Just as i said that a river king suddenly jumped out of the river and started attacking Esdeath!

ESDEATH retreated behind me.
"ALRIGHT YA BASTARD ITS TIME TO TEST OUT MY NEW WATER MAGIC!"
"BASIC WATER MAGIC AND BASIC WATER SHOT!"
Both skills appeared above me as lumps of blue light easily combining together and creating a stronger Water Shot, firing straight towards the River King. The Magic Water Shot flying as fast as the wing hit the River King right in the middle of its head killing it in one shot!
"YESSAH! HEADSHOT LETS GO! That's what you get for trying to eat my future wife!"
ESDEATH looked confused at the wife part.
"Cough cough"

Before I could even check her stats, two more river kings jumped out!
What? What's wrong with these bastards? They all want to die and rebel against me, the River King?!
Two powerful Magic Water Shots later the two River Kings bodies fell to the ground motionless.

"Hmph that's what you get for disobeying your king losers!"
After the commotion, another River King came out, this one was the biggest that I have seen! It was completely covered in bright orange scales, it had two very long whiskers, a strong pair of muscular limbs, and a beautiful crest-like fin on its back. It looked fierce and angry!
"Oh? Are you the final boss of this River? The King of Kings! I'll call you River Emperor! Alright! Bring it on!"
As if enraged by my provocation the River Emperor activated all his active buffs and boosted his stat to the sky! An incredible pressure affected us, as I looked down the River Emperors' body had almost doubled in size and his entire body was covered in muscles and veins!
「Gluuuooooooooohh!」
In a mere second, the River Emperor disappeared out of my sight!
「What?! Where did it go? How can it be so fast?」
A second after I felt a strong force strike me in the back! It was the River Emperor with a sneak attack, it sent me flying directly into an old tree. The strong force of my crash split the tree in half.
「Gyaaaaahhh!」
The strong attack made me cough out blood!
「This is bad! This guy is completely in another league! If it wasn't for my Water Magic Armor I would have been dead!ESDEATH ! Distract him while I cast a strong Water spell!」
Esdeath began to consume a large amount of stamina to increase its speed by almost twice! Its incredible speed surprised the Emperor.ESDEATH , using its full speed created after images surrounding the Emperor confusing the gigantic walking fish. The fish wasn't able to even land a hit on esdeath at its full speed! Taking advantage of this esdeathstarted to fire water bullets from all directions!
「GUUU!」
Blood started to shoot out of the River Emperor's body while it yelled in pain.
「Gluoooooh!」
"Well done! Hang in there for a little longerEsdeath! I'm almost… Ready…!"
While esdeath distracted the Emperor, I tried to make a concentration of spells instead of firing them right away. Due to this, a big concentration of water accumulated over my head, I used almost all of my MP and but I was sure that this single attack would one-shot the River Emperor!
"Hehehehe! I'll show you how much I have improved this week! Combining Basic Water Elemental Magic, Basic Water Manipulation and Water Shot!"
I began to shape the big mass of water into a long stick with a sharp end.
「I will call it… Water Spear!」
Cutting through the air the gigantic water spear was shot from over my head, it's power was of atleast 40 water bullets and it cost Al of my mana.
if I didn't kill the River Emperor right now I would be completely dead! Thankfully the water spear went right through its head, cutting it in half! The water spear was so strong that it kept destroying the trees ahead of me for at least 50 meters.

"Phew! We did it esdeath! It cost me all of my mana but we did it! Eh? ESDEATH where are you?!"
After not seeing esdeath alucard started yelling trying to find out where she is.
But soon I found her, she was off doing something by herself, I'm not too sure on what but I'll let her keep it to herself.
"Ahh! You scared me don't do it again!" I started to rub her head messing her little hair up a little
ESDEATH started to enjoy my rub.
I picked up the River emperors body and started to head back to my home, with esdeath in tow. ESDEATH looked at the trash place I have and I felt kind of embarrassed despite her being a non intelligent fairy so I explained to her.
"Cough- I know my place looks bad but I cannot be helped, I want to move in this mountain but I cannot dig inside so I made a little place right by a tree ok. Atleast were able to sleep although sometimes gotta be where of predators but yea." Alucard explained.
ESDEATH just looked at him and basically hummed as if she didn't care.
Atleast she doesn't care.. Alucard thought.
I started to roast the emperor and me and her started to eat it and I gotta admit it tasted like high quality salmon, it must be because it's a emperor level monster? I don't even know the ranks yet perhaps I should ask the system?

Alucard started to digest the information he has received.
"Hum, so the River emperor was an emperor type monster. And there are more of them then? I can't wait, they are quite tasty hehehe." Alucard started to drool thinking about the flavor of those monsters.
"Wait a minute, since I killed a emperor level monster then I too am an emperor Level? Or am I stronger? I think I'm a mid ranked since the fish was a bit weak and low ranked. Good to know."
Alucard then looked at esdeath and assumed her rank.
"Mmf maybe a high king ranked? Maybe even mid. Should become a emperor level once she evolves though."
I offered some of the emperors meat to esdeath and she started to eat with relish.
Seeing her eating it a system message suddenly came up.

[River Emperors Incredible Endurance: (Passive Skill) (Permanent) Damage is reduced by 5%]
[River Emperor Pressure: (Active skill) For a set amount of time you can produce an incredible pressure that makes any weaker being tremble in fear! High chance to paralyze target, it also increases the chances of making a minion obey you]
[Title: River Emperor: A title given to those who have defeated the current River Emperor! Water affinity +20, increase the chance of successfully making a minion by 10% (As long as you own this Title, no more River Emperor type monsters can generate in the area: River)]

Deciding to go to sleep, alucard rested on his bed and saw esdeath make her way over and laid down on his chest.
"Sweet dreams my fairy."
I decided to check my status one last time before sleeping.
