Almost wrote a poem about him.

Liu Si Si noticed the lost expression of Yun Meiyi and her eyes twinkled. Nudging softly on her arms, she asked gently, without breaking the trance Yun Meiyi was lost in. "You got someone's face in your thoughts, right?"

Yun Meiyi nodded unknowingly. And Liu Si Si was excited enough to clap, but she held back and asked again, "Is he really as handsome as I mentioned?"

Yun Meiyi nodded again. In her thoughts, already revising the look she remembered. "Mhm. I don't know about the whole universe but his looks did look unrivaled to the ones I have met or have in my memories. With eyes in a different shade of amber that look more like fire, his face did look exquisite enough to charm any woman's heart."

"Really? Is he that good?" Seeing Yun Meiyi praise someone like that, Liu Si Si's imagination spiked up at once. No longer able to control herself from clapping in elation, she said, "Come on, then tell me his name and I would help you know if he could be compared to anyone in the universe or not. How about we fix a meet-up with him tonight? We will have dinner together and then I will also help you test him."

She said and at her exhilarated voice like that, Yun Meiyi was snapped out from her reverie. Blinking her eyes at the girl, she took a while to understand what had happened and when she realized it, she just pursed her lips and stared at the girl as if she was some alien. "What name are you asking for? I have no name in my head."

She denied and Si Si squinted her eyes at her before getting up and pulling her along to sit on the sofa that was behind. "YiYi, am I not your friend? Why are you lying? You just described the man with fiery amber eyes and …"

"And lots of overconfidence. Yep, I mentioned him but that was all I know about him. I don't know him nor do I know his name." Before Liu Si Si could say more, Yun Meiyi interrupted to clear the doubts. Her tone held an irritation as if she had gotten teased by the person and the feeling was too overwhelming for her.

When Liu Si Si heard her like that, she didn't miss her tone and understood her emotions well. It was rare but since she has witnessed it herself, she could believe that finally there had come a man who could get on the nerves of her friend and make her feel alive, otherwise all these years, Yun Meiyi was nothing but a lifeless doll who was used to go according to other's wishes without caring for her own.

Quirking her brows at the irked expression, Liu Si Si suppressed a chuckle and nodded. "Oh, is that so? But in your previous statement, you didn't mention this but almost wrote a poem about his beauty. For once I even thought that you have gotten charmed by him." She said and Yun Meiyi glared at her.

But then not saying anymore, she looked at the clock and switched the topic to say, "It's already so late in the morning. Do you plan to spend time gossiping about an unimportant person? I never knew you got such free time."

"The person who could make you think about him couldn't be unimportant, YiYi," Si Si said on a whim but then bit her tongue when felt Meiyi's eyes turning sharply at her. Chuckling out, she shrugged her shoulder and rectified, "I-I mean gossip is done about unimportant people. Why would anyone gossip about someone that holds meaning in their life?"

Yun Meiyi looked at her friend and understood her very well. So, to make it clear for her understanding, she added once again, "He was just a stranger and holds no meaning in my life."

"Understood!" Liu Si Si nodded with some affirmation and Meiyi could no longer get bothered with her.

Shaking her head, she simply stood up to say, "Fine then. I will go and get freshened up first. It's already late. Once I am done, I will prepare brunch for us. You have things in your kitchen, right?"

Liu Si Si scratched her forehead lightly and said, "I will order the things. The supermarket is not far away. They would deliver in no time."

Yun Meiyi smiled and then nodded. "Okay, then, I would go and freshen up first then." She said and was about to turn and walk away when from behind, Si Si's words halted her.

"YiYi, I don't know who that person is, but I must say just his thought was enough to make you forget all the pains. Even though he is a stranger, I would really like to meet him. Even if it is for the smallest moment, he made you smile like the girl I used to remember in memories. And believe me, I have truly missed her, and seeing her back in you, I am happy."

She said and Yun Meiyi didn't refute her. Not because she accepted what she said about that stranger, but she, herself, realized that slowly and gradually she was getting back to the personality that she had kept suppressed in her all these years. And the feeling of getting back to her true self was really amazing.

"I have yet not brought my clothes here; I would borrow some from your closet." Yun Meiyi said before finally walking away.

Behind, Si Si smiled and chimed, "Of course, our sizes are the same. My clothes will fit you perfectly. Take any piece you like; they are all in my closet." She said while pulling her phone out to make a call to the supermarket. She wanted to have this cohabitation with her friend for so long. It was only now that it has become possible.

As Liu Si Si was beaming with her own happiness, a message popped up on her phone that made her frown.
