1 Chapter 1 {The School System}

Rankings are what define us. Higher the ranking, higher the fame. That's how it works in the world. Our school, Antilana High values rankings more than any other. Not only have we won the Magic Arena Battle 9 years in a row, the headmistress of our school is the one and only world-wide champion. No one and I mean NO ONE has ever beaten her in a battle. Everyone in this school battles each other on a regular basis just to rise to the top. Every year the top five students are sent to represent Antilana high in the M. A. B. worldwide competition. Currently, Perian a wolf holds the top spot in our school. Not far behind is Alicia, a rabbit. Sunset the bear takes spot #3, Jade the nature angel takes 4th, and lastly Alex a cat nabs the 5th spot. But when anyone sees me... all I get is a scowl. I'm the first fox anyone has seen in 15 years yet.. I'm considered a disgrace. I hold spot 1237. Last place in the whole entire school. I can only imagine winning the M. A. B. "And Lily Fanian knocks raining champion Perian Cafliing!" The announcer would say. "1ST PLACE GOES TO LILY!!" she would no longer be a disgrace rather, a hero.
