Having arrived on the campus, Feng Shi had no other choice but to gather herself together as she stood in front of the gate.
Zang Tou looked at his young charge with concern over the window of the car before closing the tinted glass, turning back and driving away knowing that there is nothing much he can do for her without overstepping his boundaries.
The students glance at her occasionally just like her first day. Fortunately, she is used with the spotlight and simply smiled softly.
The breeze swept her hair sideway forcing her to hold it out of her face.
She walked toward her classroom, waving at acquaintances along the way.
She is currently on a mission and she can't afford to be dazed out. She needs to focus on the present, not the past or future.
Feng Shi arrived at the classroom fifteen minutes early allowing her to take a sigh of relief.
She immediately went to her seat where her friends were already sitting with each other.
Cheng Xiu was currently reading a book on Chemistry that is surprisingly, or maybe not, at the university level already to pass the time.
Sima Lin and Huang Jun where both talking about last night's basketball game and Chia Biu was on her phone while Cao Ai was talking to the person in front of her.
"Hey! Feng Shi, have you heard the NEWS?" Cao Ai waved over as Feng Shi made her way toward them.
"What NEWS?" She asked setting her bag down and taking the seat between Cheng Xiu and the window.
They have already taken their permanent seats during their last homeroom class.
Feng Shi had taken the chair at the very back near the window with Cheng Xiu beside her. On her front is Cao Ai with Huang Jun beside her and next to Cheng Xiu is Chia Biu while next to Huang Jun is Sima Lin.
"There are new students joining us" Cheng Xiu shared the NEWS before Cao Ai could making her glare at him for ruining her flare.
"Yeah, and also..."
"They are also assigned in our class!" Huang Jun cut off.
Cao Ai glared at these two monkeys who took her spotlight. "Geez, thanks for informing her babe. It wasn't like I wanted to tell her that or anything" She sarcastically commented.
"Ops?" Huang Jun grinned apologetically. "Sorry babe" He hugged his girlfriend with a sorry expression only to be met with a glare as Cao Ai shrugged off his hold.
Huang Jun immediately gave his girlfriend a kicked puppy look making Cao Ai soften and simply tsk but letting him hold her hand this time.
"Cough, wimp, Cough" Sima Lin commented.
Huang Jun threw an eraser at Sima Lin for the comment but the other simply catches it and smirk smugly.
"Boys" Chia Biu rolled her eyes at them.
"I guess that's why everyone seems to be buzzing" Feng Shi cut in before another argument could happen between this two argumentative couple.
This is a great surprise since they had not had any addition to their class since they entered High School.
True to her words, her classmates are busy chattering about around her. Some trying on make up over their current one. Feng Shi winced when she glanced at the brunette up front. Purple is not her color and they do know that there is such thing as too much makeup right?
Thinking back on her plan, Feng Shi stood up and took her bag with her.
"Going somewhere, Feng Shi?" Cheng Xiu asked glancing up from his book.
"Just in front" She replied walking pass him.
"Hey, I've wanted to try on a new makeup and your skin tone matches it perfectly. Can I please try it on you? You will love it I promise" Feng Shi convinces the girls, acting cute with her hands behind her back, and pure eyes shinning brightly.
"Really? I would like that" The brunette beamed while the other girls looked at her in jealousy.
As the School Flower, Feng Shi's credibility when it comes to beauty is very much trusted. Not to mention the fact that she is known to be the nicest and sweetest girl in the campus so they have no doubt about her hidden agenda.
Feng Shi beamed rampaging her backpack for her makeup kit.
She may not have a magical backpack that have everything like a certain small hard explorer but she have enough items packed in there that would make sure that she's well prepared for most occasions.
"First, we need to get rid of your current makeup" Feng Shi informed the girls opening her makeup remover and gently wiping her face.
After that, she made use of her previous knowledge with how colors and make up matches and started by shaping her brows as sharp brows does not do well with her chubby cheeks.
She did not forget to complement how soft her skin and some of her other features as she work her beauty magic. No girl could ever resist a compliment.
By the time she was done, the girl was beaming from her praises while others looks on in interest.
"And bwala! You look stunning!" Feng Shi praises showing her the mirror from one of her make up.
The brunette had a pinkish color for her eyes formed to perfectly accommodate her Phoenix eyes while her blush on appears to be natural and her lips were glossed over with a pinkish red lip tint. Beautiful yet simple and natural.
"I Love it! Thank you!" The brunette exclaimed hugging Feng Shi in appreciation.
"It looks amazing. It perfectly matches her"
"I also want that look"
"Girl you're make over is fabulous"
"Feng Shi, can you do me next?"
"No, me!"
"Feng Shi, if it's okay with you I would also like to try on that look"
"Girl! You can try your magic on my face anytime"
Feng Shi was swarmed by her female classmates making her give a helpless look.
"I can only do it to one more since classes would start soon but I won't mind sharing beauty tips during our break. And if you guys still want it then, I would happily do it" She informed them before picking the shy nerd, Zao Ran.
Though disappointed, the girls understood and agreed to meet with her during lunch.
Feng Shi sincerely did her best to improve Zao Ran's looks hoping that having others appreciate her beauty would improve her confidence in herself.
Unfortunately, she did not have any contact with her but she managed to make the cute nerdy look work for her.
By the time she was finished, she only have a minute left.
"Girl, I didn't know that you’re a beauty guru!" Cao Ai teased as she sat down.
Feng Shi laughed awkwardly before replying. "I dabbled in my free time"
Before they could press her more into it, their teacher arrives and quieted the whole class down.
"All right class, by now I know that you already aware of your new classmates. So welcome them and be nice" The teacher instructed before ushering the new students in.
"Students?" Feng Shi thought confused since there was only supposed to be one transfer student.
A girl with curly hair, fair skin, and wearing a cute French fashion dress walked in. She looked lovable and cute at first glance but Feng Shi knew better.
The other was a boy who winked at Feng Shi making Cheng Xiu look at him with narrowed eyes.
Feng Shi gaped at the boy, it was none other than the angelic boy in the club.
"Hello everyone, I'm Michael Claus, please take care of me" Michael bowed as the girl shrieks and swooned at his charm.
"Teacher he can sit next to me!"
"Oh my, girl how do I look?"
"Michael there is a free seat next to me"
"Hey" The last girl's seatmate indignantly called off the girl.
"oh hush up! You can just scram" The girl hissed back.
"Settle down! Settle down class" The teacher called out.
"Michael you can sit on the chair right there" The teacher decided pointing at the empty seat at the back.
"Yes, Teacher" Michael obediently replied before walking towards the back. The girls acted coquettishly, seductive, and shy as he passed by trying to get his attention.
"Now, miss please introduce yourself as well" The Teacher urged making the girl look bashful, looking down but still peaking through her lashes causing the boys to look infatuated while the girls look at this new girl in apprehension.
"Hi, uhm good- good morning everyone. Nice to meet you, I'm- uh, my name" The girl tried to introduce herself taking on a pitiful appearance making others feel like protecting her.
"Feng Hai" Feng Shi and the transfer girl finished at the same time.
That's right, this girl is none other than her step-sister, Feng Hai.
