Chapter 17

Standing in front of the pieces that were remained. Some of the dragon's teeth, it's spikes, and other features that could be sold in the market. "These could help pay some rent." Yhur quickly collected with a brighter than usual smile on his face.

"You still say that you need to 'pay' rent knowing that your family is privileged enough." Mac said, yet still help carrying the items.

Yhur simply answered that he didn't want to be a burden. He is a full grown adult, so he should learn how to do things by himself. Or Mac could pay the rent by himself.

Suddenly, Mac quickly collected the higher detailed and bigger drops and putting them into his bag, "Alright is there any more?" He smiled sparklingly. "You're just the same." Yhur punched.

Jun stood there, still tired from all the energy-consuming activities that he's done in less than a day. He looks back to the sheets of commissions on his hand, as weird as it was, he didn't want to go home quite yet.

It was fun, fighting and running around as if there was nothing to pressure him with deadlines.

A worried soft smile appeared on his face, he grabbed the paper tightly. "Akh!" A stranger suddenly pats his back surprising him. A robe that hides the race's full features. Even a shadow inside the hood that refuses any light that had been given from the sun.

The stranger sticks out their hand slowly, causing Jun to be slightly cautious. The strangers he had met so far were rather picking a fight, there was a big chance this could want the same.

But the stranger just so suddenly grabbed Jun's hand before he could even realise the feeling. Was he in danger? Jun thought in the long 3 seconds. Though, only something felt heavier on his palm.

"Thank you for saving the village." The stranger suspiciously blurted out. Jun started getting confused, yet the person unknowingly disappeared after a single blink. "Eh?" He tried looking left and right over and over again. But the stranger truly did disappear without a trace. Was it a ghost? Jun started felling shivers up his spine.

"Oi Jun, help us for a bit- what's that?" Yhur approached, getting curious on what was on Jun's hand. Jun was curious as well, he opened his palm.

It was a purple key. Seeing it, Yhur's eyes widened. For some apparent reason, he started looking around both left and right, as if he was searching for something. "Who gave you this?" He questioned Jun. Shaking his head, he didn't know who the stranger was. Even thinking that the stranger was some sort of spirit.

"Is it bad? Will it give me bad luck? WILL IT CURSE ME-"

"Shut up, no it won't." Yhur covered Jun's blabbering mouth as the overreaction started.

Yhur tried to explain the purpose of the key, "It's a-" "AGH" Yhur was interrupted by the sudden flick of hair a girl did to Jun's long bangs. It was the girl from previously, Sena Tinmai.

"How does having shaggy, over grown bangs that stab your eyes every time feel like?" Sena managed to say it in one of the most insulting way possible. Jun was shocked aback by the teenage girl's statement. She managed to see the sheets of paper that was held on by Jun, she grabbed them and check each of them one by one.

She smirked, "pay me my share!"

Both Yhur and Jun became completely confused. "Y-YOUR share?" Jun questioned her. She took out the specific sheet of paper and showed it to his face. "This one." The showed.

It was a certain commission, a rather unusual one to say.

It was posted as a commission to save the exact village they were in from the upcoming trouble. Which was rather odd despite the date of the commission was posted 2 years ago. Did the person posting it perhaps have an advantage of future reading or predictions?

They were unsure, or maybe a person from the past who came to the future to warn them. That knowing, Yhur's eyes slightly widened and looked around.

"Jun, you got this key from a person, am I right? Have you seen where they maybe have went?" Grabbing the bottom of Jun's hoodie gently. Yet Jun simply answered by shaking his head, saying that the person had mysteriously disappeared after a blink of an eye. A ghost or someone with multiple advantages like Yhur could be a logical guess.

"So uhhhhh.. Share?" Sena snapper Jun out of his thoughts. Which made Jun completely focused back into how he should give the shares.

"Since I basically brought a dragon to life, 90% should go to me right?" Jun tried to keep most of the money to himself. "90%?! I should get at least 30%!!" Sena shouted, knowing that both Yhur and Mac will probably only sell the dropped items from the dragon's body.

There would be no problem if the shares weren't shared to them. "Then, 25%?" Jun tried convincing. "NO WAY!"

She got mad in a cute way. Clearly showing she was still an immature child, with a decently smart thinking. Jun knew their arguement would just lead to nothing, yet he still tried to defend himself by saying, "Well, my body bled so much because I had to create the dragoonnnn..." Jun said as his voice started getting softer. And suddenly collapsing.

"Bangs?"

"Jun?"

"Jun?"
