472 Angry Commissioner Gordon

"The police can only eat dust following behind superheroes and supervillains!"

With Arthur's slightly crazy smile on his face, the mockery was full, and Commissioner Gordon was naturally furious. While the rational part of him knew the other might be intentionally provoking, emotionally, he couldn't help but take the bait. He sternly declared, "The answer to this question must be a!"

Bruce Wayne frowned, carefully assessing Arthur, just as the countdown to answer began. He barely had time to remind Commissioner Gordon before hurriedly hitting the buzzer.

To stop Arthur from winning, they needed to successfully answer. This time, Commissioner Gordon, egged on by Arthur's taunts, almost without hesitation, made his choice, saying defiantly, "I choose a!" and provocatively looking at Arthur.

Arthur nodded with a smile, "I won't be like some cop, saying one thing on the surface and another in secret. For this question, I choose d."

Before mocking Commissioner Gordon, he set a trap for himself, intentionally misleading him with incorrect options even though he knew the right answer.

Seeing the intense competition between them, Bruce Wayne could only shake his head in resignation. He also made his choice, opting for d, suspecting the question might mislead players based on Peter's revelation of previous cases.

Peter chose D too but had some doubts, "Can Aunt May help me? She doesn't seem very agile..."

Arthur continued to provoke Commissioner Gordon, "No, trust me, Peter, even your aunt's role is much more significant than the police."

Commissioner Gordon angered, retorted, "Just wait, Joker, you'll soon realize how wrong you are!"

Upon hearing him call Arthur the Joker, both Bruce and Peter raised their eyebrows. Despite previous videos seemingly confirming Arthur as the Joker, at this stage, it seemed Arthur hadn't fully transformed, leaving room for potential redemption.

Bruce and Peter, cautious but maintaining a tacit understanding, tried not to provoke Arthur openly.

Commissioner Gordon caught up in his anger, ignored this understanding. Arthur, unfazed, smiled and said, "Let's see, Commissioner Gordon, we'll watch eagerly."

Soon, the countdown ended, and the correct answer was revealed:D

[Player Jim Gordon answered incorrectly, deducting 4 points]

[Players Bruce Wayne, Player Peter Parker, and Player Arthur Fleck answered correctly, earning 1 point each]

Arthur laughed, couldn't help but dance a little, and when wrapping up, he pointed at Commissioner Gordon, who had a grim face, saying playfully, "Oh, what's this? Looks like the Joker accidentally beat the police?"

Bruce Wayne shook his head, "Gordon, control your emotions, or else interference and bias will affect your future answers."

Commissioner Gordon suffered a significant loss this time. Despite having the chance to answer and Bruce Wayne's clear hint, he was taunted by Arthur, wasting the opportunity and losing four points.

He felt embarrassed and puzzled, "Why? Why does an old woman with white hair..."

Commissioner Gordon couldn't understand. In the struggle between superheroes and supervillains, could an old woman really play a more significant role than the police?

As usual, the screen continued to play the video after the quiz. Spider-Man and Dr. Octopus clashed on the streets, causing chaos. The rapidly responding police arrived in several speeding cars, reacting promptly to the bank heist.

After knocking Spider-Man away, Dr. Octopus didn't want to be surrounded by the police. Coldly scanning the surroundings, his mechanical arms suddenly reached out and grabbed Aunt May hiding in the crowd, using her as a hostage!

Faced with the situation, the police had to abandon the plan of shooting directly, helplessly watching Dr. Octopus taking the elderly woman hostage and effortlessly climbing tall buildings with his mechanical arms, reaching dozens of floors in an instant.

At this point, Commissioner Gordon became even more puzzled. No matter how you looked at it, the old lady seemed like a burden. Why would Dr. Octopus use her as a hostage to threaten Spider-Man? What made it the correct answer?

Continuing to watch, Spider-Man wouldn't stand by and watch Aunt May in danger. He swung on his web to confront Dr. Octopus, not immediately attacking but hoping Dr. Octopus would release the hostage.

Dr. Octopus's actions mirrored the past when the Joker captured Batman's childhood friend Rachel.

"You want me to let her go? Sure, no problem!"

On the rooftop, Dr. Octopus smirked, loosening his mechanical arm, causing Aunt May to scream in terror as she plummeted.

Spider-Man swiftly shot his web, catching Aunt May and pulling her back. Fortunately, his superpowers didn't fail him at this crucial moment, preventing a tragedy.

However, Dr. Octopus wasn't about to let Spider-Man rescue the hostage smoothly. Taking advantage of Spider-Man's distraction, he swung his mechanical arms, violently attacking.

Spider-Man, battered by the assault, couldn't immediately attend to Aunt May.

But Aunt May showed her wit. When she soared into the air, she used the umbrella in her hand to hook onto the building, barely clinging to the wall. Yet, it was perilous. An elderly woman attempting such risky and acrobatic maneuvers—any slip could lead to a fatal fall.

Spider-Man hoped to help her out of this predicament, but Dr. Octopus took advantage of his distraction, continuously harassing and attacking with his mechanical arms.

The battle on top of the tall building became intense, with the crowd below needing to be cautious. Even a small piece of debris falling from above could be lethal.

In the video, Spider-Man and Dr. Octopus's battle seemed evenly matched, and outside the screen, the audience was exhilarated, simultaneously condemning Dr. Octopus for his shamelessness and taking advantage of the situation, using a hostage to distract Spider-Man and disrupt his focus on the fight.
