Re: Rune Factory ~A Fantasy Harvest Moon~

Falling out of the sky from a height that I could have died from, waking up in an unfamiliar and strange place wherever I looked, and not remembering a shred of who I really am. This is how it all started... This is how my new life began in this fantastic world. ____________________________________ "English is not my main language, but I try my best." This fanfic is based on the Rune Factory videogame saga. At the same time, it encompasses its entire universe with some pretty significant changes. The beginning is really quiet, but that is completely necessary to fully develop the story in the future and discover all the mysteries of the world, enjoy the story and discover for yourself what time hid for everyone.

Day 218: A plan (IV)

"I'll make sure to pay you back in the future." Blake simply answered Sakuya's words; although he didn't know it, she wouldn't forget it.

Blake regained his balance after Sakuya helped him that moment, now both of them were standing side by side while the figure of the huge wooly was not too far from them, but that wasn't the only thing they had to pay attention to.

Because Sakuya had arrived at the same place as Blake, the many woolies that were chasing her were also closing in at high speed, which was not lost on both of them.

"Well... Do you have any plan in mind?" Since she had gotten into this, Sakuya asked that question only Blake could hear.

"The plan is simple, survive until the event is over or get more wool from that wooly." Maybe it was a simple plan, but Blake didn't have something else in mind, although the next thing Sakuya said made him rethink.

"How about both?"

"What do you think will be the result of all this, Shara?" Blaise's voice was heard again, despite the possible tension in the environment, anyone could tell that something interesting would happen right at the end of the event.

"I can't guess, Blaise. But at least I can say that all the participants showed and tried their best, and they will always live in my memory." Although Shara was exaggerating a bit with her words, everyone understood the gist of what she meant.

"While it's not uncommon for this event to turn out that way, I'm sure most will remember the year where the winners were decided simply by disqualification, but that's a story for another time, so it's best to focus on the present event." Blaise's words made everyone return their attention to the central area of the square, although in reality, they were all waiting for the next move of the pair of figures that were in front of the wooly waiting for a new confrontation.

Everything seemed to have stopped, the public had been silent to the point that only the footsteps of the other participants could be heard, fleeing from the woolies that were chasing them. The huge wooly was also standing firmly and its attention was only focused on the figures of Sakuya and Blake, and although they were doing the same, they soon made their own move.

"Did you understand the plan?" Sakuya repeated that question for the fourth time to Blake.

"Yes... But, are you sure?" Blake had also asked him that question for the fourth time, but he kept getting the same answer from her.

"Yes, completely sure, don't you trust me?" Blake didn't say anything after that, and though he continued to doubt, it didn't take a second before he launched himself in the wooly's direction.

From the point of view of the huge sheep monster, it didn't lose track of Blake, even though he was moving at a high speed, the fact that it was heading towards it helped it know where to attack.

"Baaa!" A new bleat had come out of the wooly trying to instill some kind of fear in Blake, although that sound had only made many people in the audience feel that it was something cute.

Blake ignored this and concentrated on what he had to do, his footsteps didn't stop, even as he felt the wooly's arms pass only a few millimeters from hitting him since he had dodged it in time.

The wooly had let out a new bleat of annoyance, but before it tried to find Blake again, it felt its body weigh a little more, although that became quite clear once everyone saw what had happened.

"That... That's quite unexpected." Blaise couldn't help but say his opinion.

"How envious, I would like to do that too!" Shara showed an emotion that was rare to see in her, much like she was a little girl desperately wanting a toy.

What had happened and that everyone was watching was what Blake had done. After having successfully dodged the wooly's blows, he had not tried to attack it with his spoon, but had jumped towards the body of the wooly and then opened his arms and caught its torso.

So the image in front of everyone was that of Blake giving the huge wooly a big hug… And that had confused almost everyone present.

"Okay, keep it that way!" That scream made everyone come out of their initial surprise when they noticed Sakuya while a somewhat worrying smile adorning her face.

Meanwhile, Blake had just held onto the wooly's body with all his strength, he was leaning on the little wool he could to avoid falling, although it was difficult since the wooly didn't stop moving.

The wooly was doing that because he wanted to get rid of Blake, he was even using its paws to try to make him fall, but Blake didn't seem to want to get away from him, and this was perfect for Sakuya since he needed the wooly to stay in one place.

Some people were amused by the scene in front of them since it was quite comical to see Blake like that, but then again, they had to keep quiet because of what had just happened.

It only lasted a few seconds, but anyone could see how Sakuya rushed in the same direction as the wooly, leaving a light cloud of dust as she began to run, to later see the slight green glow coming from her spear.

The glow indicated that the matrix was working at full power, Sakuya wouldn't dare to make such a move since it would surely fail at any other time, but with Blake acting as bait, she didn't hesitate to use it.

Sakuya had jumped into the air, and her spear was spinning repeatedly causing the green glow to illuminate it completely, the wooly was aware of what was approaching it at that very moment, but at the same time, it knew it was too late to move.

"Fwoosh!" The spectators behind the wooly felt how the gust of wind from Sakuya's spear hit them a little, making their hair ripple and some hats fly off with it.

Most of those present had to unconsciously close their eyes since the dust had risen due to it, although some also tried to open them even in that situation since their curiosity to know what had happened was greater.

The situation lessened with the passing of the seconds and it was enough to get everyone's attention, especially because they could see a scene where the huge wooly had fallen to the ground again, but the most important thing was that Sakuya was helping Blake to stand up, but in the hands of both, there was a huge piece of white wool that reflected the sun's rays a little like the smile on their faces.
