Miur ended the prayer. I stood up and started walking, fists curled at my side. I heard him scuffling to follow when it became apparent I wasn't returning to the hobbit hole.

I couldn't say anything, or else I might start yelling at him - or crying. Both of which Miur didn't deserve. I wouldn't shoot the messenger.
