Lee Han didn't bother acknowledging Zoey, his gaze fixed on the newcomer. Another pale-faced man stood a few meters away. He believed that man to be Victor, the vampire lord, Zoey's target.

Lee Han sensed a dark, powerful aura emanating from Victor's body. It shocked him. 

'What a formidable creature...' He felt a surge of nervousness.

Without a word from Lee Han, Zoey continued, 'Well yeah... I'm not in my best condition, but we can't run away either. I need your help to fight Victor. Only you could help me now.'

'Sure!' With no opportunity to flee, he could only assist her and win from this confrontation.

Lee Han's swift response surprised Zoey. She had expected him to make excuses or bargain.

'Why are you looking at me like that?' Lee Han smiled at her, who was now gazing at him in astonishment.
