her presence
