Saying so, he straighten his back and stood with a heroic aura around him. Looking deep into the locker room, he realize that was where the voice arose.

Without wasting time, he use his axe to break one of the locke.

A basketball shirt, trousers and sneakers were inside. He took off the lab dress, standing nude he hastily wore the basketball clothes.

Taking a deep breath, Noah shot the hall a look and then with a speed twofold that of a human.

_Tsk, I can't risk wasting a single moment saving you while my family conditions are unknown_ He thought as he halved a zombie into two while still running.

Dashing forwards again, he raises his axe and hacks down hard towards the beast's skull.

Seeing right into it, Noah twists his limbs in a weird manner which allows his body to dodge the attack, sending the beast brushing past him.

Not wanting to miss this chance he decided to go for the kill.

With his left arm throbbing with muscles. Noah's dim purple eyes were as calm as the stars. He whacks down on the belly.

Seeing how immersed the pain was for the beast, Noah struck the beast again and again.

He didn't stop there as he roll down and strike the underbelly of the beast.

Blood gushed out of the wound.

Suddenly the beast lifts its head high in the sky and lets out an ear-piercing roar into the sky.

Right then, its body starts increasing.

_The legendary berserk state!

Without wasting time, he turns around and picks up his speed. He was barely strong to face a regular beast and now it is going all out.

Well, a professional fighter won't do that. Rather, he/she will take that chance and land a killing blow on the beast.

Noah, who hasn't run far suddenly felt a chill down his spine as all the hair in his body rose up.

Without hesitating, Noah rolls sideways.

A paw the size of a tricycle tire landed right where Noah was supposed to be, leaving a footprint there.

Noah after rolling finally uses that chance to flip himself up and stand. The moment he saw the beast he was shocked to the core.

Standing over 3.2 meters tall, with all hairs on its back standing like pins.

The beast with its red eyes glare at Noah and let out a loud roar.

It was more like a mental attack as Noah felt a sharp pain in his head but still suppressed it, he knew this was a life-and-death moment.

The slightest mistake will cost him his dear life.

_I Gotta stack all my games into this._ Gritting his teeth, he retreats while fighting the beast.

_Oh my fucking God! It is huge! I must run away!_ Jayden thought with an alarmed look as he prepares to escape.

Just then, he caught a glimpse of the person in the shadow and abruptly came to a halt.

_Isn't that Noah? Am I so scared that I am seeing hallucinations?_ He mutters inwardly as he retreats silently.

Not only him, even Bernard and the other guys were prepared to abandon or even use the females as sacrificial lambs just to survive.

Just like philosopher Muffins once said, _During times of death and life humans' desperate actions will reveal their true beast. During times when humans hold power and wealth, their true selves will be exposed but those with self-control can control it.
