Chapter 50: The arrival of 'Players'

At the Entrance of Gu Lin Fang's pavilion, The man could be seen sipping tea while watching something.

It was almost daybreak already and the residents were waking up, earlier Gu Lin Fang had used the shadow guard to deliver the Golden horse Young Master and got Gu Wei Fan to pick the unconscious fellow.

The young man laid there peacefully, dreaming about something he didn't care about. So Gu Lin Fang had to tell Wei Fan to go call the two other men of his Wei line, upon arrival, he had them flog the boy for his 'carelessness'.

As soon as he was flogged, the poor fellow began wriggling like a worm while wailing. They sealed his mouth under Gu Lin Fang's order and continued.

Unfortunately, Gu Lin Fang got too busy and didn't bother to stop them.

So this continued for two hours, anytime the boy fainted, he would have them feed him healing elixirs and watch him heal, then they'll proceed to beat him once again

At this point, everyone except Gu Lin Fang was tired at this point but no one dares to stop as they were sure they'd be next if you aren't careful.

Unknown to them, Gu Lin Fang was too busy to care, he using this time to try and take his shadow guard out of the city.

But it was proving difficult due to the new curfew, so he was now looking for a place to hide in the slums.

At this time, the cloth that had been used to block the boy's mouth suddenly fell off and he managed to say something, he tried to raise his voice in order to gain Gu Lin Fang's attention.

He stroked his beards with one hand while looking at them, on the other hand was a brown sheathed sword.

Qin Feng read them calmly, after all he had time. He looked at what he was wearing and found that it was a navy blue martial suit that looked more expensive than his Beta gear, although it was obviously just cosmetics.

He walked out of the training ground with Gu Wei Fan in toe while all 100 players followed behind.

The Sun was rising and everyone walked excitedly, they admired the paths and bamboos around.

Suddenly Gao Gao mutters, "what is this feeling?...it feels like something bad will soon happen".

Qin Feng's face became solemn as he said, "That's your, personality being triggered... seems like things are not going to be simple".

Lu Da's expression remained the same but his eyes seemed to be more serious now.

5 minutes later, they arrived at what looked like the Main Hall, there were several people standing up the stairs,  seated on the throne was a face the players were all curious about, the Patriarch.

Qin Feng began checking their status and couldn't help swallowing hard, all kinds of evaluation filled his UI.
