CH1:Start over again

Inside a misty valley Ethan was cultivating, flames would start erupting from time to time.

Scarlett flame blossoms like a lotus in the sky making a wonderful scenery. Ethan opened his eyes and finally, he advanced to sky level! After a while a majestic man came with formidable strength he smiled and said

''Congratulations Tan you are at sky level even though you are only thirteen years old I'm happy for you'' This man is Haze Ethan's master he walks closer to him and starts to inspect the newfound strength of his student.

''Master it's all because of your earnest teaching that I was able to advance fast'' Ethan humbly bowed to his teacher showing great respect.

Haze became his teacher when he was seven he took over his training ever since his parents died he couldn't rely too much on his grandfather whose busy with family matters and his cultivation.

''Heheheh.. now let's not be formal Ethan you know me I always treat you like my own son'' He looks at Ethan while seemingly trying to remember a certain person.

''Well, I do know that you are still in love with my mother '' After saying that he flew fast but still, Haze was able to catch up giving his student a good beating.

''Ethan not because you reach sky level you can act arrogant'' While saying this he struck his student three more times before he let Ethan fall to a nearby lake.

''Master I know I'm still at the limit level unless I advance to a greater level would I only able to act like what I wanted also Master are trying to kill me those punches hurt like hell'' Ethan was soaking from head to toe while his body is bruised he swam at the shore when he saw his master coming down.

There are many levels in cultivation Elementary, Human, Earth, Sky, Nirvana, Demigod, Deity, and God level. Each level has five sub-levels before advancing. The elementary level was the starting and the most basic level after advancing to the Human level can someone start cultivating techniques. Earth level the body of the cultivator starts to harden like steel.

Sky level also known as the limit level is known for being the limit of many cultivators. Many young prodigies of many families got stuck at sky level unable to advance to Nirvana level. That's the main reason why the sky level became a critical level to many cultivators because this level could decide their future. If the cultivator successfully advanced, Nirvana will be the next level which is needed to form a firm connection towards the body and spirit of the cultivator. Next is Demigod where the cultivator forms their spirit sea which enables them to use their spiritual consciousness. At the Deity level cultivator's soul becomes immortal and can be reincarnated many times with memories of their previous life intact and at God's level the body and soul of the cultivator become immortal.

''Since you are at Sky level, I need to take extreme measures to ensure your advancement.. hehe... Ethan you don't need to worry this technique will help you advance" Haze looks at Ethan as if he is some kind of guinea pig.

''Master I don't like the way you look at me'' Haze moved closer to him while he took a step back.

whoosh!!..

Many hand seals appeared from Haze followed by a large formation swallowing Ethan's entire body, dazzling lights began to light the dark and misty sky.

Boom!! The whole valley shook after the hand seal and formation disappeared Ethan emerged again.

"Ah!" Ethan can't help but shout his sky-level cultivation disappear leaving no trace behind

''Ethan calm down I only temporarily seal your sky-level cultivation strength this is my way of you advancing, you just have to cultivate again and reach the sky level after that my seal will be broken and let you breakthrough Nirvana level'' He explains everything while giving Ethan a silver storage ring.

''Wait Master you mean...''Ethan reaches out and receives the ring.

''Yes, you just have to start over again this time you can't cultivate the same technique you used before'' Haze smiled contently seeing his student's reaction.

''WHAT START OVER AGAIN!'' Ethan exclaimed in disbelief his master's craziness overwhelmed his sense of judgment.

Haze looked at the sky a few minutes ago he had sent his student away and now must have begun his journey.

While continuing his daily routine the sky suddenly became dark, thunder started to roar slowly many figures began to appear behind the dark clouds.

Haze stopped what he was doing and shifted his gaze to the sky.

''It seems like I have some guests'' he smiled and with a flash, he appeared right in front of his visitors.

''It's been a while Haze Magnus how are you?'' the man wearing a crimson armor said.

''I'm doing good but the moment I saw your face my stomach suddenly started to turn'' Haze answered back.

The man seems calm then he snaps his finger to signal his men.

