World Overview

Walking along a busy street in downtown Atlanta, Michael and Alicia are hurrying away from the hospital hoping that one notices their abrupt exit. He's now dressed in the clothes that were piled into the hospital room's corner, a faded black hoody and tan cargo shorts with old black shoes. Uriel is following closely behind speaking to Michael telepathically. This world looks similar to his, except for the flying cars you'll see flying by every fifteen minutes, and the technology looking a bit more advanced.

(So Uriel, do you know how this works and also why her eyes are glowing like that?) asked Michael as he keeps sneaking looks at Alicia's bizarre but beautiful eyes.

(I'll start talking about the world structure first and get to her later. First, this world has the same countries as yours, except for a few differences here or there like the countries being twice as large as yours. The Presidential clan of America is the Corvinus clan, with the senate being ruled by other powerful clans who also support the country. London is ruled by the Vampire's and they are the ones who put a bounty on gravity users. I surmise this has something to do with one of the other champions but I can't say for sure. Then we have—-)

(How could one of the others know of my abilities? I thought your father said we aren't allowed that information. Also, that name of the Presidential clan is too familiar no?) Michael started to feel as if things were worse than he originally assumed.

(I can't speak on the last names being similar but no rules were broken in the contest thus far. Your talent choices were to be hidden, that doesn't include any individual abilities. Remember that my father let you pick your elements but they weren't the gift you asked for, so one of the other gods exploited the fact that gravity users are rare in this world. They don't know about your ability to devour, nor your physique.)

(Whatever just continue telling me about the world now.) Stated Michael who thought I was better not to argue the actions of a god.

(Africa is ruled by the elves, mostly the dark elves are predominate but the other elves make up great numbers as well. The dragons rule China second to no other species, while the Oni rule Japan. Russia is the homeland of the werewolves, and South America is the dwelling of the beast men. The devils are banished to Antarctica and the rest of the countries are ruled and inhabited by regular humans with super natural abilities. All of these great empires send their younger generation to the number one high school here in California to be trained together. That's also why the age of fourteen is a turning point in everyone's lives.)

(Why are all of these world powers so friendly as to send their geniuses to one school in America? This makes no sense at all.) After being a soldier at the highest level, Michael doubted whether this information made sense to him.

(Well, they do have disputes, but they try to keep bloodshed contained. There are rifts all throughout this world, in the rifts are monsters who are trying to invade this world. Rifts can be ranked from S Rank to F Rank with SS Ranked rifts simply being called world calamity's. The rifts are how everyone goes out to become stronger, gain resources, and temper themselves. The reason these countries can't indulge in war is because of the looming threat of a world calamity. That's also why they make all their geniuses go to the same school, to get familiar with each other and build connections.)

(So, what do they do to settle disputes? I can't see so many different men and women in power being as peaceful as you make it sound.) asks Michael who still harbored doubt

(They allow small scaled battles up until the A Rank, S Rank battles and above have to be official one on one duels and all parties involved have to agree. This is a pretty efficient plan if I may say so myself.) stated Uriel as she informed Michael.

(I guess that does make sense, but about Alicia's eyes?)

(They are divine eyes which unveil a person's information, mana flow, and can see through illusion talents up to a certain level. Very useful especially for you. The little missy here must've awaken recently and gained that S Ranked ability.) stated Uriel who had a slight glint in her eyes, she wanted to give Michael this information to entice him and gauge what he'd do.

(Can they be used to see what talents someone else has?) asked an interested Michael.

(Yes!)

While this talk took a while to explain, in the real world, only five minutes had passed and Alicia didn't notice the conversation that was being held behind her secretly.

They're walking down a sidewalk passing many people and stores in the downtown Atlanta area, Michael is reading the street and store signs so he picks up on the clues informing him of where he is.

(While we're talking about information, you must know that you can see all your information by stating "Status" out loud or mentally. It'll populate a panel that'll inform you of your current physical state.)

And as Uriel explained, a clear blue panel popped up displaying information for Michael.
