Background Information :

Ragnar is born to Thorin and Astrid during a stormy and thunderous day leading to others believing he is Thor's son. Thorin who gained the name Storm breaker due to his strength and use of a war hammer and Astrid a shieldmaiden who earned the name Valkyrie for her prowess on the battle field. Thorin and Astrid were friends of Mikael and Ester. Thorin died covering and clearing a path for Mikeal and Astrid. Mikeal swore he would take care of Ragnar as if he was his own son and lookout for Astrid but his oath was put to the test as Astrid soon died due to the injuries she got from that battle. Ragnar was 5 when he lost his parents but Mikeal and Ester managed to somewhat fill the void left by Thorin and Astrid.

When Rebekah reached the age of maturity she was wedded to Ragnar. Ragnar's growth and potential in fighting and war soon reached a state of him being stronger and faster than Mikeal, who grew proud of Ragnar's accomplishments. His skills earned him acknowledgement among the villagers as he became a seasoned warrior. His Tattoos reflect his belief in the old gods and his promise to never run from battle as it would make a mess of his progress and tattoo( see display for tattoo).

The rest of the characters will be as it is , the story will remain the same except for some changes here and there. Basically going to be The Vampire Diaries and Originals.
