Zeke woke up after 12 hours feeling hungry. He got up from his bed. He could only assume that either Leonel or Cass had carried him there. He went downstairs and had some food. After that, he started assessing his gains. First of all, his body had become much stronger than before. But that was still secondary. His most precious gain was the completion of the technique. 

He had been right. Activating Insatiable Thirst had freed his thought process from its previous constraints. What he hadn't realized, was the weight of the shackles that he had voluntarily put on himself in the form of his inhibitions. The inhibitions didn't only include the safety of others but also himself.
