Senju's heart always held onto love for her other older brother. The way their family had divided never really sat right with her. However, she understood the type of person Haruchiyo was, brash and restless. His time in Bonten enhanced his deviant tendencies, and all she wanted to do was save her best friend from the inevitable. Senju's second older brother was capable of destroying Y/n.

After the announcement Takeomi made, Senju tapped Nami's leg having them both stand up from their cushion. She reached out to Y/n's hand to grab it, reel her back in so the trio could walk out together. Then Haruchiyo pulled Y/n closer to his body. I've never seen Haru look at any thing like that before. Maybe there is no stopping this from happening.

Y/n was gently pulled into his embrace. Still holding hands Sanzu slipped his other behind her back. His mind buzzing, reminding him to be delicate. Only the pads of his fingers made contact with her skin. "You coming with me?" he looked down at her, his eyes betraying his cocky smirk. He looked so hopeful. A feeling of bliss, an electric lively feeling under her skin, no nervous butterflies but adrenaline inspired intensity washed over Y/n. That elicited a quick response, "Yes." She didn't turn back to her friends to make sure this was the plan. Didn't take in any other environmental or social queues around them. Blindly agreeing to follow this man because it came with the promise of being acquainted to him and experiencing adventure. He thinks I look like a good time; he looks captivating.

Following suit, hand in hand, they made their way to the exit of Club Zero with the rest of the group. Haruchiyo leaned down towards her, the pieces of hair that framed his face tickled her cheek. "Sit with me in the van, you can dance on me the ride back to the house."

He straightened himself but kept his eyes on her. He looked like a jester, the way he smiled big and bright. She mimicked an expression like she had eaten something bitter, sarcastically replying "Ha. Ha. Good one." She couldn't keep up the act and let out a laugh.

With everyone outside and accounted for in the alley, Akashi unlocked the white moving van. The "back seat" was just all open space for everyone to cramp into. Sanzu let go of her hand, one arm hooked behind her waist the other under her knees. In a quick scoop he had her in a bridal carry. "What're you doing?"

"Don't worry about it." He looked at her with false irritation. "I'm getting us a real seat. We're not getting stuck in the back with everybody."

Takeomi had opened the swing doors of the van's back. He waved his arm from the direction of the group to the inside of the vehicle. "Come on people, let's get the show on the road." He stood on the passenger side, leaning on the door waiting to be able to close it once everyone was inside. In the corner of his eye, he saw a mass moving towards the passenger door. Sanzu was opening the door and with Y/n still in his arms sat the both of them into the seat. Akashi didn't hear Kakucho tell him, "We're all good, you can close the doors now.", but he still threw his cigarette to the ground. Stomped on it. And slammed the van doors shut. He had the walk from the back doors to the driver's seat to calm down.

"You comfortable?" Y/n inquired her seatmate. "I'm fine but you do need to move." His expression turning sly. He tapped her thigh with the hand that was now wrapped around her body. "You gotta face me, I need to buckle us in."

She could only express disbelief, "You can't be serious."

"Safety first doll face, come on."

With the roll of her eyes she placed a hand on the seat behind his head. In the tight space she managed to straddle him. I cannot stand how pleased he looks with himself. She let out an airy laugh and he reached for the seatbelt.

When Takeomi got into the van he stopped at the spectacle beside him. Sanzu sent him a wise ass grin and a wink. Akashi settled into his seat and started the van. Haruchiyo had pulled the seatbelt to its full extended length, hugging behind Y/n he grabbed the buckle pulling it across them and placing it in. It was a clumsy mess, and the pair couldn't suppress their fit of giggles. He tightened the strap, so it was snug on her. The lap piece was secured to her lower back, the shoulder piece falling into place. He raised an eyebrow to her, "good?" she nodded goofy smile to accompany it.

As the ride progressed, Y/n slipped into comfort. She had kept her hands on the seat in front of her with Sanzu resting between them. He had kept his hands folded in front of him resting right under his chest. I can't do this anymore. We've made it this far. Looking away from the window, he faced her. To avoid the embarrassment being caught staring at him she had been focusing on her nail beds. Feeling his turn and his eyes on her she looked up. "Can I touch you?" his voice was low and a raspy whisper. Paired with the serious look on his face she couldn't help but melt a little more into his lap. Dry mouth she just nodded but he didn't move. He just kept staring into her eyes. You gotta use your words baby tell me you want it, he mentally pleaded.

"Yeah," she cleared her throat, "yes you can."

Sanzu made a slow show of it. I really fucking hope she can't feel how fast my heart is beating right now. He hovered both hands over her hips and then committed to holding onto them. If she doesn't feel my heart, she'll feel the boner I'm about to get. He held her gaze a second longer and then turned back towards the window. My turn to touch him. She slipped her hands off the seat and interlocked them behind his neck.

The van's driver had reached his tolerance. Everything happening next to him was getting him more and more enraged. It could've stemmed from jealousy, sorely resentful of Haruchiyo and offended by Y/n. His mind didn't even rationalize why he felt that way, all he did was feel it. If I crash the passenger side into a pole right now how hurt would Senju get in the back? Maybe I'll just slam on the brakes. They'll bash heads hard enough to knock each other out. My fucking luck the only thing that'll smash is their lips. No that would be too good of a coincidence for them...way too good. He devoted himself to it and slammed the brakes.

What Akashi Takeomi had failed to take into consideration is the innate animalistic instincts Sanzu was able to tap in to. Add in his recently discovered protectiveness of Y/n and his reaction time was superhuman. As the van screeched to a stop, he encased Y/n, one arm pulling in on her lower back the other up her spine, hand clutching the back of her head. He tucked her face into his neck and planted both feet on the floor of the vehicle. They had barely budged with the impact thanks to his core strength. They rocked a little forward and fell back into the seat with a small thump. Someone in the back had started pounding on the interior from the back seat. Still safeguarding Y/n Sanzu looked over to the driver, "What the fuck was that?!"

"Something ran out into the road, looked like a dog." Akashi said monotone and then picked the speed back up to continue driving.

Haruchiyo unwrapped his grip on Y/n and let her pull herself up to readjust her position in his lap. "Well that was scary," she said awkwardly scratching her cheek, "but on the bright side you smell nice. What cologne do you use?" Of course, of course she would try to turn this around. Just move on and be positive huh? He chuckled, "Thanks. Why do you wanna know?"

"I want to get a bottle of it for my boyfriend."

YOU'RE WHAT?!?!
