1 Where...?

Blinking awake due to the bright light that was shining on his face, the young lad frowned in confusion. He glanced around him, taking in the turquoise leaves of the trees around him, orange clouds above him, and blue grass beneath him. He looked down at what he was wearing, and saw that he was wearing his pajamas.

"I'm... Not home, am I?" he remarked dryly, to no one in particular. "This is clearly not my house, definitely not even Earth... Frick me, don't tell me I am somehow in another world?"

His sharp purple eyes started to dart about, taking in everything about his surroundings, while listening for any sounds that might signal signs of life, hostile or otherwise. All he heard was the familiar rustle of the leaves as a gentle breeze swept past them.

A thought seemed to pop into his mind, and his brows furrowed as he thought about it.

"... Status?"

Nothing happened.

"Bah, that was worth a shot," he murmured, though the disappointment on his face was plain as day. Finally, he stood up, brushed the few dried leaves clinging his clothes off, and stretched. He might as well make the most of his time here - who knows where 'here' even was.

As he strolled through the forest, he couldn't help but marvel at the spectacular sight around him. It was as though he had landed himself in a world like NxGxmeNxLxfe, seeing that the colours of all the things around him were so very unique. So very different from what he was used to back on Earth, but so very beautiful. The way the fresh air rushed into his nose and the way the sun warmed his skin made him feel glad to be alive.

Then, a bush.

The bush had tons of fruits on it, and he went over to pick some. These fruits looked like raspberries, but were a bright yellow. Staring closely at them, he realized that oddly enough, there was a weird box that told him of what these fruits were.

[ Sunberries - Edible - Calms the soul and nourishes the spirit. +(1-5) Favourability. Warning - Excessive consumption may lead to diarrhea ]

The blonde decided to collect as many as he could, and ate some along the way. The berries were sweet and tangy and had a warm feeling spreading through his mouth as he chewed them.

"I've tried status and it doesn't look like I have it, but would I have an item box or inventory? Eh, let's just try my luck..." He focused and thought about storing the sunberries in his hand and.... They vanished! He stared at his now empty hands in shock, the shock soon turning into delight. "Inventory!" he called.

[ Capacity: 1/10000

Item list: Sunberry (x17) ]

He stared at this box in joy, a smile spreading across his face as he turned back to the innocent bush with a greedy expression.

Minutes later, the bush that had been filled with sunberries was now completely bare.

The boy seemed to stare into space, as observed by a small creature hidden behind a tree stump. It growled unhappily, as it had watched as its favorite sweet treat mysteriously vanished as the human touched each one of them, and before long, none were left. 'How unfair!' the critter thought indignantly, 'How greedy!! I shall confront this bad human!' It nodded self-righteously and left the cover of the tree stump, making a beeline for the boy.