From the clouds, an army came out all of which have the power of a Deity cultivator.

''You want a fight Kaleb aren't you afraid your army will not be enough to fight me'' Haze said still looking calm even if his outnumbered by his enemies.

''I want to find out if you can handle them'' Kaleb said then he signaled his army to attack.

Haze didn't move he just looked at the army launching their attack on him.

Hum

A huge formation suddenly blocks all the attacks and bounces them back to the enemy.

''Array sphere formation in midair!'' Kaleb exclaimed.

The sky brightens in contrast the clouds remain dark and chaotic.

A series of array sphere formations surround the entire army even alarming Kaleb.

''You should've brought a bigger army to fight me Kaleb'' he said while remaining still.

''I expect nothing less from you Haze'' Kaleb then summoned his weapon the clouds became even darker thunder echoed everywhere and a crack appeared from the sky.

''Come Alcas!''

Lightning struck from the sky and landed on Kaleb's hand forming a spear.

With the might of his weapon, Kaleb swung his spear and destroyed the array sphere formation engulfing his army.

His attack didn't stop there as lightning began to cover the entire valley.

''Haze I present you my own formation'' Kaleb's spear vanished from his hand and went back to the sky.

''Ten thousand lightning formation''

Boom

A building-sized lightning struck Haze over and over again within the span of ten seconds Haze was struck fifty times and every hit was stronger than the other.

''Haze my army and I will return as long as you hand the seal to us just surrender it and we will leave you alive'' Kaleb said.

''Surrender?'' Haze said softly.

Whoosh!

The lightning suddenly stopped, and the array sphere formation that broke a moment ago reformed itself by Haze's thought the light it gave washed the dark clouds away making the thunderstorm stop.

''Let's stop talking and just fight okay'' With these words Haze activated the array sphere formation the essence qi spun suddenly. The energy made the nearby cultivators alert making them set their attention towards the misty valley.

Heaven and earth begin to shake due to the clashes of energy making the scene hellish. The mountains flattened, beasts from lowest to highest all fled to safety, and the essence qi kept focusing in one place. The ground bears the impact of the fight as magma and burning rocks sprout from it.

Haze looked at Kaleb as he became part of the clouds turning himself into lightning. Thunder roared again and struck Haze repeatedly until the clouds became dark as it brought down a bolt of lightning that seemed to have the power to end the world with it Kaleb came down to Haze.

BANG!

It landed itself to Haze as Kaleb came with it using his spear to stab his enemy.

''Nice attack your thunder gate always has this much power and now you can teleport yourself with it impressive'' Hearing Haze's voice Kaleb looked shocked as the smoke fades he saw his spear countered by a mere hand.

''But sadly you are not the only one who improved'' Holding the spear with his hand his body glowed and that even more shocked Kaleb.

''Array sphere formation form on your body'' Kaleb mumbled.

The array sphere formation moves according to Haze's thoughts reforming itself and sending Kaleb to the ground. Kaleb stood up again like nothing happened and their fight continued in the sky.

Kaleb's speed and strength both exceed a normal Deity cultivator's strength accompanied by his spear he became even more dangerous.

Zap!

Lightning struck Haze a hundred strikes repeatedly hit him within five seconds thankfully his formation took the damage for him.

Green flames came to Haze's command covering the entire sky. It crawls to the soldiers making the array sphere formation grow even stronger engulfing Kaleb's army.

Lightning and flame ignite the sky, Kaleb and Haze exchange powerful attacks but it seems that Kaleb's speed made it hard for Haze to hit him and Haze's array sphere formation made it hard for Kaleb to hurt him now both of them are in a stalemate.

''I don't believe I can't hurt you'' Kaleb said to himself as he held his spear again. The spear seems to become part of Kaleb until it turns into magnificent armor.

Every part of his body breeds the power of lightning his speed and strength are now double.

Zoom!

Haze couldn't see what happened as he realized that his body had already been buried in the ground.

''What the!'' he looked up to the sky and saw Kaleb looking down on him.

He tried to move but a rope like lightning already tied him down.
