64 Day 64: Pure friendship (II)

Blake was about to try to get unstuck and pretend he didn't see or hear anything, but what reached his ears at that moment made it impossible, and his imagination worked even faster.

"~Ara~ Thank you for the compliment, but you shouldn't think like that, all these years have given you the great image of a mature beauty, I'm also envious of that." The talk between the two women had run its course without them knowing that someone else was listening carefully to everything.

"Ha! Mature beauty? What good is it if no one notices me?"

"It's not that no one notices you, it's just that they feel too nervous to try to court you, besides..."

"Ah!"

"You should show these weapons you have here, no one could resist them, my hands seem to sink completely."

"Shino... Stop."

"Ufufu, do you really want me to stop, you're making such a cute face right now."

"I... ~Ahh~" On the other side of the wall, Blake couldn't stop listening to what was happening at that moment, his reason had already left a long time ago and he only let his mind feed on the sounds that came to him, and if he had turned to look at Rusk at that moment, Blake could see how he was holding his nose for some reason and pressing his head even closer to the wall to keep listening to that melodious voice.

"Do you really dislike it? That doesn't seem to be the case." The scene from before seemed like it wasn't over, as more strange sounds were heard in the air.

"Please... Just..."

"Hehe, I wish I could keep playing longer, but..." That was when both Blake and Rusk found it strange that they couldn't hear anything anymore, but before they could think of what to do, they managed to notice something making a strange sound in their ears at that moment, and seemed to be coming too fast towards them.

"Swoosh!" And just when it finished, both could notice how between the two of them, a kind of sword similar to a katana had crossed the wall just a few millimeters from cutting both of them. You could see how their faces turned gray and they started to break out in a cold sweat from what could have happened, but none of that mattered as fear washed over them upon hearing the voice coming from the other side.

"Looks like there are some listeners right now, hehe." Not wasting a second after hearing a voice that seemed to be sentencing both of them to death, Rusk made a small hand signal to Blake and ran off as fast as he could while Blake took a bucket of water and throw it at him, and then do the same without caring if he had completely cleaned himself or not.

Just as he came out, he could see Rusk was dressing at full speed, but nervousness caused him to make a mistake and put his underwear on top of his pants. Blake didn't have time to scoff and just got his clothes out of the washing to do the same as him.

Once they were fully dressed, they both ran out of the bath as fast as they could and began to run out of the inn paying no attention to the strange looks from Sakuya or the guests until they reached the same restaurant Blake had been to the last previous time.

After several gasps and drops of sweat came out of them, they looked directly into each other's eyes while smiles were on their faces and they gave each other thumbs up expressing that their mission had been a success. And although they did not know it, a great friendship had been born between them, and it was the purest. The friendship between perverts!

"What is the most dangerous thing in this world?" It seemed strange to Blake that Rusk would bring that question up out of the blue, but he didn't hesitate for a second when he gave his answer.

"The beauty of a woman."

"That's deep, bro." With a serious look, they both shook hands as the landscape seemed to change with a deep sunrise at the seashore, and just as their moment of brotherhood was taking place, a voice belonging to an orange-eyed girl brought them back to reality.

"Why are you acting like fools?" Was the question Collette asked after observing in the distance what both boys were doing.

"You wouldn't understand, even if we explained it to you." Rusk said with a serious face.

"We are expressing our mutual admiration." And with the same serious look, Blake said that without hesitation.

And not caring what the words she had just heard meant, Collette walked away to attend to the tables while some words came out of her mouth that were addressed to her silly brother and the strange blonde in her opinion.

"Weirdos…"

...

Seeing that there was nothing else to do, Rusk said goodbye to Blake telling him that he would look forward to the next adventure as he climbed the stairs of the place.

Blake said goodbye too and thought that maybe he should eat something since he was in the restaurant, but he didn't feel really hungry at the time, so he felt it was better to go home, but when he was about to walk through the door, he remembered the plan that had occurred to him a while ago. He saw that Blaise was relatively unoccupied at the moment and walked over to tell him what he had planned.

"Good afternoon, Blaise."

"Oh Blake, what brings you here? Need to recharge?"

"It would really, be amazing to try your food again, but I just came to ask you something. What kind of cookware do you have that I can buy?"

"I see... So, you finally decided to enjoy everything the kitchen has to offer, maybe we should have a party to celebrate."

"Haha... I don't think that's enough of a reason to do it, but I appreciate the thought."

"Yes, maybe another time. Going back to before, I have various types of utensils, knives, pans, pots, etc. Do you have something you want specifically?"

"Well, I was thinking of something to help me mix for the time being."

"So obviously you needed a mixer." while he said that, Blaise reached into the kitchen cabinets and pulled out a small mixer that was exactly what Blake was looking for. "What do you think?"

The mixer wasn't too strange, and it wasn't too different from the one Blake had in mind.

"It's perfect, how much would it be?"

"Five hundred coins, by the way, you just need to press the button to make it work and let the magic do its work."

"I get it, thanks." Blake didn't ask much about it since he figured it would work the same way as all the artifacts he already knew. He paid for the mixer and left the restaurant with his new purchase.

Blake teleported to his house and quickly walked over to his kitchen counter to begin his experiment. He placed the mixer on top and in his hand appeared one of the apples that he had picked earlier then put it inside the container and wait for the magic to do his job.
