43. A secret coincidently.

Liu Si Si was dumbfounded for a moment. She looked at Yun Meiyi and quirked up her brow in startlement. "Your secretary? You had one?"

Yun Meiyi simply shrugged her shoulders as she turned to go back to sit on the sofa. "Shouldn't I have one? I mean if not a secretary, how do you think I am managing it all? I could barely leave the Yun mansion before. I needed someone to look over things for me. So yes, I always have one by my side."

She said and for some reason, Liu Si Si still couldn't digest it all. Blinking her eyes in surprise for a moment, she strutted her way to her friend, before getting up on the sofa on her knees.

"My precious, you had a secretary, how come no one ever knew this? I never heard of Xiao Xiao. And believe me, even though I have been in the top chain of Feathering Heights, I know almost all of the people there."

Yun Meiyi was not amazed. Rather, being all nonchalant to it, she said, "Xiao Xiao has been there looking after my things for a long time. Although she might not be too involved with Feathering Heights alone, she has enough power to do whatever I ask her to do."

Her words didn't seem to help Liu Si Si in her confusion. The more she heard Yi Yi, the more she felt the world spinning around her. "Yi Yi, do you mean Feathering Heights is not just the one company you own. You also have another one?"

Yun Meiyi nodded plainly. She knew that it was surprising to the people who knew that in the past she never left the house until her presence was required somewhere. But this was the truth that she always kept a secret. Not intentionally, but more like to say coincidently. She never felt like it was important to say it out loud. After all, she was a Yun who was promised to wed in the Su family as the decided marriage arrangement.

What was the need to show off?

But Liu Si Si's thoughts were different. She was already idolizing Yun Meiyi for being the successful CEO of Feathering Heights. If there were more, wouldn't she have a greater reason to idolize her?

"Which other companies do you have, Yi Yi?"

"Umm … Other than Feathering Heights, there's another major company I established back then. Although I have not yet considered its value, as per Xiao Xiao, it has been growing well. Because of that one company, I might be a major shareholder in many other companies."

Yun Meiyi said, giving particular thought to the topic while Liu Si Si simply found it hard to swallow the information.

"How can that be possible, Yi Yi? How can that be possible? You stayed back at home looking at Yun Mansion, helping in the household, and also guiding the Su company's consultant. When did you get time to start another company and achieve so much?"

"I never got time. I just felt like I had a lot of money saved from the pocket money that I used to receive every now and then. So, I took some time to study the market graph and invested in them here and there. I got lucky and received good returns which enabled me to establish it all. That's it." Yun Meiyi explained as if it didn't take her hard work; rather everything came served to her on a silver platter.

Liu Si Si couldn't help but roll her eyes at her attitude. If it really had been so simple, how did only she get lucky to receive so much returns? There were hundreds of people in the city itself who were in the business of investing in the market. How did they never get so lucky?

This could only be reasoned if Heaven comes down to Earth to accept that they favored Yi Yi more than anyone else in this world.

"Yi Yi, you better not make it sound so easy? With you always kept under the supervision of people it must be tough for you. You were hardly allowed to meet any of us." Liu Si Si knew this better than anyone. "Also why didn't you tell anyone in your family about this? Your father should know that the daughter he used to despise was not as he thought. And I wanted to see Yun Jiaqi's face as well after she had realized how much more useless, she was in front of you."

She said and Yun Meiyi pursed her lips at her. "If told, wouldn't she have also planned to take all of this from me? Did you want that?"

Liu Si Si at once shook her head. "Definitely not. I want to see you slap her face. Why would I want to see her getting all the money that came from your hard work? Definitely not." She said and Yun Meiyi smiled.

"Then keeping it secret was a good idea."

She said and Liu Si Si thought for a moment and then frowning at a thought, she turned to ask, "But Yi Yi, what if they come to know about it now?"

Yun Meiyi was at ease. Since she left the Yun Mansion, she stopped caring about any of the people living there. "Let them know. The Yun family had no shares in my money. Even though I have used their money to establish this all. I have given them back everything with proper returns. So, both legally and morally, I am no longer bound with them."

Liu Si Si understood and relaxed as well. Finally, taking a proper lady-like seat on the sofa, she let Yun Meiyi work on her phone while she smiled on her own. There was more on the list with which she could flaunt about Meiyi now.

Even if the investment company is some small company, it was still something Yi Yi established on her own, wouldn't it make her more capable than anyone in the high-class socialite society?

Of course, it will! Also, from now on since Yi Yi would have time to look after her company on her own, it would only grow.

Turning all dreamy for her friend, Si Si smiled sheepishly. Then swinging her legs down, she asked, "By the way, Yi Yi, what is the name of your investment company? Would you allow me to have some shares of it? I want to support you and gain some returns from it as well."

"Sure! If you have free savings, it's not a bad plan to invest." Yun Meiyi said and hearing her agree, Liu Si Si hummed.

"Great! Then what's the name of your company?"

Being busy checking the mails in her box, Yun Meiyi lightly mumbled. "Search for Global Heights. Research well before investing."

And Liu Si Si at once sprang on her foot while turning to look down at Meiyi in horror. "What did you say? Which company should I search for?"
