If I were a bird

I would soar myself to the dazzling sky

Far away from this place

I would go into the further distance

Passing by the Atlantic ocean

And reach to the end of the Earth

When you can fly any time

That is when you are free for real

Walking aimlessly into to the mesmerizing night

Never letting fear stop myself

Forgetting the painful past full of crystal clear tears

Looking out of the window, to find the birds singing for freedom

I smiled and softly singed and…singed

This was the only thing I could do

Missing countless miraculous chances

Many times on the verge of collapsing

Everyday weeping alone and hiding in the small corner

But never giving up…

Freedom is my dream

A dream that I will purse my whole life

"YU MENG! Listen to me, it is a misunderstanding! Don't mislead yourself like this!" Widening her eyes in astonishment, Ning Qi yelled out loud.

Because Ning Qi's appearance and demeanour especially scary, Yu Meng closed her mouth as a frowned appeared on her flawless face. Not wanting to talk to Ning Qi anymore, Yu Meng started to gossip with Xue Yun.

Yu Meng: Hey, Xue Yun, do you think that Ning Qi likes me?

Xue Yun:...…

Yu Meng: Why are you so quiet today?

Xue Yun: Nothing….I was just a bit surprised…that's all…..

However, Xue Yun was scheming how to save her lovely host from those baddie wolves that always try to snatch her away. It's not that Xue Yun hasn't thought about it before but now she must do it right now or if this annoying Ning Qi tries to make a move, as Yu Meng's senior, she will definitely be able to do it.

Yu Meng: So…tell me, do you think that Ning Qi likes me???

Unaware of everything that her seemingly innocent system was planning, Yu Meng asked as her gossip mood was on.

Xue Yun: According to whatever I see, the possibility of Ning Qi liking you is around 98%, while the rest of the 2% is possibility of her not liking you. Ning Qi really might like you but she also might not. But the possibilities of things happening are infinite, it is hard to predict if she likes you or not. And in my opinion, her not liking you is for the best…..

Yu Meng: Yeah…And I am a straight woman anyways, why will I turn bent just for her?

Softly shaking her head, Yu Meng stopped talking with Xue Yun inside her mind and grumpily waved both of her hands in front of Ning Qi's face.

As if coming back down to Earth once again, Ning Qi blankly stared at Yu Meng as Yu Meng eyed her in doubt. But, suddenly, Yu Meng's stomach growled.

Flushing in embarrassment, Yu Meng hastily turned away and took long deep breath. "I just some time ago…then, why is it that I am still so hungry?

Urgh, I guess there needs to be a proper breakfast after all…."

Yu Meng lowly murmured, her voice barely was barely detectable.

"….Did you eat your breakfast? If not,…..maybe we can have it together?" Ning Qi's lips twitched slightly as she remembered about the huge appetite her junior in front of her and clumsily changed the subject. Nodding without giving it a second thought, Yu Meng eagerly asked Ning Qi where they were eating and didn't notice Ning Qi changing the subject.

"Don't worry, the restaurant we are eating is in this same mall. And it is a really good place to eat actually, I already went once there, so it is not a false thing." Carefully smiling, Ning Qi said.

"That's good!

Ahh, then...are we friends again?" Yu Meng gave an innocent laugh, which hid the cunning look beyond her unfathomable pupils . She never revealed her true nature to anyone expect Xue Yun and the cover she always put up in front of everyone is already deep rooted in her bones, that there is even a possibility that besides Xue Yun, no one might ever know what is her true character. What's more, even the Space God or Lord God don't know of her true nature, and this certainly shows how powerful her façade is.

So, even if Ning Qi and she are frenemies, there is no reason for herself to trust Ning Qi. And Yu Meng has a feeling that Ning Qi approached her with an ulterior motivate at the beginning but slowly as they got along, she fell hard for Yu Meng.

Although, Ning Qi now fell in love with Yu Meng, Yu Meng still doesn't know what was Ning Qi's goal at first. And back then, Yu Meng was just a beginner, she wasn't useful to Ning Qi at all. So, Yu Meng is still on her guard against Ning Qi.

After all, it better to be safe than sorry.

Startled by the sudden question, Ning Qi stiffened and forced a smile a back, " Of course…of course, we are!" Noticing, Ning Qi's stiffness and her forced smile, Yu Meng was genuinely bemused this time. Furthermore, Ning Qi's smile was filled with bitterness and grief.

"What's do you think is going on with her, Xue Yun? She is for sure being very weird though," Yu Meng asked Xue Yun as she walked side by side with Ning Qi to the restaurant.

"I am also not sure. But host, I think I actually figured out a piece of important information about her today," Xue Yun was hesitant at first whether to tell this to her host, but she compromised this time for her host's safety.

Slightly frowning on the inside as she maintained a angelic smile on the outside, Yu Meng questioned Xue Yun, "Quickly get to the main point…"
