CHAPTER 06- Depart

Raisha and Sheekha both understood that something serious is going to happened to them. They knew that they will definitely get a punishment for their misbehavior.

Sheekha and Raisha you both come here and tell me where have you been all the time ? said Mrs. Ashoka in a black voice.

Raisha unable to speak as usual, remained silent as a scared hare. Her body was burning with fear and her legs were shivering.

Teacher, we both went to the washroom as I had a bad stomachache since yesterday night. Sheekha lied her teacher without hesitation.

Having a scornful smile on her face the principal madam woke up her voice...

Oh really dear girl ..? We already sent your colleagues to the washrooms in search of you but you were both not anywhere there.

Now you are asked for the second time to tell what were you two doing during this whole time? asked the principal madam looking at Sheekha with a disgust.

Raisha understood that there's no use of lying anymore, but she knew that she can't betray her beloved friend by telling them the truth. So she continued remaining silent but tears started to roll down her cheeks impulsively.

Girls..... You both are late for Mrs. Ashoka's lesson by twenty minutes and this girl still hanging her school bag said the principal again impatiently. She took no notice of Raisha's tears and remined staring at the girls until they speak out.

Madam, we both then went to the library to handover the book Raisha borrowed last week and we took so long to choose a good one to read. We were so busy on that to hear the bell and come to the classroom for the lesson. Please forgive us madam... Please forgive us Mrs. Ashoka for causing this much trouble... said Sheekha in her best appealing voice.

Hearing this Raisha was so surprised about her friend being so careless on saying things to the head of the school so irresponsibly.

So is that your answer Sheekha ??

Madam, they are not going to tell us the truth then. Now get ready to receive the punishment now.... said Mrs. Ashoka in a cold voice while turning to the head of the school.

Then the principal suddenly gave a signal to someone outside the class. After that there appeared two senior prefects of the school and started checking Raisha and Sheekha. They checked their bags and uniform pockets too.

The brave girl, Sheekha was shivering with fright this time. Just as she thought her letter got caught by the prefects and they both took to the principal's office immediately. Sheekha was asked many questions and she had to tell the truth. Sheekha begged the principal and the class teacher to not to inform this matter to her parents. But they refused her request. They questioned Raisha too. They understood that Raisha is innocent, but for being late to the class and for not reveling the truth even when asked twice by the adults were taken as her faults.

Both their parents were informed about this and asked to come to the school to talk on this matter further. The parents agreed to receive any kind of decision the school management gets on this matter. Specially Sheekha was advised strictly on her behavior inside and outside the school.

Raisha.... You always remain silent on any matter... But don't think that it will suit every where right... Don't think that I consider you as an innocent girl anymore right... I will keep my eyes on you too right.... said Mrs. Ashoka while frowning at Raisha.

Raisha looked down and regretted so much of forgetting about the bell and for not asking Sheekha to throw away the letter after they finished reading it.

Two days after the incident Mrs. Ashoka had taken a painful decision for the whole class.

Sheekha and Raisha stand up girls....

You girls... I never thought you will bring so much disgrace to your class and to me and specially to your parents said Mrs. Ashoka staring at them angrily.

From this matter I understood that the girls in my class have matured so early and there may be more of this kind of girls without my awareness. so I think the best option is to make you sit according to the register order. Then you won't be able to sit with your friends in the class and do such bad things and to talk rubbish in the free periods.

Hearing this all the girls in the class began to scream with anger and begged Mrs. Ashoka to not to do so. However the girls very well knew their class teacher never takes her step back once put forward. All the girls blamed Sheekha and Raisha for pushing them into such an agony. The two girls lay forlorn.

Immediately Mrs. Ashoka took the register and asked all the girls to pack their things to obtain their new sitting places. Everybody looked very sad and miserable for losing their companions.

Here.... Listen to me girls... I'm going to call your names only once ok.... So please listen carefully and take your seats from the first row of desks and chairs...right... said the class teacher without giving a glance on her girls knowing how downhearted they are.

Samantha... you sit in the corner....

Denisha....you take the second....

...........Mrs. Ashoka continued announcing the seating order.

Next come Sheekha... come and sit next to Hiranya....

Now Milee come and sit next to Raisha.....

After make seating all the class members Mrs. Ashoka looked victoriously at her classroom.

Now I think this is the best option to control your bad behavior and this will be a good solution for the noise you make during the free periods. All of you can try finding new friends and I'm strictly informing you that you must not change your seating positions when I leave the class.

Danuki as the class monitor you have to inform me on such misbehaviors.

Ok children then all of you stand up.....

Good morning and have a nice day.... said Mrs. Ashoka while focusing her view to Sheekha and Raisha and left the class.

All the girls looked sad but until the interval they have to work and didn't get enough time to spend time to bother about the new situation.

During the interval all the girls went to see and talk to their friends and nobody spoke to Sheekha and Raisha as they all annoyed with them very much.

The two friends talked to each other for a while and said goodbye and returned to their places with a great sorrow for missing their mutual relationship.

Raisha was unable to speak with her new colleague lay silent without even giving a glance at her.

Oh... god... How can I bear this....? I miss Sheekha so very much... I can never ever find a friend again.... I won't be able to speak up to a friend again for my whole life again. thought Raisha regretting painfully.

But Sheekha was not ready to take her step back on her decision. Although she promised her parents to stop associating boys, the promise was limited only to words. She began a relationship with Susan secretely to the whole world, even to Raisha. Sheekha enjoyed her life fully and took no notice of anybody's advice.

However Raisha continued smart on her studies and Sheekha went on in an average level. Mrs. Ashoka always kept her eyes on two of them. Although Raisha worked so smart Mrs. Ashoka never praised her for that. She always missed mentioning how good Raisha had done her school work, specially in her favourite subject English. But Raisha tolerated everything and never blamed Sheekha on that.

When time passed by Raisha and Milee Both got to talk to each other and found similarities in their thoughts and bounded together with a great mutualism.

But Raisha never thought this will be a kind of relationship that her entire life will change...
