Strongest

Planet Edrichrio, the black forest of the northern continent, the strongest continent out of all five continents in the world. It was deemed the strongest continent simply because of one mage, the strongest mage in the history of Edrichrio.

He was not the only mage to have reached the Divine mage rank in the history of Edrichrio but he was the first and had been a Divine mage for thousands of years, making him the undeniably strongest mage to ever exist. What's more, the other three Divine mages are all his students and they had been in this rank for less than a hundred years; they were all also from the northern continent.

Currently, in the black forest of the northern continent that was the most dangerous place in the whole world as even the other Divine mages dared not to venture into it carelessly for fear of getting ambushed by a calamity rank magic beast, a baffling phenomenon was playing out in the middle of the black forest.

If one dared to go deep enough into this region, one would see the massive thousands of purple constellations formed by dozens of thousands of star patterns in the air. These constellations formed into a hundred magic universes in the sky above the forest, releasing brutal and oppressive pressure upon an area of over six hundred meters. All the trees within the range of their pressure were instantly destroyed the instant they formed into magic universes, the streams dried up instantly, and powerful beasts were pressed on the ground by the pressure, forming huge pits in the ground without being able to resist the pressure.

Ruthless gigantic lightning bolts would strike from the one hundred magic universes occasionally, blasting even more scorching pits into the earth as they tried to merge into something unimaginable.

In the middle of this destruction, a young man sat in the middle of the six hundred meters ruin with the massive constellations right above his head. The man looked no older than twenty-seven and had long white hair that fluttered violently due to the pressure bearing down upon the vicinity. Despite all the destruction going on, the young man had a calm expression on his extremely handsome face as his eyes remained shut while his body madly absorbed mana from the surroundings which he fed to the magic universes in the sky.

A few more hours passed before the man's white eyelashes fluttered gently before slowly opening, revealing a pair of dazzling crystal-like eyes that would be able to enchant even beasts just by looking into them. The thousands of constellations in the sky slowly disappeared like they were never there and the pressure that was destroying the deep region of the black forest retracted into the body of this young man. Everything returned to normal except for the ruins that had already happened to the place, it could not be reverted and could only heal with time.

" Combining a hundred magic universes is harder than I imagined, and I thought I could succeed on the first try. Well, at least I already formed the last of the magic constellations. Now I just need to combine the twenty thousand magic constellations into a hundred magic universes before turning them into a black hole. Then…I will finally step into the Transcended mage rank and the strongest mage to ever live" the white-haired young man muttered softly as a sharp glint flashed past his crystal-like eyes for a second.

His body slowly floated off the ground while still in the sitting position before straightening his legs after floating for just two meters into the air.

He looked extremely majestic in his white robe as his feet slowly landed on the ground, he began walking towards the exit of the black forest at a slow pace with both arms folded behind his waist.

This young man was none other than Vee, the strongest mage in existence. Do not be fooled by his young looks, he was over ten thousand years old and was a terrifying mage at the Divine rank. He had been a Divine mage for three thousand years and was on the verge of advancing to the next rank. It had to be said that Vee was without a doubt, the most talented mage ever to be born as well. His speed of breaking through ranks was just too terrifying for others to understand, he was basically a walking cheat.

He had only been in the Divine mage rank for three thousand years but not only had he completely formed a hundred magic universes, he had already started merging them to form a black hole! This was truly an unimaginable speed as other mages take hundreds of years just to form a single constellation and thousands of years to make a single magic universe.

And then there was Vee, who was about to become a Transcended rank mage after just stepping into the divine rank for three thousand years.

"Hmm?"

Vee suddenly paused his steps and looked to the side with a hint of surprise on his face, his eyes glowed with dazzling blue light as his vision pierced through the huge trees and cliffs that were dozens of kilometers away before landing on the figure of a humongous creature that was swiftly moving deeper into the black forest, a little bit further and it would be out of it and enter another continent.

"It actually survived and even managed to move?" Vee voiced out, unable to hide his amazement and interest as he stared at the huge creature that was hurriedly fleeing.

His surprise was not uncalled for because he was very much aware of how oppressive his pressure was compared to other Divine mages who also happened to be his students.

Not a single calamity rank magic beast has been able to move under his pressure since he stepped into the divine mage rank even when they were supposed to be equal in terms of strength if not the beasts being stronger since their body constitutions were usually stronger than those of humans.

But for the first time in three thousand years, Vee finally found a calamity rank beast that was able to resist his fully released pressure and even move under it. Dozens of calamity rank magic beasts had passed out under the effect of his pressure while he was trying to merge the hundred magic universes into a black hole, but not only had this particular beast not passed out by his pressure, it was even able to move and flee to such a distance!

"Interesting, looks like I will finally be able to stretch a bit" Vee chuckled as a wicked smirk formed on the side of his lips.

"Lightning flash" he voiced out softly as the images of two purple magic universes appeared behind him, each magic universe containing dozens of purple constellations and hundreds of purple star patterns.

Vee easily connected the numerous star patterns and magic constellations, and within a second, the two magic universes were connected. The two magic universes glowed brightly and shattered into purple light particles and rushed into Vee's body, his entire body began to flick with lightning, and the next instance…

Blitzzz!!

Vee turned into a purple and white lightning streak and flashed through the air, disappearing in an instant and appearing dozens of kilometers away. He appeared in front of the gigantic creature in an instant, his sudden appearance startled the beast so much that it lost all dignity as a calamity rank magic beast as it turned around and fled in the opposite direction, it was trying to escape from the tiny human that had appeared in front of it.

"Fleeing without even putting up a fight? Pathetic" Vee scoffed as two magic universes appeared behind him once again.

"Lightning chains"

He connected them within a second as numerous purple lightning chains that were as thick as trees lunged out from the magic universes and went after the creature, catching up to it in a matter of seconds.

The lightning chains wrapped around the creature and held it in place while zapping it at the same time but compared to the size of the creature, the chains were like ropes and it broke through them after mere seconds of struggling with them.

"It even broke it, it's not as pathetic as I thought" Vee commented because it had been long since he found someone or something that could resist his spells. His eyes were literally sparkling from joy, but he remained calm and did not overreact.

"Stop!" He suddenly ordered in a commanding voice, this time he did not summon any magic universe but the calamity rank magic beast suddenly found itself unable to move no matter how hard it tried to.

"Ah, how wonderful. I finally got to use my second ability after how many years have passed, I should thank you" Vee nodded in satisfaction as he strolled over to the trembling beast that was trying to break free from his command.

This was the second ability he got after newly awakening as a magic apprentice rank mage thousands of years ago but due to it not having a color to represent it at the awakening, Vee himself did not realize it was a power and simply forgot about it.

He had only resumed researching it after becoming a mage king and figured out that he could actually use it.

The power of Rules.
