CHAPTER ONE:

HYUN'S POV

I stared at the mirror as I brushed my hair, nothing was going right in my life after what happened to my dad, I was isolated at work, even my own students were righting mean comments in their books for me to read, I have been trying to hold it in but I knew I had to be strong since I had two younger sisters who must have been going through the same thing, a tear rolled down my cheek as I rushed to clean it after I heard a knock on my car's window," Hyuna, aren't you coming in ?" asked my friend Ha na I wasn't even sure how she still was so nice to me after every one was not," Iam." I said as I grabbed my bag and headed out," How was your night?" she asked," Well.." I said hesitantly well aware that all I did at night was stay up burying my self in books with hope of not over thinking," okay." I said with a fake smile, reaching the teachers lounge everyone gave me that usual look of disgust, I guess it's that disgusting being the daughter of a murderer," Good morning." I said softly as they all ignored me," I should get ready for my class." I said as I sat my desk and sighed," Mrs Kang, you needed by the principal." said a colleague of mine in an unfriendly voice," She's probably finally going to be fired." said one voice in the corner," Why wouldn't she, we have been receiving complaints from parents who are scared for their children, how can a murderers daughter be their teacher, it's absurd." said Mrs Lim she was the meanest of all, it was always that look she gave me from the day I joined the school, even before she knew my dad or even before these murder issues popped in she was always that bad and disgusting woman to me, sadly she now has a reason to run her mouth more, I picked up my phone and headed to principal's office, maybe it was okay to be fired, I would be able to not worry about all the insults but where would the money to feed my sister's come from then, Kang Yuri is still in highschool, Kang Mina wants to join a prestigious music school, these are all dreams I just can't throw under the carpet, I breathed in and out as I knocked on the door," Come in." the principal said as I walked in.....

"Iam sure you well aware of the reputation you have in our school right now?" he asked as I nodded," I've received complaints from your colleagues who find it uncomfortable to work with you and the parents of children who can't stand the thought of you being the teacher of their children, with all that out into account, I would like you to resign." he said shamelessly, I stared at him with anger in my eyes," How can I resign?" I said as my voice started to break," I haven't done anything wrong so how can I resign." I added as he suprisingly stared at me, I guess he was wondering where I got the guts to react the way I did," Are you asking me such a question, you haven't done anything but your family is currently exposed to the world, your shameless father murdered his colleague at work, how is that any small of a matter, I didn't call you here so we could discuss anything with you, it has already been decided by the board, you either resign peacefully and leave here with your monthly paycheck or get fired and leave with nothing, it's up to you, you can now get out of my office." he added angrily as I stood to leave, my chest felt heavy so I rushed to the bathroom where I squat in a corner and sobbed, I mean how did everything go from good to bad in a matter of months, I felt my self crushing, the bathroom became stuffy, I started losing my eye sight and fell to the floor.

" Mom...I shouted as I followed her from behind, she was going further and further from me, Mom please stop, I added as I woke up, only to see my self in the sick bay, I had a cannula on my left hand, I also felt dizzy," You can have some more rest." said the school nurse as she touched my forehead," look I know what's happening to you isn't the best thing that could happen to anyone but you need to take good care of your health..." she added as she warmly smiled at me, it was rear to see that especially in these two months," I should get going" I said as turned to remove the cannula." It's not yet over, first have some rest she said as she laid me back to bed, I stared across the room and back to her," Hyuna!" called out Hana," Your phone has been ringing non stop, it must be something important." she said as I stood from the bed and picked it up," Is this Mrs Kang..." said the person on the other side of the call," Well it's Mrs Park, Kang Yuri's home room teacher..can you come over to school." she said as I immediately sensed something wrong, I stood up ignoring both the nurse and Hana's call and rushed to where I had been called...

YURI' POV

" Why did you hit your class mate?" said my teacher as he stared at me with rage, I looked back at Shin Hye who I had slapped across the face," she was being mean and calling me names." I said as she interrupted to explain," I was just stating facts every one in school, in the city knows what her dad did, I was just stating facts of how unlucky she is losing her Mom at birth and then her dad being a mu..." she hesitated as she stared back and me and smirked, " You!!" I said as I stood from my seat almost grabbing her hair," Park Yuri!" get back to your seat, and so should you Shin Hye." shouted Mrs Park as she entered the room, " since this wasn't a one person assault but a fight I have called both your guardians over, so untill they get here you should calm down and reflect more on what you did." she added as I held my grip and sat staring on the other side, what fault did I have? slapping someone for talking I'll about my family, did it make me seem like iam defending my dad, I thought to myself as tears rolled down my cheek.

" Iam really sorry about what my sister did to your daughter." my sister said as she bowed down to Shin Hye's Mom," What are you doing, she should apologize for being mean to me?" I said as I pulled her up, " Haven't you caused enough trouble already, let me fix this so it doesn't become a big issue." she said as she bowed again," Well I'll let it slide this time, but please teach your sister some manners, having been raised without a mom she clearly lacks some." she said as I shouted," You!!!" I stared back at my sister who was doing nothing , I hated that about her she made us feel desparate even in the eyes of people who were clearly the bad ones towards us," Let's go." Shin Hye's Mom said as they left hand in hand, " what are you doing still bowing?" I shouted as she stood up and stared at me," She was the mean one so why didn't you say anything about that, you could have called her out." I added angrily," Why do you always act before you think, do you think that if I had talked back at her then the issue would have ended here, no you could have even lost a place in the school, would you have been okay if that happened." she said," Yes, I've been suffocating in this school for the past two months, hearing insults, being bullied because of dad, I have been struggling to keep my self together, if they had chased me then a would have been so happy to escape this hole this prison." I said as I turned to leave," one more thing unnie, being nice to people who treat you wrongly isn't maturity it's just you ignoring your feelings to make your enemies strong, they get the power to treat you even worse.." I added as I rushed out," Par Yuri!!" she yelled as I ran further and further...untill I couldn't hear her call out to me any more.
