6 First day of school?

Bella POV~

After I finished getting ready for school Charlie said he had a surprise for me as I went downstairs I was shocked to see he bought me a truck?He said he bought it off of Billy Black I thanked him and got in the truck thinking "First day of school can't be that bad?".

MC POV~

After waking up more like getting up I didn't get much sleep I spent the whole night strengthening my mind and practising magic in my mindscape well more like trying to understand my other abilities.

I got out of bed finished getting ready said "good morning" to gramps had breakfast and drove to school.After arriving I see lots of teenagers the buzz comes back but not as intense as before I park and grab my bag while getting out of the car and spot a red truck.Saving that thought for later I started walking and asked a guy where the principals office is.He gives me directions and I continue walking.

"Morning I'm a new transfer student here" I say to the receptionist that still has her head buried in her computer screen she just points towards a stack of papers. I walk over and grab the one on top of the stack I see my schedule for the week.I mutter "thanks" and start walking in the direction of my first class.

As I walk to class I get this foul smell that just assaults my senses,It smells like rotting flesh and it grows stronger in the direction I'm walking in.I knock on the door announcing my presence and walk in "Class we have a new exchange student today his name is Conner Thompson make sure to give him a warm welcome and young man you can claim any empty seat."

As I look around I spot a girl black hair blue eyes but a closer look I see black tendrils around her almost sucking the remainder of her vitality I presume.A thought comes to my mind 'black magic'. I calmly walk and sit down in an empty seat I turn around and I see someone unexpected it's Alice.I remind myself that I'll have to deal with that girl later on but surprisingly that's not where that smell is coming from it's coming from our resident vegetarian vampire.

As the first lesson starts I adjust my body as to make them believe I'm paying attention when in reality I'm trying to manipulate light.I failed of course but I'm getting there slowly,the first period ends and I walk out to go to biology pausing as someone taps me on my shoulder.Turning around I see it's Alice.

I look at her and ask if she needs anything she just happily skips away. "Ok that was wierd even for her" as I leave I ponder about that smell if it isn't her body could it possibly be her soul? Classes go by and yea now it's lunch thankfully Jessica isn't in any of my classes so far do I don't have to deal with her or her entourage. I find an empty desk sit down and take out my lunch by now the whole cafeteria is staring at me I instantly deadpan get up and sit down by the "unpopular" kids section no way in hell am I sitting remotely near the Cullens.

As I'm eating I hear the cafeteria doors open and low and behold Edward,Rosalie,Emmett,Jasper and Alice come inside like models I'm surprised no one figured out they aren't human yet.Alice waved at me for some odd reason and almost the entire cafeteria looks in my direction I groan under my breath "Only now you can communicate"Which in turn adds a chuckle from Emmett and Jasper just looks at me like his in pain yea buddy I get you being an empath in a school full of horny teenagers will do that.

I hear Jessica talking about the Cullens and Bella and Edward are having a staring contest I just carry on eating and chat to the kids at my table surpringly they make for a good conversation.Lunch ends and we walk out I see Mike trying to as I say act 'cool' I just ignore them and the rest of the day flies by.

After classes end I walk to my car get in and drive away.Need some time to clear my head i see Talia's grandmother I offer her a lift being the gentleman I am and she agrees.So now I'm in an awkward situation driving in absolute silence with a smiling granny in my passenger seat.

As we arrive at her house she asks if I want to come in of course I say yes I park the car and come inside as I come into the living room I spot Talia. I sneak behind her and whisper "Is your headache gone" I hear an "Eep" and she jumps forward I start laughing as she tries to slap me I dodge and then trip her and set her on the couch.I stare at her before she hmphs and starts angrily tapping her phone.

Talia POV~

I hear someone whisper into my ear I jump up and I see him I instantly go to slap him he dodges me then I'm on the couch? I decide to message my friend as I secretly stare at Conner for a few minutes before shaking my head to clear my thoughts.Dick says dinner is ready and we both go into the dinning room.

I heard grandma invited him when he offered her a lift.I heard him talking about school.His in those bloodsuckers class, I hope they didn't lay a hand on him I let a small growl out of my mouth and clench my hand. "w-Wait since when have I been so possessive we aren't even dating hell we ain't even friends" I stare at grandma and I see that 'I know what's up' smile plastered on her face someone kill me now please. At least dinner was fun stupid Conner.
