When the manager and talent arrived at the studio, it was still early. This worked with Wang Shou's legendary professionalism and Xiao Yang's respectful nature during jobs. While Xiao Yang greets staff, Wang Shou glances around with a cool expression on.

Wang Shou dressed casually in a white polo shirt and knee length jean skirt. She sported a pair of white tennis and her hair gathered in a high ponytail. Paired with her bare face, she gave off a sporty look.

The stylists and makeup artists couldn't help but glance at her as she came in with Xiao Yang. She was clearly mixed-raced and older and didn't have outstanding looks. But something about her caught the eye of a younger woman.

There was a young stylist watching her and found her stylist a bit refreshing. Stopping her senior who was off with accessories in her hands.

"Ah, Senior. Who's that woman who came in with Male God Yang? I like her style." It was simple and the woman was a bit handsome looking despite being a woman. Her height was modelesque, and her face was in the shape of a moon.

"Don't you know? That's his manager. They've known each other for their whole lives it seems like. He doesn't even like others doing his hair and makeup if it's not her. Mr. Yang doesn't like being around women--except for that newcomer?"

"Ah, Miss Su? She looks sweet."

Besides herself, Wang Shou slowly nods. If she wasn't here on a mission, she would think the same. But she knows better--Su Yan was around Xiao Yang for a reason, and it couldn't be good.

"Jie, you look beautiful today."

Wang Shou gives a small smile at Xiao Yang's compliment as he strode up beside her. He was already dressed in a school uniform, since he was playing a high-schooler. She was reminded of how he looked then and couldn't help but to comment, "Ah, Xiao Yang, you look handsome as well today...just like you did before."

Xiao Yang smiles sweetly at the memory, before chatting more as Wang Shou prepares to style his hair with pomade and apply light make-up to his face.

"Do you remember my entrance ceremony?"

She nods.

"Of course I do. Since that same year I decided to move to B City, you cried as if you were the one sending me off."

"Oh come on, Jie. I didn't try that much."

"Oh really?" Wang Shou takes out her, pretty much ancient flip phone, showing him her background. Twenty-Five year-old Wang Shou stood neck to Xiao Yang, her smile bright. She was much taller than him at the time, seeing that he didn't go through his growth spurt just yet. Xiao Yang, much younger, wearing his new school uniform. His face was red, clutching his clothes--he was devastated. While Wang Shou was there long enough to attend his ceremony, she was to leave later that day. His Jie he grew up with was moving to another city, and he couldn't do anything about!

Of course he was upset!

"It's been my background for the past couple of years."

"With the same flip you bought with your part time job...ah, Jie doesn't that mean you're a bit old--ow!"

Still styling his hair, Wang Shou tugs at his ear.

"Don't sass me, boy."

He gives him a mock pout, looking at her like he was wronged.

"Don't give me that look, either. That worked when you were twelve, not twenty-five." She replies with her usual cold mask, although if looked hard enough, they could see her lips were curled in a slight smile.

Looking at the pair, people in the room, staff and actors alike had weirdly felt like they were eating dog food--however, their feelings were collectively shut back in after they were grounded in reality.

The Male God Xiao Yang and his manager?

Impossible.

Some laughed at their own silly minds.

During the light chatter and blooming atmosphere, the female lead entered. Instead of greeting the staff she was working with today, she rushed over to talk with Xiao Yang. While many of the younger workers we're too mad about this, the elders took offense to it. They felt like the young girl didn't have much in terms of manners.

"Yang-Gege, Auntie Wang." While Wang Shou's face turns back cold, with no warmth being seen. Lee was screaming inside of her space while Sabrina tsked.

Lee: Auntie?! Your whole family's an Auntie! !!!!|┛*`Д´|┛・・~~┻━┻ ┳━┳

"Su Yan, nice to see you again."

Sabrina: Like hell it was nice seeing you again! (ꐦ𝅒_𝅒)

This fake little white lotus, quick to be disrespectful and quick to act as nice and as weak as she can. Wang Shou would have a long road ahead of any plans the young had ahead.

Sighing, she pats Xiao Yang's shoulder, telling him "I'm going to talk to Director Xu and Photographer Wong."

She's known the couple since she decided to become Xiao Yang's manager.

"Ah, Director Xu, Photographer Wong. Please take care of this child again today!" Wang Shou gestures to the fore-mentioned young man. The wife and husband rushed over to her to give her a tight hug--even at seventy and sixty-six, they were quite strong.

They reminded her a lot of her mother and grandparents who passed, who would wake up every morning to maintain a field.

One could say they were like foster parents to her. After her mother passed away when she was twenty, she didn't have family left since her grandparents passed. When she met the two of them, unlike Xiao Yang's family, they felt like parents to her. They couldn't have children themselves and took the young woman in.

Moreover, they even visited each other on holidays and talked often on the phone.

Although...Lee took over and had been preoccupied with the plot to talk to them.

"Oh my sweet girl, I haven't got a call from you in ages. This grandpa thought something was wrong!"

"Right, husband! I haven't seen her in a while but my Shou Er is still so cute!"

Wang Shou's mouth twitched.

Wang Shou: Mrs. Wong, I am a grown woman!

"Ah, I've had my hands full with that boy lately, I'm so sorry. Perhaps we can get some food later?" When she saw their eyes shine, she smirked to her self, and Lee and Sabrina overseeing things high-fived. The couple looked excited, then glanced at her with a glint in their eyes.

"How about you pose for a few pictures with Xiao Yang for compensation?"

Lee, Sabrina: Ah, these plotting fucking grandparents! щ(`Д´щ;)

"But we have the photoshoot--"

Photographer Wong waves her off and a grin.

"We have plenty of time after! Plus aren't you two wearing the same sports brand N*ke? You look like a pair in a commercial!" The older woman gives her two thumbs up while her husband indulges her with a hearty laugh. Wang Shou gives a dry, curt laugh, shifting in her tennis skirt.

"Photographer Wong, that seems like a good plan."

"Xiao Yang! My boy!"

Xiao Yang strides up next to Wang Shou, knocking arms with her as he sneakily takes her hand. Her cheeks heat up, her pointer finger slowly makes circles in his much bigger hand as they chatted with the aging married couple.

Unbeknownst to them, a woman off to the distance glared at them off. Her hands clench into tight fists and she slowly grinds her teeth.

'Don't get so comfortable, Old Hag!'
