Alex woke up with a start, his heart racing as he sat up in bed. He had always been a light sleeper, but this was something different. He felt...different.

He looked down at his body, expecting to see his familiar gangly form, but instead he saw a muscular, toned physique. He couldn't believe his eyes. He was no longer the scrawny 16 year old he had been just hours ago.

Alex stumbled out of bed, trying to make sense of what was happening. He looked around his room, which was unchanged from the night before. Had this all been a dream?

As he made his way to the bathroom, he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and froze. He was unrecognizable. He had always been self-conscious about his appearance, but now he was...handsome. His messy brown hair was now a sleek chestnut color, and his acne-prone skin was clear and smooth.

He stood in front of the mirror for what felt like hours, trying to come to terms with the transformation. Eventually, he realized that he had to go to school. He couldn't hide in his room forever.
