It's already noon time when Nico woke up. Slowly opening his eyes, he let out a groan at the stiffness of his body. He turn his head to the mechanical clock on his bedside table, causing him to let out another groan when he saw the time.

Nico sees himself as a responsible person and waking up in the middle of the day is not being responsible in Nico's watch, at all. Thankfully he didn't have any commitments today, since he already finalized everything showcase related matters last night. Rehearsals won't be until tomorrow, so today Nico could just chill.

Nico slowly and lazily moved out of bed and walked down the stairs, heading to the bathroom, while yawing and rubbing his sleepy eyes.

As he slowly walks to the bathroom like a zombie, Nico never once noticed the weird stare that his roommate is giving him. Jae sat silently and comfortably on the couch, phone in hand, drinking coffee, starring at Nico with a calm expression but the emotions behind his eyes raged.

Once Nico has done all his business inside the bathroom, upon exiting, Nico made a beeline straight to the kitchen and started brewing tea. Sitting on the marble island table dividing the kitchen to the living room, Nico finally noticed Jae staring at him.

"Mornin'" Nico greeted sleepily before let out another yawn.

"You seemed pretty sleepy still. What were you doing last night?" Jae asked calmly, trying so hard to not freak out on the spot.

"Oh, I couldn't sleep well last night, so I went and played a little bit" Nico said while unlocking the million passwords on his phone.

"You seemed pretty calm" Jae said with a weird tone in his voice

"Why wouldn't I be?" Nico asked in confusion, raising a brow to him when he heard the weird tone in his roommate's voice.

"You really have no idea don't you?" Jae asked

"No, I don't. So, if you are kind enough, please do share. I just woke up and my brain can't handle this kind of hidden talk right now." Nico responded, rolling his eyes, slightly annoyed.

With a big sigh, Jae walked over the marble island and rests his left arm on the counter, while his right hand fiddle with his phone. Finally unlocking his phone, Jae showed Nico his phone screen.

Nico raised an eyebrow to Jae with the silent question "Why are you showing this to me?"

Jae responded by rolling his eyes before gesturing for Nico to just read what's on the phone, with his hand.

Letting out a sigh, Nico complied and skim through the article that Jae's showing him. At first Nico was very uninterested, but as he read more and more, his eyes became more wider and wider by the second. When he was done reading, Nico lifted his head to Jae with an expression of utter disbelief.

"Yes, you did that" Jae deadpanned, before his whole face is showered with tea, as Nico suddenly sprayed the tea that he was drinking out of his mouth.

Realizing what he did, Nico immediately grab a towelette from a wooded cabinet and handing it over to Jae with an apologetic expression "Sorry for that. It's just, I never expected for this to happened"

"No worries bro" Jae said as he wiped the tea out from his face and bare arms and body.

"You know what you did is a really big deal. The whole Rampage world is talking about it." Jae said while placing the towelette on the marble isle and looking at Nico with a grin on his face.

"Wait a minute" Nico lifted a finger before dashing out of the kitchen and grab his laptop from his bed.

Nico returned to the kitchen in records time and sat on the same island chair he was sitting in before. Nico then plugged in his mouse and move it from side to side, waking the laptop from its sleep mode.

Once his laptop screen lit up, the first thing he notice is the marble basin filled with pink water is now drained out of it's contents, while the <<Seed of the Spring>> and <<Yggdrasil Flower>> is all dried up. The <<Equinox Mirror>> beside the spherical orb is now shatter, as the orb now shines with incredible power.

Nico maneuvered for CherishedSong to pick up the orb. As CherishedSong's hand picked up the orb, a system message appeared on his screen.

"Oh my God, It's really real" Nico breathlessly said in disbelief.

Looking at the orb, it emanated a light pink glow while cherry blossoms gently swirling around it.

"Since not a lot of people play Arcane Poets, no one really thought that crafting a spirit is even possible." Jae said, now sitting beside Nico, with his own cup of coffee. "How did you even do it?"

"I honestly don't know." Nico replied honestly "I had the idea stuck in my head for so long but haven't been able to try actually doing it, until last night. I didn't even think that it would work. I was like 'Hey why not, since I have a lot of ancient items lying around, why not try out an experiment?'. So I went ahead and did it."

