17 Chapter 17: Aurevion

In the six months that passed, Zeke and Cass did nothing but train with Alexi and Leonel. Their bodies had gone through a fundamental change when they evolved and they needed to get used to them. Leonel had advised them to hold off levelling up before they were completely familiar with their bodies.

Zeke and Leonel also started working together to create their cultivation techniques. But they didn't get very far because the boys still hadn't initiated their Celestial Trinity Racial Trait. Zeke could instinctively tell that it would make a big commotion and wanted to use that to their advantage.

With Alessio's careful planning, rumours had started spreading that something big was going to happen when Nephilim Pharmaceuticals released a new potion. The best part was that he didn't even do anything big. He just ordered one of his trusted men to leak some false information and when it started spreading, he made it look like he was trying his best to stop all the rumours. Some people doubted them, but with no response from Nephilim Pharmaceuticals, they had no other choice.

The rumours spread even faster and every Player in the Federation became excited. Seeing that the effect was much greater than he had expected, he made a small change to the plan. Instead of a single potion, they would release three.

He did this for two reasons; one, it would greatly boost their sales. Second, if did not do this, their customers would be disappointed. Although Zeke's plan was extravagant, to say the least, there was a chance that it wouldn't meet their customers' expectations.

About three months later, Zeke shared his plans with everybody else as well. When he heard the plan, Leonel was surprised that he didn't think about it himself. Still, he decided to further help in any way he could.

The company declared that instead of releasing the new potions in the morning, as they did every time, they would do so at night. At a gala that they were going to host. They invited many bigwigs, especially in the pharma industry.

Many of them wanted to refuse, but then they got the news that Sir Mad Immortal had been invited as the chief guest and had accepted the invitation. The company also hired a famous TV channel to broadcast the event live. They even spent a small fortune on advertisements.

Finally, it was D-day. It was a grand occasion. Alessio and Katherine acted as the hosts while Alexi stayed with the boys. The grand gala unfolded in a breathtaking display of opulence. The venue, a luxurious ballroom adorned with cascading crystal chandeliers and draped in regal shades of purple and gold, set the stage for an evening of sophistication and intrigue.

Guests, elegantly clad in couture gowns and tailored tuxedos, mingled beneath the shimmering lights, their laughter and animated conversations creating a symphony of social elegance. The air was filled with the captivating notes of a live orchestra, adding a touch of refinement to the ambience.

Tables adorned with golden candelabras showcased exquisite floral arrangements in deep purples and pristine whites, subtly echoing the company's commitment to innovation and excellence. A lavish feast, expertly crafted by renowned chefs, awaited the attendees, promising a culinary experience as extraordinary as the potions in the Breath Series celebrated that evening.

The guest chose the gala as an opportunity to make connections and keep their competition in check. As the gala reached its zenith. it was time.

The cameras were ready. The event from this point onwards would be broadcast live so that the people who weren't invited could witness the event. Their preparations were complete. It was time to address the guests and proceed to the real purpose behind this event. Katherine got on the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and our honoured chief guest,

Good evening and welcome to this spectacular gala hosted by Nephilim Pharmaceuticals. Tonight, we gather in the spirit of celebration, surrounded by the splendour of this magnificent venue, to commemorate not just the success of our endeavours but the collective pursuit of innovation and progress in this field.

Before we proceed, let me express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for gracing this occasion with your presence. Your commitment to excellence and your shared vision for a healthier, stronger, and safer Earth Federation have made this evening possible.

Tonight, we are privileged to have with us a distinguished individual whose impact on the Federation is immeasurable. Our chief guest, Sir Leonel Vitali, embodies the spirit of innovation and dedication that we, as a company, hold dear. Their presence elevates this gathering to new heights, and we are truly honoured to have him with us.

My name is Katherine Reed, Head of Research and Development at Nephilim Pharmaceuticals. The breakthroughs achieved by our researchers and the tireless efforts of our teams have not only shaped our company's success but have also contributed to the broader tapestry of advancements in this field.

Today, this gala was hosted to celebrate two such researchers and chemists. The majority of the people think that the potions in the Breath Series were created by me. But, I was not the one that created the recipes for these wonderful potions. They were jointly created by two researchers and chemists.

Today, I have the great honour of officially introducing them to the Federation."

Hearing this a commotion arose in the crowd. Although it doesn't sound like much, an official introduction was a very big deal for any person with a production-type profession. It was the birth of their own brand, their identity in the economic and professional production worlds. Especially, when their products were as famous as the Breath Series.

The guests and the people viewing the event were very curious about the chemists who created the Breath Series but for very different reasons. The public was simply grateful to them, for creating these potions that changed their lives. They not only made cultivation more efficient but also increased their safety in the wild and the frontlines.

Many of them were still alive today because of these potions. So their creators were indirectly their lifesavers. Yes, they were making money off the potions but they were also human. They also needed money. They could easily sell the potions at five times their current price and people would still buy them. But they didn't do that. They sold the potions at affordable prices instead.

