"Hey, you there!"

A soft female voice suddenly sounded from behind him, Vee turned around and saw that it was the purple haired woman who had been in charge of their awakening.

'What is she here for? I'm sure I've been acting very well up till now, she couldn't have seen through me, right?' Vee thought to himself but didn't let any of his suspicion to show on his face.

He turned to face the woman and gave her a deep bow.

'Tks! This hurt my pride, bowing for a kid. Well, no one will find out who I really am anyway so I guess it's fine' Vee sighed inwardly.

The purple haired woman stared at Vee for a while without saying anything, her eyes studying Vee's expression which was strangely calm. Other kids would appear nervous just standing before her or would avoid eye contact due to them having weird thought of her.

"Is there a problem, umm…"

"Just call me miss Bree" the purple haired woman introduced herself as she positioned her glasses.

She did not mind being called miss by a teenager. After all, she was still considered young according to the measurements for mages.

"Alright, Miss Bree. Is there a problem?" Vee nodded and asked.

"None that I know of, where are you coming from?" Bree asked.

"The cafeteria, I went to get food" Vee replied and brought out his storage device as the packaged meals appeared above it before keeping them again.

"Hmm, you can go. Remember class begins tomorrow" Bree waved her hand, gesturing for Vee to leave.

Vee nodded and turned to leave, he had only taken a few steps when he felt a pressure suddenly fall on him and began to press on his shoulders. The pressure was weak at first but quickly increased by the second.

Vee's eyes flashed with a sharp glint, a smirk formed on his lips which Bree did not see since he was backing her.

'A mere mage king mental aura?'

After thousands of years after stepping through the supreme mage rank, this was the first time someone had tried to pressure him with mental aura and Vee could not help but get excited for a brief moment that he forgot he was currently acting to be a little kid.

He was about to shock Bree by cancelling the pressure that she as releasing when he remembered that he was currently role playing.

'Oh crap!' Vee cursed inwardly and quickly got into acting.

His body suddenly turned stiff and his steps appeared heavy as his legs began to tremble, he fell on his knees with a thud sound and began to gasp for air.

Bree saw Vee suddenly fall to his knee and began to breathe heavily, her face showed a strange expression and she immediately withdrew her pressure.

Vee immediately reacted after the pressure on his body was lifted, he fell on his back and began to pant heavily; his body was drenched in sweat and he turned to stare at Bree with confusion.

Bree felt her heart tighten when those young innocent eyes stared at her with fearful confusion as if asking what his offense was, she had to force her facial muscles to remain calm so that she didn't show any expression of guilt I'm front of the kid.

She stepped close to Vee and released wisps of mana which she used to pick him from the floor before placing him on his feet, a calm expression remained glued to her face.

"That was just a test to help you adapt to mana quickly, you should be happy I decided to do this with you. Just look how miserable you are after just a little test, pathetic!" Bree shook her head and snickered.

She stretched out her hand, on one of her fingers was a silver ring that suddenly glowed for a second and a black hover car appeared in front of them.

Turned out the ring was a storage device and it had enough space to store a hover car!

"Come, I'll give you a ride to your lodge. Although it was me helping you, I'm still the reason you look half dead so consider this as a compensation" Bree said to Vee in an expressionless voice and dragged him into the hover car.

Through the ride, neither of them said anything. Vee perfectly continued his act of a half dead teen while Bree continued pretending to be undisturbed about his situation but their thoughts were different.

Vee was mocking Bree in his mind saying 'What compensation? Just say you feel guilty for using your mental aura on a kid. You won't be able to sleep peacefully if you simply left after that'

As for Bree, her mind was in turmoil.

'Did I overthink it then? I only wanted to pressure him a little but he still looked unaffected even after I used the force of a Noble ranked mage, how could a kid at the seedling rank withstand such pressure without even flinching? Goodnight, what's wrong with me?! I simply overreacted because he appeared too calm when facing me. Other boys his age would be blushing from head to toe just after looking at me or because nervous.

But, he still looks abnormal no matter how I think of it. His actions are not just… normal. Two white heads, one with two elements and the other with suspecting character' Bree thought as she stared at Vee from the corner of her 'i will have to place you two under close observation' she decided. The school had already decided to place Alex under observation for the time being but now she was going to add Vee to the list.

It might be her who was just overthinking but her intuition had rarely failed her.

Bree dropped Vee off in front of area seven before speeding off.

"Sheesh, such a troublesome woman. Hope I get to meet her less from now on" Vee said as she entered area seven and headed for building 105.

...

"You have got to be kidding me" Vee exclaimed in a stupefied manner, his eyes stared at a certain purple haired woman with glasses and a white lab coat draped over her shoulders standing in front of the class.

What had he said yesterday? About hoping to not seeing Bree too often? Fvck! She turned out to be the main teacher for their class!!
