The next morning, Yun Meiyi woke up as usual. In fear of getting disappointed again, when she went out to jog, she didn't turn to look in the direction of the kitchen, fearing that she might not find the one she was almost craving to look at.
But being inconsiderate to her efforts, disappointment found its way to her nevertheless. When she got down to leave for the office, the butler came forward to ask her about the breakfast.
"Madam, will you have your breakfast here? Or should we pack …"
Yun Meiyi shook her head. "I will have it here. Please ask someone to set it for me." She said with a smile and the butler nodded to her before walking away to get on her said orders.
The breakfast was soon set on the table and Yun Meiyi wasn't surprised to not find the one she was ignoring yet craving for seeing sitting at the table. She had guessed somewhere in her heart that he might not be there to have the meal with her again.
