My father turned silent. Runi was just shocked beside me. She urged me not to speak anymore by silently tugging my arm.

“Natalia? I thought we have talked about this? Is the General mistreating you?” he asked.

I need to tell the truth to my father if I want to get out of here. “Yes, Father. The General has ordered for Runi and I stay inside his mansion until the thief who almost snatched my phone is caught because accordingly, he is a Gionite…”

I rant until my father’s ears could have bled. I am particularly curious to why he was silent the whole time. After I told him about how even Marcial is afraid of the domineering General, I say, “Father? Have you been listening to me?”
