19 You are planning to go to Yun Mansion.

As Liu Si Si hugged Yun Meiyi, Yun Meiyi also reciprocated her warmth. Patting on her back softly, she cooed in gentle breaths. "I know and I am not upset with you. There is nothing for you to feel guilty about." She said before pulling away to give her a soft smile.

Si Si blanked out at her words. If she remembers it right, this shouldn't have been her lines. Didn't she sever her ties with Le Tian before? Blinking her eyes, she stared at her friend as she asked with a doubt, "YiYi, are you sure? I mean you know it right that I have been talking to Le Tian. Are you sure that you are alright with that?"

Yun Meiyi's movements paused for a moment, but soon she resumed beating the eggs. "In the past, I knew Tian was not wrong that year, Si Si. It was just that he lost faith in me too early. By the time I would have proven him innocent, he already left thinking that I didn't believe him. And when I realized his thoughts, he was already gone."

"You mean to say that you were never exactly upset with him." Liu Si Si couldn't believe it.

Meiyi shook her head as she leaned to the side counter to take the flour to mix in the batter. While on the side, Liu Si Si had been all dumbfounded. She couldn't blame YiYi for hiding her heart, it had been their fault for not trusting her enough. All of a sudden, she started to feel stupid. If only they had known this before, all these years she wouldn't have to do extra work reporting everything to Le Tian.

Putting a sullen face, she looked at Yun Meiyi. "So, you mean if Le Tian comes back tomorrow, he would again grow more closer to you, YiYi? You would again side with him more than you side with me?"

Yun Meiyi shook her head internally suppressing a giggle. She really fears that if even one of her fans comes to know about her such childish attitude around her, they would rule out the title of Mature Queen with which the industry knows the woman.

Not replying to her callow-sounding questions, she instead turned to say, "The batter for the pancakes is all ready. I just have to make the eggs. I hope till everything gets set at the table, Ms. Liu gets ready as well. I don't want to delay my remaining plans for the day." She said as she gestured to her towards the room.

Liu Si Si peered, "Did you say you have plans for the day? What plans are you talking about?" She asked, her eyes twinkling with curiosity.

Yun Meiyi pursed her lips at her and it was a hint for the woman to understand the time wasn't right to test her nerves. Swallowing down the lump that she felt forming in her throat, she was quick to concede. "Fine, I would get fresh first so that I don't delay our brunch. But you have to tell me your plans later. If possible, I would invite myself into it on my own."

She said and before Yun Meiyi could say more, Si Si was already off her way. Looking at her running away, Yun Meiyi had nothing more to say. Shaking her head at her, she turned to walk towards the refrigerator to get some more eggs.

Not long after, the aroma of freshly prepared pancakes filled the nostrils of Liu Si Si, who sat at the table enjoying breakfast with a smile. The sullenness that her expression held before was all gone.

Yun Meiyi looked at her wholeheartedly and couldn't help but ask, "Is it good?" The girl accepted it with a nod, without caring to use any word of appreciation. Meiyi's brows arched up as keeping her knife and fork down, she kept her hands over the table before supporting her face onto it to add, "I heard Americans often have these dishes, how come you still look like you haven't had them for years? Were they not serving you good?"

Liu Si Si pouted before forking another sliced piece of pancakes into her mouth. "What do you know? They have been keeping me on a strict diet all this while to make me match the Asian beauty standards. I even told them that no matter how and what I eat, my body constitution won't make me fat, but they simply didn't want to take the risk. Hmph."

"So, you are actually having a cheat day here?" Yun Meiyi asked, quirking her one brow up at her. Her voice didn't sound like before, rather it became intimidating, making Si Si pause in her movements. "Do you not care for the commitments you have given to your upcoming movie?"

Liu Si Si was taken aback by that question for a moment, but then composing herself back, she blinked her eyes like a puppy at her, "YiYi, others might not believe me but will you also side with them? You already know I don't gain weight easily. Furthermore, I am just having this today since you have prepared it. Won't you allow me?"

Yun Meiyi was not surprised with her dramatics. The girl has always been like that around her. Sighing, she wiped her lips with the napkin kept on the side and then said, "Fine. Everything prepared here is all yours. Have it until your heart is content and then rest. I will leave first."

Saying that she stood up to leave the table when Liu Si Si asked, "Wait, are you leaving already? Where are you going?"

Meiyi paused before turning to say with a smile, "Although you have many clothes here that fit me well, still I have to get mine. I can't just leave my stuff behind."

She said, and the next moment, Liu Si Si shot up from her chair. "You are going to Yun mansion?"
