While I was thinking this I suddenly heard the door opening and a middle-aged lady coming inside the room before I can even properly look she ran and hugged me who was still sitting on the edge of the bed .

I startled at the sudden action since I was a orphan I didn't usually recieved hugs such as these .

I instinctively pushed the woman away and was ready to punch her as my fighter instincts just kicked in since living in a environment of constant gang fights a moment of carelessness can get you killed just like how I got shot . If not for the poor reflexes of this skinny body I wouldn't have allowed that woman to get so close to me .

I almost punched her but stopped at seeing the sight in front of me . A woman who looked not a day older than thirty stood in front of me a look of confused could be seen on her face obviously confused by my sudden reaction to her hug.

The woman had golden - blonde hair which reached above her waist giving her a explicit look. The eyes were beautiful blue colour with sharp eyebrows and sharp jawline .

The body was properly proportionate at right places , she wore a blue gown with golden strips which perfectly matched her eyes and hair . She still looked like the most beautiful woman chris has ever seen despite tears and a little snot running down the woman's face .

He knew she was Charles's ( now him ) mother and instantly lowered his hand . He remembered from his memories that he was suffering from heart disease from a few months . ' He must have passed away in sleep before I took his body ' he thought to himself .

And just like the most cliche thing in ever isekai novel where MC wakes in a poor boy's body who either died from hunger or was killed but founds himself perfectly healthy after MC transmigrates in the battered body , I found out that my body was perfectly healthy no pain in chest or near heart and completely healthy.

The woman relieved after seeing her child was okay . She said " Charles how are you feeling now , is there any pain , should I call the doctor or -- " she was cut off by Chris before she could continue.

I cut her off and said " M-Mom I-I- I am fine I was just a little tired but in fact I am feeling better than ever now so don't worry also I think I am good enough to attend the breakfast together with family downstairs" . Chris spoke whatever he could remember from Charles's memories, he tried his best to act like him but couldn't help but stutter at start because he never called someone Mom before he was obviously a little awkward but quickly corrected himself.

His mom suddenly became extremely happy and started to jump a little and after hugging him once again and telling him to get himself ready and to take it easy she dashed out of the room with a big smile on his face . Chris knew from the memories that it's been months se Charles last ate together with his family even though they always used to eat together before he got sick.

I was feeling warm inside , it was the first time I have ever felt the feeling of a family , the feeling of a mother , the feeling of love , I had already started to think myself as Charles and Sandra ( Charles's mother ) as my own mother I even felt a warmth feeling when I thought about Charles's father .

But I quickly got over that and did the first thing that every MC who transmigrated does . I took a quick look to see if anybody was near me and after confirming that I was alone I said excitedly " System " . From the countless manga's and web novel's I read I thought that maybe I too would have gotten a system that would help me become the most powerful man in the world and let me conquer the world and become a monarch of the entire world , but I was disappointed as nothing happened.

Although I could see my status screen that screen only showed me my current capabilities and achievements, it was just a measure of my own power and everyone on this world from humans to elves to beastmen had this status screen and it wasn't a all powerfull system that would give me various quests and rewards .

Seeing that I did not got a system I got sad actually I was heart broken but I got over it as I thought about a few novel's where MC doesn't recieves a system. I thought ' who knows maybe I am transmigrated into a body of a cheat who has super potential or maybe even has a unique body with which I may not even need a system to become the strongest.

Although seeing that this body died from heart disease I didn't have much hope but I was at least a little hopeful .

I stood up and walked over to the bathroom attached to my room. I got fresh took a bath and properly cleaned myself , while doing so I saw that this body was extremely skinny . He knew that it wasn't always like this , this body was originally very fir as Charles was a hard working child who trained daily and practiced his family sword art whenever he got the time .

After bathing I went to the dressing room to pick up a set of clothes and then for the first time i looked in the mirror . Black hair inherited from the father and beautiful blue eyes from mother looked especially charming. The black hair were smooth and shining and the eyes looked sharp and elegant at the same time beautiful. It would have given a aura of power and strength if not for his sunken cheeks which made his overall looks only slightly above average .

He didn't care much and went downstairs after randomly wearing a set of clothes he could find , at the food table were his father and mother were already waiting for him. Charles sat on the table and could see the happy faces of his parents. As the food was served his father asked " Charles, how are you feeling ? Is there any improvement in your health? "

I looked at his face and said " Yeah father I am feeling much better right now it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say I feel totally fine now , like I have never ever even been sick . I think I am fine now ".

Charles's father name was Roan Alexander , He was a middle-aged man and was very handsome with shiny black hair and dark brown eyes which always appeared cold in Charles's memories but right now his eyes were tilted towards his cheeks and we're just a little far from crying. It was clear from his face how much happy he was after hearing his son's statement.

Roan quickly stood up and ordered the butler close by to call the family doctor . The butler bowed and left and almost immediately came with the doctor . It seems the doctor was already on standby in case anything goes wrong . The doctor quickly examined Charles and almost fell back from the shock .

Roan hurriedly asked the doctor about his sudden reaction , after getting back to his senses from the question asked he quickly regain his composure he said in a time which sounded like he himself couldn't believe what he was saying he said " Mr. Roan it seems Charles is already cured, there are no signs of disease left in his body , he is now perfectly healthy" .

Seeing the unbelievable expression on my parents faces I said " Actually I have been feeling a little better since few days at first I thought that it was just my imagination but as my health continued to improve in last few days I knew that my health was improving but I didn't knew that I have been completely cured ". I said whatever came to my mouth coming with a possible explanation of what happened.

A brief look of disbelief came in my parents faces but they immediately changed their expression and started hugging me and kissing me . I knew my explanation was half- hearted but it seems my parents didn't care as long as their son's health improved they didn't care about how .

I was thankful to be born in such a loving family . After showing their affection for some time we again started to eat breakfast while eating my head was filled was various thoughts .

I wasn't someone like typical isekai MC's who wanted to live in the fantasy world peacefully and without ambition. I wanted to fight , become stronger and conquer the world , maybe potentially form my own harem , for that i have to become stronger and I knew where to take the first step towards my dreams should be .
