7 A Legend...

Daikon continued forward in hopes of finding more of the creatures, but just as before all trails were basically dead until he stumbled upon another...

'These things are surprisingly hard to find... maybe I should just head back and call it a day. I can test my new machine too' Daiko thought to himself, smiling.

He flew back to his ship at breakneck speeds, following the tracker to a tea. It didn't take long for him to arrive with his level of speed either.

Upon arriving, he flew down toward the cave he parked his camouflaged ship.

But before he did so, he decided he would use the opportunity to burn the energy he had left...

Heading into his inventory, he saw the device at which he clicked.

'I hope this works...' Daiko thought to himself.

In a moment, he saw a large space ship like machine pop up mere meters away in front of him.

"Oh, it did work, not bad at all. It looks like Bulma's own but a little larger." Daiko commented.

He walked towards the entrance of the machine. Seeing the differences this one and Bulma's own had.

"So I guess this is it. And... That must be the gravity-altering buttons." Daiko spotted.

Before he went anywhere, he closed the entrance and dashed towards the controls.

With basic common sense, he deduced what and what not to push. After putting the machine on '2x' mode, he clicked the button...

*VOOM!!!*

"GAHH!!" Daiko exclaimed. His body dropped to the floor, faster than he would actually like to admit.

'I just doubled it yet, it's this powerful?' Daiko thought, straining.

His body was not acclimated to this much pressure. And to do the most taboo thing concerning gravity there is, he made it hard for himself.

"It makes sense w-why they say to never double the g-gravity." Daiko thought. He read that gravity isn't as linear as we would all think. Physics had its limits and his biology had limits. A simple +10x increase can make one buckle their knees from a previously comfortable 30, 40, and so on with the level of gravity.

Some might say that the one known as Goku did so, and overcame a level of gravity almost twice what Daiko is struggling with currently, but that is a different case. Saiyans don't always adapt the same way.

Goku however, in this scenario has a much better foundation of physical strength than Daiko, so Goku after post-gravity training, in pure raw power alone will be able to beat Daiko who has the greater amount of ki between the two, simply because his foundation of gaining physical strength is far better.

And now, Daiko simply jumped to double what he struggled with mere hours ago. A very unwise decision, but a necessary one. With basic training, he knew he could adapt in 2 weeks or three at most. Self-torture training/S.T.T... wasn't on his agenda at the moment...

He began forcing himself up off the floor...

*Huff...*

*Huff...*

"C'mon Daiko, at least get 10 of each workout done. We don't move on until you hit 5 thousand of each." Daiko said to himself. He then began his couple of hours of training later...

.

.

.

"Okay, Daiko! Let's go!" He said, pressing the button to stop the machine.

"Phew! That was unreasonably hard... I haven't had a workout like that in a while... Minus my special torture training..." He said, chuckling to himself. He was now exhausted beyond belief...

But, he could already feel his power growing in response.

"... I need to get into my healing pod... " Daiko said with a pained voice. After 10 minutes of resting. He made his way unto the ship and then into his pod to recover his stamina...

This process lasted for the next 3 weeks, consisting mostly of basic training until he had adapted to the gravity as well as fulfilled his prerequisites. Now and then Daiko would venture out occasionally and defeat monsters to level up in his spare time, gaining new abilities along the way. Now, he was much stronger than ever...

Looking around the ship, Daiko stretched his little arms.

"Not a bad day... not like it doesn't look like any other day..." Daiko said, his mood dropping a little.

After a good night's rest, his power must have increased again after training, so he decided to check...

"System, please show me my status!" He said In a posh tone...

'With this, I should be stronger than that brat Vegeta at least. The king, however, is another story...' Daiko thought.

He was glad he could grow this much in the past 3 weeks. The training had paid off for him which was apparent...

He then took a look at his transformations tab, yet nothing popped up as expected...

"...This I don't get, I'm still without a form even with a power level of almost 30 million... Do I lack S-cells or something? I doubt it. After a certain point, transforming should be as easy as flipping a switch, yet I had gotten no inclinations at all..." Daiko thought a little frustrated.

No matter the method, he couldn't trigger anything, anger was the only option he had left, but with his passives, he couldn't conjure up a thought to piss himself off enough... But it shouldn't require anger for him to transform, especially not at this level of power...

"I'll just leave it be for now..." Daiko said, scoffing.

To take his mind off of things, he took a shower to get ready for his next travel...

