22 Chapter 22: A Tough Choice and Drastic Measures

Just then, he recieved a call from Katherine. She was calling to tell them to come to the house. She and Alexi had some news to share. He told this to Leonel and they decided to take a short break. They cleaned up a little, changed their clothes, and went to the house. Alexi, Katherine, and Cass were waiting for them. 

Although it had only been an year since Leonel had known them, he had come to consider them as his family. He first approached Katherine, and infused some Life attributed mana into her body. Katherine didn't exactly need it, but it was good for her and the baby. Just then, he found something very surprising and started smiling. He then winked at her and retreated.

"Thanks, Uncle Leo."

"Just call me anytime you want one."

This time Zeke asked, "So, what happened?"

"We have some news to share. We wanted to tell you before but you guys were very busy and we didn't want to disturb you."
