1 Re-born with an MMA System

After a few years of an ok life, Alex was bored. He has always dreamed of being a sport athlete and be able to make a living out of it.

For as long as he could remember, he wanted to become a professional football or rugby player. But because of his lack of talent, the opportunities that never appeared and life itself , he never achieved his dream.

His life was not this bad, it was not as exciting as he would want.

Alex lived in a small city in northern France, but when he turned 23 he moved to Asia for work.

He re-discovered martial arts, and specially Kung Khmer, a discipline similar to Muay Thai.

He got really interested in this, and despite his weak body , he followed training as much as he could.

He gradually got more curious and discovered MMA. He was amazed by how complete the athletes were. Stamina, technique, agility, speed, strength ... Name it ! They have it all.

Most of these super-athletes have been practicing all their lives and have strong backgrounds in different categories.

You could divide the fighters in 2 types.

The strikers : coming from sports such as Muay Thai, karate, taekwondo or boxing . They are experts in punching and kicking their opponents. They have a great understanding of distance and timing.

Grapplers : coming from sports such as wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo or Sambo.

Once the hold you, they know perfectly how to control you. They will be able to win by choke or make you abandon by various types of keys or chokes.

These categories were very obvious at the early stages of MMA , but nowadays you need to master everything to be a champion ! Any obvious weakness will be punished !

Alex was amazed to see how these champions continued improving their strength and still reached top level in their weaknesses.

He often though about how he would schedule his training if he were to re-start his life again

"Should I be all rounded ? Naaa ... if you do everything , then you do nothing! I need to be more strategic ..."

" I should start working on the basics. If I was to restart my life , I would first focus on my body!

1. flexibility

2. agility and mobility

3. stamina

I would work on my strength later to not alter my growth. I would have plenty of time later to lift weight ! "

" What discipline should I focus on ? Damn this one is difficult, I want them all !

Muay Thai is a must, but boxing is also so efficient ! And what about these Taekwondo kicks ? Not even talking about my ground game ...."

This is how Alex usually finds sleep at night thinking and re-thiking of what his life could have been...
