'It looks like I died... My name was Aaron White. I was an architect for over 5 decades, and a good one at that... I had a family with 2 kids, with my loving wife. A boy and a girl, with both being twins, whom I loved endlessly... I brought them up as best as I could or any father would, and I lived to see it with wonderful grandchildren. So, my life was good, and I was more than content... But now, as I'm speaking. I don't feel an inkling of any emotion. I don't even know why I'm saying this...' I thought...
-That is to be expected... But you are a special case... Welcome, human. I am what you would call 'god' or, in this case, 'ROB'-
I heard an overpowering voice echo into the infinite void that I was residing in. But, I felt as if I had to respond to it...
"... god? ROB? So you exist... That's fascinating... I did believe, but to know you were real, is good news... I think... Why would you want to meet such worthless being like me?" I said.
-Yes, of course I exist. Do you think such a complex being such as yourself appeared from nothing or anything else? And to answer your second question. Think of it as me wanting to give a gift of sorts, and you were lucky enough to get chosen...
I listened, and ROB, as I had called him, he had a point. However, his second reply had me curious...
"True... but, if I may ask, what do you mean by 'gifts'?" I had asked, genuinely curious.
-Well. You get to make wishes, 5 in fact, because of how well you lived-
When ROB stated this, it surprised me...
"...So that means I can wish for anything?"
-Indeed, other than all the big o's, of course, then yes. I'll also be adding to them where I deem fit, if the wish is alright, I'll leave it, if it's too powerful, I'll intervene...-
With that information given I had to think for a bit... What would I wish for here... It could be almost anything. After a bit of thinking. I wanted to wish my bloodline with prosperity...
However, as I was about to say something, ROB countered.
-That isn't possible... Your wishes cannot be transferred to your old reality... however, I can protect your family a bit more since you are considerate of them in a situation like this...-
It seems that would be the best that I can get. I'll make the wishes...
In my old life, I loved comics and manga, so why not live a super powered life in this one?
However, there was always one manga series that bothered me to ends I never thought possible... It was 'wolf-guy'. A series of a half-breed, human-werewolf hybrid. Named Akira Inugami. A young boy who lived a tragic life in his early years... That's where I will stop. The story is too dark and gritty to get into...
However, my main reason for choosing it came from, how it ended. With Inugami in a pitiful state, separate from the only woman he ever loved...
But with my powers, maybe I can lead that life better... Now, I was ready...
"For my first wish. I want a system similar to that of the gamer's own. However, catered towards the evolution of a werewolf..." I stated.
-...This wish can be done, but you will have to sacrifice a feature of the regular 'gamer' to add what you want, so what will it be?-
I was now faced with a bit of a dilemma... but if one feature had to go, it would be the shop feature with the things I wanted to do. So, I didn't need it...
"...I will remove the 'shop' function." I stated.
-Okay, next wish-
"Hmmm... I want to be reincarnated into the world of 'wolf-guy' as Akira." I finished.
-...A peculiar reality... one with enough mystery to keep you surprised, yet a tough world to strive in... This wish can be done. However, I'll be putting my own twists on it with what comes after the manga... Next wish-
After hearing what Rob had to say, I thought keenly about what I wanted next. Only one thing came to my mind.
"I want to have extreme talent, regarding the growth of my intellect and physical prowess." I finished.
-...Interesting... a simple wish, however the most said increase can be, is 15x faster than the average human regarding intellect, however physically, it will be at most 3x faster. Next-
I could accept that, with the system having to give me infinite potential from what I remember, I can boost my training gains to not be weak in comparison to a regular human, or when I will be vulnerable in my human form/state...
I didn't really know where to go for this next wish, but I remembered a key detail from that story... it was age, rather a limited life
"I want immortality for my fourth wish..." I asked.
-That cannot be granted. This is for the sake of the system keeping the penalty and risks relevant. However, I can give you both eternal youth and greater vitality as an offset.-
That was unfortunate... but it would have to do... Now for my last wish... I had no clue what to do with it...
Until, It hit me. Akira in the manga doesn't have wilful transformations of his own. That would be the perfect wish.
"I wish for absolute control over any transformation I may have in the future, in regards to willing activation as well." I asked. However, a part of me had a feeling that this would have its own balance...
-A smart wish... however, your 'evolutions' will need quintuple the EXP to acquire as result. It wouldn't be fun without a bit of challenge...- Rob stated.
"I... can live with that. It should be a fun experience. I hope... By the way ROB, it is okay if I ask you to remove memories regarding my family and friends of my past life? I don't want to hold on to any attachments." I asked.
-...Sure, I will think of this as a personal request. Is there anything else you may want before I send you off?- ROB asked.
"Yeah, is it possible for me to create how I look like/as Akira in my new life?" I asked.
-You may... I will be sending you to a place where you can customize your appearance. However, keep in mind that you must use Akira as a template. You will know what I mean once you get there... information on how to use the customizer will be transferred to your mind. Good luck, Aaron...- ROB stated, instantly teleporting me to a white space.
In the next moment, I received information on what to do here. So I got to work...
I already had an idea with whom I want to choose for my other character to fuse Akira with...
And that person was Raizel from noblesse. Immediately, I got to work. I clicked and searched for both, fusing them together, to create, 'Raizel Inugami'. He took most of Raizel's features, but kept some of Akira's features. Essentially, he was ridiculously handsome, the pretty kind, but not the one I wanted for myself...
"...How do I want to approach this?.."
Since his chin is too small, so I need to widen and square it a bit, but enough to make it angular, like Raizel's. Then I sharpened his jawline, matching Raizel's own, as well as his nose. I kept Inugami's lips and high cheekbone, since I didn't see an issue with those...
I kept the eyebrows and eye shape the same as Inugami's and changed his eye colour from red to a sun kissed brown/honey brown. I kept the hair the same; it was a bit of both worlds since wasn't as smooth as raizel's own but it kept the length, i had the wildness of Akira's own, keeping the bangs
For his height, I changed it from 180 cm to 190 cm since that was my old height. With that, everything was finished.
I clicked on the finished button. As I pressed it. My consciousness slowly fading...