The guests, on the other hand, wanted to poach them. Nephilim Pharmaceuticals already dominated the market for F-D Grade potions that increased cultivation efficiency because of the potions in the Breath Series. And they were slowly expanding to other auxiliary potions. If the companies behind these guests could poach the creators, they could show this new company its place and decimate their competitors. They looked at Katherine, eager to know the identity of the mysterious chemists.

Katherine obviously knew what was going on in their minds and had a very hard time controlling her laughter. But she held it all in. After all, she was live on TV. Alessio had sent her a sound transmission that the current viewer count had reached an astounding 50 billion. Just for perspective, the current recorded population of the Earth Federation was 93 billion.

More than 55% of the Federation was watching her every move. At first, she was a bit nervous, but when she thought about the importance of this event for the boys, her nervousness and anxiety vanished and were replaced with unparalleled confidence and unwavering determination.

"Unfortunately, the esteemed chemists wouldn't be able to join us for this event as they don't want their identities as chemists to interfere with their daily lives. I present to you, the dynamic duo that changed the Federation as we know it, the creators of the Breath Series...AUREVION."

Just as she said the name Aurevion, grand music started playing and the ceiling became transparent. Drones covered the sky and converged into the shape of two men winged men with their backs facing each other. Then they transformed into the boys' Totem. The drone light show lasted for about fifteen minutes and was absolutely breathtaking. While the audience was still in awe of what they had just witnessed, Katherine continued.

"They greatly regret not being able to join this celebration. So, to thank you and all our viewers for the support that you have shown them, they have prepared a little gift for all of you."

At the same time, Alexi and the boys were at one of Leonel's private training grounds near the venue. Alexi got a notification and said, "Boys, it's time."

It was time for them to initiate their Racial Traits. They were not worried that the commotion wouldn't be big enough because they had already prepared for that.

"You ready?"

"Always. Let's do this."

They both sat down and instinctively knew what they had to do. They shouted, "CELESTIAL TRINITY!"

For the first five minutes, nothing happened. Just as Alexi was about to text 'Plan B' to Alessio, something changed. The boys felt that their hearts were beating abnormally fast and absorbing lots of Solar Light and Life attributed mana.

The sky above them started brightening. Gradually, the source of this change appeared, a sun. That was the celestial body that their Body Vessel had taken inspiration from to evolve.

The boys felt that their souls had become abnormally active, their thoughts running at ungodly speeds. Their souls also started absorbing Lunar Shadow and Soul attributed mana. Then the moon, which had become almost invisible, also started shining brightly in a purple light. This was the celestial body that their Soul Vessel had taken inspiration from to evolve. The moonlight that it produced was on par with the sunlight from the sun.

They clashed with each other and the skies were divided into two halves, a freezing purple and a scorching white gold. Just when it felt like they would tear the skies asunder, a sudden change took place. The boys felt their mana condensing into a core of Star Fire attributed mana inside the mana centres in their abdomens. The ground beneath them started giving a subtle glow.

A purple-gold star formed above the sun and the moon, forming a triangle. This was the celestial body that their Mana Vessel had taken inspiration to evolve from. But after a deeper observation, it wasn't just a single celestial body. Not exactly. The star that appeared in the sky wasn't an existing celestial body but a manifestation of the fusion of Planet Earth and the Rigel star, an awakened and one of the hottest stars in the known Universe. It seemed to have been influenced by the sun and moon, thus turning into a purple-gold colour.

[I don't know about your universe, but in mine, Rigel is the hottest star in our Solar System. It is also the first awakened star apart fro- What? TMI? Sorry guys. It seems that dumb Realm_Weaver thinks that I shouldn't be telling you all this. It's too much for your mortal minds to take. His words not mine.]

After the star appeared, the energies suddenly mellowed out. The freezing purple became a soothing and cool violet. The scorching gold became an invigorating and warm yellow gold. The triangle started spinning rapidly. At some point, the three celestial bodies suddenly collided in the centre of the triangle and vanished. The night sky reverted to how it originally was. Just when everybody that it was over, a wave of energy originated from the point where they had vanished from. Then, the Aurora Borealis appeared in the sky.

This time, even Katherine was stunned. This was the most gorgeous scene that she had witnessed. But she quickly regained her composure.

"A round of applause for this spectacular gift that Aurevion has provided for us. Now, I would like to announce some important news. First, to celebrate this occasion, all of us at Nephilim Pharmaceuticals, have decided to release not one, not two, but three new potions. You can check them out at your nearest Nephilim Pharmacy.

Second, to commemorate Aurevion's contributions, all of the potions of the Breath Series will have their logo. And not just that, we have decided to create a new point-based currency after them, exclusively for our products. The Aurionex.

The best part is, that everybody will enjoy a grand 75% discount on their first three purchases with Aurionex. On all our products. For details, please refer to the nearest Nephilim Pharmacy."

Then she introduced the new potions that they were going to release. They were, Breath of Poison Resistance, a potion that helped in resisting almost all poisons of the same grade. Breath of Nutrition, a nutrition potion that tasted like the consumer's favourite food. And Breath of Life, a healing potion. The rest of the gala went by in a blur. After the event ended, the adults had a small party back at home. Zeke and Cass were too tired and had gone to sleep.
