The Backrooms

There's a mechanic in almost every level with lights. You may see the mechanic on a ladder fixing a light that had been blinking or broken. You may even see them walking with their ladder or tool box in hand to a place. If you follow him you will soon lose track of them somehow and find yourself in a different level. If you try to strike a conversation with them, they will talk with you. If you ask them a question they will answer it but if you ask something about the backrooms like how do you escape it, it will respond with 'What are you talking about? What backrooms?' As it seems it is currently unaware that they reside in the backrooms or that they can simply not ask questions. They like to joke around with some. Those who try to attack them will end up with a wrench or screwdriver lodged in their head or eye. If you ask them about one of the levels they will act confused but if you describe a level to them they will state the name of the level and give you information. Though it does not state any other entities names it will describe them to you and give them human names. If you ask its name, it will simply ask your name back. He will remember your name and tell others about you because it may have forgotten to tell you something and will ask other people to deliver you a message if you ever meet them. It will ignore you if you ask him his name once again after he knows your name. Do not steal his tools as he will find you and @&;$&: @;&$;&:$:&:&&;- "-&;&;@:&. We wouldn't want that, now do we? If you ask for his tools nicely he will give it to you but the next time you meet him you must return his tools. So you better not lose them. If you ask to stay with him or for him to walk with you, then you will end up in a 'friends house' as he calls it. Act courteously in friends house or else. He is rare to spot as you have to be at the right place in the right time. He is there in the level most likely but not where you spawn sometimes. Most find him helpful as he would share food and water with you if he has any and you ask kindly. Do not offend him in any way. If you ask where other humans are then he will simply point. If you ask him to bring you to other humans, hr will bring you to a corpse or simply describe a level to you where he last saw one. Entities do not get too close to him as they seem to fear them. The more intelligent ones are not scared as much. If a human is with him when an entity spots them, the entity will stand still watching you until you get out of sight. The mechanic seems like a man in his 20's or 30's but if you ask him his age he will either shrug or joke saying 'Isn't that rude to ask a person their age?' He is one of the fairly safer options of entities to run into. You can ask to borrow his flashlight as he always has one on his waist. If he doesn't then run as that means someone has not returned it and he has not gotten it back. He will not be in a good mood so if you do talk to him and only realize after he does not have something then run. As it is rumored he uses the bodies of humans to make his tools.