"You really are somethin else" Jae chuckled

As Nico stared at the orb, at the edge of his vision he saw something that made him groan.

"What?" Jae asked in confusion

Nico just waved his hand on his laptop screen, which made Jae crack out in laughter.

At the lower right side of Nico's laptop screen, there lay the mail icon with a red circle on the upper left side of it. In the circle is a number that indicates how many mail it is that the player has received. And currently Nico has received 340+ mails and counting.

"So much for keeping a low profile" Nico grumbled as he begrudgingly click on the mail icon.

Thankfully the first one that he saw is was a mail sent by Rampage.

Clicking on the mail, the mail contains as follows:

Congratulations on achieving an incredible feat in being the first ever player to craft a Black Diamond Spirit! And as such you are more that deserving to be recompensed.

Seeing the rewards given to him, Nico almost fell out of his chair.

"What the actual heck is happening" Nico said in complete disbelief and shock. What was happening was truly too much for him to handle that he could only slump back on his seat.

"What the F*beep*!" Jae shouted

"Language!" Nico turned to Jae, glaring at him.

"Sorry! Got way too excited." Jae swiftly apologized "But ho-lee! Like, really what the truck is happening. Holy trucking fish!"

Nico's hand flew at the speed of light, smacking the living daylights out of Jae, hitting at the back of his head out of nowhere.

Jae almost doubled over at the impact.

"F-" Jae was about to curse once again when he forced himself to stop when he saw Nico glaring at him. "Hey, I didn't say it, okay? I'm sorry, I'm not gonna say those things again." Jae lifted his hand in surrender.

Nico just let out a huff and returned his eyes towards his laptop screen.

"So, you got any plans for today?" Jae asked

"Since I don't have work today and rehearsals won't start until tomorrow, I was planning on just chilling today. But since all of this happened, I guess I'll be spending my day going through hundreds of mails." Nico sigh. So much for a vacation day.

"How bout you? Have you eaten already?" Nico turned to Jae and asked.

"Yeah, I already ate. I was just about to go to the gym." Jae responded as he walked over to the sink and carefully placed his empty mug.

"How's your body? Has it completely healed now?" Nico asked

"Pretty much. Just a little bit of uncomfy here and there." Jae reassured Nico

"That's good then." Nico nodded "Just don't over work yourself, okay?"

"Shouldn't I be telling you that?" Jae smirked at Nico

"Valid" Nico chuckled softly

"Welp, Imma head out now. See you in about an hour or two" Jae said as he put on a shirt and grab his little gym bag.

With that, Nico watched as Jae head out, silence filling the apartment once again. Nico put on his wireless earphones and started organizing the stuff that he'd just received as "gifts" as the Rampage management would call it.

Notes:

The items that the Rampage management has given him is not your typical kind of "gifts".

Exhibit A: It took Nico a very long time for him to acquire just one <<Jewel of the Golden Deity>>. Now Rampage had easily given him one like they were candies. Not to mention, <<Rouge of Reality>> and <<Helm of the Ruined King>> is something that Nico could only dream of acquiring. These two Ancient Items can only be acquired through defeating the field bosses <<The Scarlet Harlot, Jezebel>> and <<The Ruined King, Kel'Tamura>> respectively. Considering that the top guilds are selfish and are freaking gate keeping these field bosses, acquiring these ancient items are close to impossible for Nico. But now he has them, just like that.

<<Gladiator's Call>> and <<Chalice of Blood >> are both dropped by the Titan <<The Titan Gladiator, Gorgona>>. This Titan doesn't follow the regular respawn times for normal Titans and just respawns randomly out of nowhere. Having such an erratic respawn time made it hard for Nico to participate in the Hunt.

The rest of the Ancient Items given are relatively more easy to acquire, since Nico already has a stock or two of those. The essences however are another topic, since these Pearl Grade Items can only be dropped by Ancient Specters. Knowing the low percentage of spawning an Ancient Specters, the essence given are without a question very valuable.