.

.

.

As Daiko gathered his things. A week ago, he found an area he labeled 'Meat' on his mini-map. It was his food source. He found out that there were flesh-like quadrupedal creatures present on the planet, they were just on a specific part of it. A part where the tundra isn't as harsh as it is now...

'Time to get some livestock.' Daiko thought, leaving his ship.

As he flew toward the marker. He thought about what he could do to make his life a little easier...

'Maybe I'll capture a couple of them to set up some sort of farm. It'll make getting food a lot faster.' Daiko thought as he flew closer to his destination...

However... Things were different this time.

'No way... Golems? Here? Why?' Daiko questioned.

He saw many large golems and his first small one, an extremely small one.

'Whatever, I'll just end this quickly. These things shouldn't be an issue.' Daiko decided. With each of his fingers, he formed small 'eraser canons'.

'Eat this!' Daiko said in his mind. Before any of the four large golems could react, they were blasted right in their cores, rendering them useless.

[Host has received 5,500 EXP for killing a level 14 Frost Golem...]

[Host has received 6,000 EXP for killing a level 15 Frost Golem...]

[Host has received 4,000 EXP for killing a level 11 Frost Golem...]

[Host has received 10,000 EXP for killing a level 23 Frost Golem...]

[You have leveled up...]

'Nice! Just this little guy left.' Daiko thought. He didn't have to check using his observation skill. He was aware of the power range of the creatures, and his current power was more than enough to deal with any of them. Or at least, that's what he thought...

However, as soon as he landed...

His instincts screamed at him.

His small body reacted before he could even think. He dodged two ki attacks coming at frightening speeds...

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

'What the!?' Daiko asked surprised. Landing on his feet, sweating...

He then immediately activated His 'Observe' skill.

But... As he did so, his eyes widened in shock...

'A-A... Semi-boss!?' Daiko thought confused. But immediately, the enemy disappeared from his sight...

Two more ki blasts came toward him. He dodged them both again, still barely doing so...

'This thing is fast! And highly intelligent. But this makes no sense! The smaller golems shouldn't have readings beyond three million max, but this one has a reading of 37 million!?' Daiko confirmed. Sweating profusely.

'Damn it, it's way stronger than me! No wonder the system gave me such a long time. If I'm not careful, I might die of one of these things! Their power shouldn't even be this high!' Daiko thought, growing more frustrated at the opponent he was facing.

Daiko was constantly dodging and weaving the ice-tinted attacks from his new 'semi-boss' golem enemy...

*SWUSH!*

*SWISH!*

Daiko ducked and avoided the attacks barely.

'I can't get close enough, it's purposefully keeping me at a distance. I need to close that gap quickly!' Daiko planned. He pressed forward.

Back flipping through the air and throwing eraser canons as soon as he got the chance. Luckily he was what he was, the more the enemy pressed him, the more he grew in battle. The gap was closing ever so quickly...

However, he grew faster as well as his technique sharpened as the fight continued, but the golem was good. Surprisingly so...

It was in its element on this planet, not only could it conjure attacks from itself, it could manipulate the crystals below it to attack him...

And finally, it did...

*Pierce!*

An ice shard from his blind spot finally hit him in his thigh, and swiftly came another for his hands...

"ARGGHHH!!!" Daiko shouted. The attack pierced his flesh with ease. And as he fell, the monster suddenly seized all of its attacks. As if saying it's already won.

It walked closer. Its eyes glowed a royal purple hue...

Daiko's mind on the other hand was going through a wave of emotions. Panic, fear, and terror... He wondered if he going to go down this swiftly. An easy prey all because he let his guard down

He still couldn't believe he was hit. The fatigue had caught up with him after running and dodging for so long...

However, with battle, comes seeing pain... However, his saiyan instincts didn't dwell on it... Slowly another emotion emerged. One he was always trying to not let out... to try and not let loose...

.

.

.

In an instant, a grassy green wave enveloped the scenery...

Daiko's hair grew spiker, his forehead growing thick viscous veins... His teeth clenched as his face even with the look of a baby showed incredible anger.

He looked forward, his eyes changing from icy blue to piercing amber. His body seemed to have grown a foot, as well as his little muscles that were faint, now bulged as if they were being held back for millennia and finally unleashed...

"𝑹~𝑨𝑨𝑯𝑯𝑯𝑯𝑯!!!!!!!!..."
