358 We're Going Down

I gaped at Lukas in disbelief. 

"Wait, you're kidding, right? Nothing's really underneath…"

That's so impossible. Come on now.

Lukas unceremoniously stood up, his amethyst eyes staring intently at the water with a serious expression.

"Hold on to the boat."

"Seriously?"

The water began to churn, rocking the boat from side to side. I gulped and wordlessly did what Lukas told me.

Sera was only stupefied for a second and she was back to being crazy again.

"Holy shit, there really is a river monster? Ahahahahha"

I sighed. "I should have just closed my damn mouth."

"AHAHAHAHAHA"

Sera started laughing loudly now, and I just looked at her like she lost her damn mind.

'This woman is crazy.'

Our boat shakes as something beneath rises up to the surface. 

What a fvcked up situation it will be if the river monster, if it is, would show up right under our boat.
