The next day, Liu Wei went missing.

As Yu Qingyu scrambled out of bed and left his chambers, to his surprise, in front of his doors he didn't see the tall and handsome young guard. Instead, there was a middle-aged knight he barely recognized.

He looked around with a frown on his face. Liu Wei, or rather Vynn Cyrith, was Prince Allen's personal guard. As far as Yu Qingyu was aware, he shouldn't have been able to take a day off without his knowledge and approval… Unless Liu Wei wanted to completely abandon the role. 

Did he figure out his mission? Or was it something else? Either way, Yu Qingyu couldn't afford to let Liu Wei out of his sight.

"Where is Vynn?" he asked the knight.

"Your Highness, Vynn Cyrith has been summoned by His Highness the Crown Prince."

"The Crown Prince?" Yu Qingyu's frown deepened. Why would Prince Alnar…? "Why?"

"I don't know that, Sir."

"When?"
